UKSEE 2025 is a gateway for aspiring students who want to pursue various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Uttarakhand. However, the exam was scrapped in 2023. So now admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses takes place through the national-level entrance exams. Candidates willing to pursue a B.Tech course in Uttarakhand must possess a valid JEE Main 2025. UKSEE 2025 admissions will commence in April 2025, under the administration of Veer Madho Singh Bhandari Uttarakhand Technical University (UTU). 

Candidates who want to be admitted through UKSEE 2025 must have finished their Class 12 or equivalent with a minimum of 45% marks. However, this minimum mark requirement may vary from college to college. Some of the top colleges accepting UKSEE scores include Dehradun Institute of Technology and Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, and Kumaon Engineering College. Applicants who are seeking admission to B.Tech Courses must note that JEE Main 2025 dates have been already announced. NTA will conduct the JEE Main 2025 Paper on January 22 and it will be continued till January 29, 2025. JEE Main 2025 Paper 2 will be conducted on January 30, 2025.

UKSEE 2025 Admission Eligibility Criteria

General Eligibility
  • Applicants must hold a domicile certificate of Uttarakhand state.
  • Candidates who have completed or are appearing for their qualifying exam in other states but possess a Uttarakhand domicile are also eligible.
  • Students who have passed their qualifying exam from the Uttarakhand Technical Board or Universities can also apply.

Course-Specific Eligibility

B.Pharma
  • Qualification: Candidates must have completed Class 12th from a recognized board.
  • Marks: At least 45% marks for the general category (40% for reserved categories).
  • Subjects: Must have studied Physics and Chemistry, along with Biology/Mathematics/Biotechnology.
B.Tech (Lateral Entry)
  • Qualification: Candidates must have completed a three-year or two-year diploma course from an AICTE-approved institute.
  • Marks: Minimum of 45% marks for general category (40% for reserved categories).
  • Subjects: Mathematics is a compulsory subject in the qualifying examination.
MBA
  • Qualification: Must hold a Bachelor's degree.

M.Pharm

Eligibility Criteria for JEE Main 2025

Candidates who will apply based on JEE Main 2025 Score must check the eligibility criteria: Age Limit: There is no age restriction for applicants.

  • Qualifying Exam: Candidates must have completed or be appearing for Class 12 or an equivalent examination.
  • Year of Passing the Qualifying Exam: Eligible candidates are those who have passed their qualifying examination in 2023, 2024, or are appearing in 2025.
  • Subject Criteria: For JEE Main Paper 1 (BTech) candidates must have studied Physics and Mathematics as mandatory subjects, along with one additional subject from Chemistry, Biology, or a Technical Vocational subject. For JEE Main Paper 2A (BArch): Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics are required as compulsory subjects in Class 12. Similarly for JEE Main Paper 2B (BPlan), athematics must be a compulsory subject in Class 12.
  • Percentage of Marks: Candidates must secure a minimum of 75% marks in Class 12 or rank in the top 20 percentile of their board exams to be eligible for admission.
  • Number of Attempts: Candidates are allowed to attempt JEE Main six times over three consecutive years following their Class 12 or equivalent examination. They can appear for the exam twice each year.

Note: For MBA admission candidates must have a valid CAT 2025, and NMAT 2025 scorecard. At the same time, candidates must meet the above-mentioned eligibility criteria for MBA admission.
