Admission: The teachers at Aliah University are really nice and helpful. They always make sure we understand everything. Plus, the exam fees here in West Bengal are quite low compared to other colleges just about 6k per semester. The exams are a bit tough, but if you study well, passing is totally doable.
Placement: I loved studying mechanical engineering here because most students landed jobs after graduation with salaries around 30k+. Big companies like Pinnacle, RDC Cement, and Tega Industries hire students from our department. The Training and Placement Office (TPO) really helped us out. Almost every student does an internship, which is awesome for gaining experience.
Campus: The hostel here is awesome! The food is good and the atmosphere is great. They have Wi-Fi in both the hostels and the college. I really enjoyed the lab activities the most. It was really interesting. The canteen food is good, but it could be better with some improvements. Plus, we have a badminton court and a kabaddi court, which is cool.

Admission: The teachers know their stuff, but they're not great at explaining things. The classes in the beginning don't seem very useful, but they get better towards the end. The exams are tough, but if you study for a month before, you'll be okay. You just need 35% to pass.
Placement: Most students in my course got placed, around 70%. The highest package was 12 LPA and the lowest was 3 LPA, with an average of 4.5 LPA. Amazon, Cognizant, and TCS are big names that hired students. A quarter of students got placed in top companies.
Campus: The classrooms don't have AC or smart boards, but the library has good infrastructure despite no AC. The labs also lack action and the infrastructure isn't great. The food in the hostel is okay, but the canteen food is good. They offer sports like cricket and football, but no e-games.

Admission: The teachers at this college are really awesome. They know their stuff and teach in a cool way that helps all kinds of students, whether you're just okay or super smart. The stuff they teach is really useful for getting a job later. The exams are a bit tough, but if you study hard and listen to your teachers, you can do well.
Placement: Aliah University is known for being a Technical University that teaches a lot of STEM subjects at the graduate and postgraduate levels. They also have Ph.D. programs in different subjects. The institute has a good placement record. They have a special team to help students get jobs in engineering and STEM fields. Every year, a high number of students get placed in big companies like Infosys, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, and Cognizant.
Campus: The hostels here are awesome! There's one for boys and one for girls. The boys' hostel is super tall with 21 floors, and the girls' one has 17 floors. The rooms are big and always clean. Plus, there are plenty of elevators to make moving around easy. The library is another cool spot on campus. It's in its own building and has tons of books for all subjects. You can get Wi-Fi in the library and even in the main building. Besides that, there's a medical center on campus for emergencies, lots of space to play sports like cricket, football, and badminton, and a canteen for food. It's a great place to be!

Admission: Most of the teachers here are Bengali, but some struggle with English. They are smart and know their stuff, but their teaching could be better. The course material doesn't feel very useful in the first two years of B.Tech (CSE). It's weird that there's no computer-related stuff at first, just "Indian Constitution." On the bright side, the semester exams are fair, and you only need 35% to pass.
Placement: Around half of the students in the CSE program get jobs every year. The placement head isn't that helpful. In 2024, the highest salary was 11 LPA, and the lowest was 2.4 LPA. TCS, Wipro, and Cognizant hire from here. Not many students land internships, only about 4 or 5.
Campus: The wifi is only in the main building and library. The classrooms are spacious and have projectors, but no air conditioning. Labs are good for most subjects. The library has computers and lots of books. Hostel rooms are decent, food in the mess hall is okay, but canteen food is awesome. There's a medical facility for emergencies. Only cricket and football are played for sports, no online gaming tournaments.

Admission: I'm really happy with the course I'm taking. I wanted a university with good professors, and I found it here. The teachers are nice and helpful. I'm glad I chose this university.
Placement: At Aliah University, they have lots of campus placements to help students get good jobs and be ready for the industry. The average salary for campus placements is about 3 lakhs per year. It's a great way to kickstart your career and grow in the future.
Campus: The campus is really nice and chill, with big classrooms that have good air. Our school sets up cool stuff to help out the community, like projects in rural areas and a program run by teachers where we get involved.

Admission: The teachers here really care about us students. They're always there to help out. The course prepares us well for the job market. Exams are fair if you know your stuff, you can ace them.
Placement: Most students from the engineering department get placed, around 90%. The highest salary package is 50 LPA, while the average is 5 LPA. Big companies like Amazon, TCS, IBM, and Infosys come for recruitment. The main roles students get are software engineer and system engineer. Almost all students land internships in their 7th semester, with companies like Physics Wallah.
Campus: The college has 4 computer labs, a networking lab, and a hardware lab with good AC. The classrooms are clean and comfortable with good boards. The hostels feel like staying in a 3-star hotel. There's a 20-floor building for boys and a 14-floor building for girls. The hostel even has a canteen. The medical and sports facilities are good too.

Admission: The Physics faculty at our college are really smart, with lots of them having Ph.D.s. They know a lot about things like theoretical Physics, astrophysics, and quantum mechanics. The teachers are helpful and know their stuff. But the exams are tough and the courses focus a lot on getting us ready for industry.
Placement: I heard that a good number of B.Sc. Physics grads usually find jobs after finishing college, like around 3050%. They might start off making about INR 3-5 LPA, mainly in teaching or lab jobs. Also, many postgrad Physics students get internships, like 5070%. I've heard they can go into different fields too, especially with the mix of subjects getting more common.
Campus: The classrooms have projectors, whiteboards, and comfy seats which make learning easy. The labs are modern and have everything you need for physics experiments like optics, electromagnetism, and quantum mechanics. They even have computers for analyzing data. Wi-Fi is super fast all over campus, so you can easily get research papers and course materials online. The library has lots of physics books and journals. The rooms are nice with beds, desks, storage, and fans. Everything you need is right there!

Admission: The MCA program is great for getting ready for the IT industry. We learn programming languages like Java, Python, and C++. We also study data structures, algorithms, and databases. Plus, we cover software engineering and development methods, web tech, and mobile apps. Some schools set up internships and workshops with industry partners. Others focus more on theory. A good MCA program gives us lots of hands-on experience to prepare us for jobs in software dev, IT consulting, and data management.
Placement: Around half of the students in our course got jobs last year. The pay ranges from 2.2 to 7 lakhs per year. Companies like TCS, Wipro, and Tech Mahindra hire a lot of students from here. Unfortunately, the university doesn't help with internships. Most students end up as web developers after graduating.
Campus: The hostels here are kept clean and have everything you need: - Wi-Fi in the rooms - You can choose to live alone or with roommates - They provide beds, study tables, and wardrobes The sports facilities are awesome: - There are outdoor fields for football, cricket, and running - You can play basketball, volleyball, tennis, and badminton - Inside, you can play table tennis, chess, and carrom - And there's a gym with all the workout stuff you need - They also have cool sports events every year and compete with other colleges.

Admission: I'm a first-year student and my main course hasn't begun yet, but I can tell you that we have 17 faculty members in my batch, and they are really good. The curriculum is tough, but it's all about learning things that matter in the industry. The teachers here push us to get internships, which is cool. Passing exams in my batch is manageable because the teachers are helpful. But I've heard electrical engineering students might struggle a bit more with their semester exams, they're not a walk in the park.
Placement: Being a freshman, I can say around half the students here end up getting jobs. The highest salary offered is about 10 LPA, with the usual ones being 3.5 LPA and 4.5 LPA. Companies like Wipro, Cognizant, Amazon, TCS, and Infosys are the popular choices for hiring.
Campus: The Wi-Fi works in the hostel and for staff. Some classrooms have projectors, which is cool. The canteen is nice, but the mess isn't that great. The sports facilities are okay; they have a ground with nets for cricket, basketball, and football. The swimming pool is dirty right now, but they might clean it if we ask. Right now, they don't have console gaming competitions, but that might change in the future.

Admission: The teachers here are really smart and come from big universities like IIM, AMU, JU, Xavier's, and IIT. They help us a lot and are easy to talk to when we have questions. The stuff we learn is perfect for getting ready to work. We have two semesters every year with tough tests. Most students pass with about 90%.
Placement: The placements here are pretty good. Most students, around 60%, get jobs right on campus. The rest go off-campus to find work. The highest salary is about 10 lakhs per year, the lowest is 2.5 lakhs, and most people get around 5-6 lakhs. Companies like Wipro, TCS, RDC Concrete, and Piramal Finance hire a lot of students. Everyone gets an internship, mostly in marketing, with some in finance and HR.
Campus: The campus has great facilities. We get free Wi-Fi in both campus and hostel. The library is air-conditioned and has all the books we need for our courses. Each classroom has a projector. The hostel is super close, just 100 meters away. And it has a football ground, gym, swimming pool, and a chill-out area.
