CUET UG 2025: Registration Begins, Exam Dates Announced, Check Details Here

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially begun the registration process for the NTA CUET UG 2025. Candidates appearing in the exam can now apply through cuet.nta.nic.in. The registration window will remain open till March 22, 2025. For registration candidates belonging to the general category must pay INR 1000 while OBC candidates need to pay INR 900. The CUET 2025 exam will take place across 37 states & UTs and 24 foreign countries. NTA will hold the exam between May 8 and June 1. Once the registration concludes, the conducting authority will open the correction window between March 24 and March 26, 2025.

How to Apply for CUET UG 2025

Candidates can complete their registration through the official CUET website by following these steps:

  1. Visit the official website of CUET UG 2025 at cuet.nta.nic.in.
  2. Click on the registration link and create a new user account.
  3. Fill in the application form with personal details, academic information, and contact details.
  4. Upload required documents, including scanned photographs, signatures, and category certificates (if applicable).
  5. Pay the application fee online using a credit/debit card, UPI, or net banking.
  6. Submit the form and take a printout of the confirmation page for future reference.

CUET UG 2025 Application Fees

CUET UG 2025 application fees differ across categories and the number of subjects chosen.

  • For General (UR) candidates, the fee is INR 1000 for up to three subjects, with an additional INR 400 per subject.
  • OBC-NCL and EWS candidates need to pay INR 900 for up to three subjects, with INR 375 for each additional subject.
  • SC, ST, PwBD, and Third Gender candidates have to pay INR 800 for up to three subjects, with INR 350 for each extra subject.
  • Candidates opting for exam centers outside India need to pay INR 4500 for up to three subjects and INR 1800 per additional subject.

CUET UG 2025: Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the exam candidates must meet the CUET UG 2025 Eligibility criteria:

  • Candidates must have completed Class 12 from a recognized board in Science or a relevant stream to be eligible for undergraduate programs in Central Universities.
  • Students appearing for their Class 12 board exams in 2025 can also apply for CUET 2025.
  • There is no specific age limit to appear for the CUET 2025 exam.
  • However, candidates must meet the age requirements (if any) set by the university or institution they are applying to.
  • To be eligible for CUET 2025, candidates must meet the nationality criteria.
  • Applicants must be Indian citizens.
  • Citizens of Nepal or Bhutan are also eligible.
  • Tibetan refugees who arrived in India before January 1, 1962, and have settled permanently can apply.
  • Candidates who have migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, or Vietnam to settle in India permanently are eligible.
