The BA Hons Education course is an undergraduate degree program for 3 to 4 years. Universities following NEP 2020 offer this program for 4 years, including research work. Those offering it for a 3-year duration do not include research projects, but students are required to pursue an internship. The course focuses on giving a comprehensive understanding of Education, teaching skills, educational psychology, Student evaluation methods, etc. It teaches how to teach, both theoretically and practically.

 

BA Hons Education eligibility requires at least 50% in 10+2, generally with any stream. However, candidates with commerce and science are also eligible to pursue the course. Admission to BA Hons Education is based on CUET UG merit. Students have to appear in exam and obtain a valid score. Most universities accept CUET UG to grant admission to BA Education Hons course.
