Admission: The teachers at our college were really smart and they shared a lot with us. They were all IIT grads. The course we took was great and got us ready for the industry. The exams weren't too hard, just like regular diploma exams. About half of us passed each semester.

Placement: A good chunk of us, around a quarter, got placed out of a group of 24 students. Some of us went for private jobs, while others waited for the college placements. The salaries ranged from 1.5 LPA to whatever you could negotiate during the interview.

Campus: The college infrastructure wasn't great because it was old. The management was working on building new and modern facilities. There were three hostels: one for mining students, another called Satyen Bose Hostel, and a girls' hostel.

Admission: The teachers at our college were awesome! They knew their stuff and were really funny. The semester exams weren't too tough if you showed up to class. About 30% of students passed. The course material was spot on. Plus, we had dedicated faculty for sports too.

Placement: Our group did really well academically. Around 70% of us got jobs after finishing this course. Big companies like Shyam Steel came to hire from our college.

Campus: The college had everything we needed. There was Wi-Fi for everyone. The classrooms, lab, and library were all top-notch. Boys and girls could stay in the hostel. They even had medical help on campus. Food was just okay.

Admission: The teachers here are super talented and really helpful. They're great at teaching and interacting with us. But the curriculum activities don't really match up with our electrical engineering course. And let's not forget how tough the semester exams are, like they always are.

Placement: Around 70% of students in electrical engineering get placed every year. Companies offer average packages ranging from 1 lakh to 4 lakhs per year. Unfortunately, no students from our college got internships in 2022.

Campus: The college campus has everything you need like hostels, playgrounds, clean labs, and classrooms. The library is well-kept too. Only downside is there's no Wi-Fi. The hostel is great with good food and even free Wi-Fi. Overall, it's a solid place to study.

Admission: The college has awesome facilities and really knowledgeable professors. The classroom study is top-notch since it's a government college. The Practical Workshop is really motivating. Most students pass exams easily, around 98%. The exams are tough, though, so you gotta study hard.

Placement: I got placed in Jindal Steel & Power, Odisha. Around 20-25 students from my electrical engineering branch get placed every year. The placement here is pretty good compared to other government polytechnics in West Bengal. This college is well-known for mining studies in Asansol and is the oldest mining college in West Bengal. About 95% of students here get placed in mining, mining services, and metallurgy. The highest package offered is 4 LPA, with most freshers getting between 1.9 LPA to 3.9 LPA. We have great professors and top-notch facilities here. Companies like JSPL, JSW, L&T, and others come for campus placements. We also get internships at places like NPTI Durgapur and CMRI Durgapur. The college encourages us to go for further courses like DPL and DSP. I'm proud to be a student here!

Campus: The college has good infrastructure, with air-conditioned rooms for final year students. It's easy to get in by scoring well on the JEXPO exam. There's a big library, practice lab, and a large practical workshop. The campus also has a big playground for games. The canteen is decent, but the hostel could be cleaner. Overall, I feel positive about studying here and see a bright future ahead.

Admission: The teachers here are awesome! They get along well with us students, which is cool. Their teaching is top-notch. But the course curriculum isn't that great. The exams each semester are pretty tough. You gotta study every day to do well.

Placement: I'm in the electrical engineering program, and last year about 30% to 40% of us found jobs. The average salary was around 1.5 LPA. Unfortunately, none of us landed internships, but I heard one student did become a junior engineer.

Campus: The college has a good environment and infrastructure. They offer great academic facilities. There's free Wi-Fi and nice classrooms. The labs are well-kept. The library could be cleaner though. Hostel services are good too.

Admission: The course curriculum isn't that useful. The teachers are super qualified and really connect with us students. They know their stuff and are always there to support us mentally and keep us motivated. The exams are a bit tough, though.

Placement: The top companies that come for hiring are Balaji, Shyam Sel, ITC, Reshmi, Maithan, and Shyam Steel. Unfortunately, none of the students in our college got internships. Around 70% of students in electrical engineering get placed every year. The most common job offered is junior engineer.

Campus: The hostel is okay, but the facilities could be better. The food in the hostel is fine. Classrooms are really nice. Labs are great and the library is good too. There aren't many sports activities on campus, but there's a good playground for those who like sports.

Admission: The teachers at our college are really helpful and super knowledgeable. They're top-notch at what they do. But the course activities are not that interesting. The semester exams are tough, just like in other polytechnic colleges.

Placement: I'm really happy with the placements in our electrical engineering program at college. Around 70% of students landed awesome jobs like field engineer, junior engineer, and senior engineer. The top companies that hire us are Jindal and Jai Balaji. It's great to see so many of us getting good jobs after graduation.

Campus: The college has great infrastructure with well-maintained classrooms, good labs, and a nice library. Unfortunately, there's no Wi-Fi in the college area. But there's a hostel with medical facilities and food services which is pretty convenient.

Admission: The course curriculum isn't super relevant, but the teachers are really helpful and know their stuff. They're like friends to all of us. The semester exams are pretty easy for those who attend classes regularly. You just need a 40% to pass.

Placement: Around 40% to 60% of students in our group landed jobs at some great companies both in West Bengal and outside. Unfortunately, none of us found internships in electrical engineering. The top companies that hired from our college were Balaji, Shyam Steel, and Reshmi TMT.

Campus: The Wi-Fi here isn't great, but the classrooms are top-notch. The labs are okay, and the library is well-organized. The hostel fees are super affordable and come with everything you need, like medical and food services.

Admission: Passing in this course is at 30 out of 100. If you go to class regularly, the semester exams aren't too tough. The curriculum doesn't really match our main subject. The teachers are smart, but their teaching could be better.

Placement: This year, most students landed jobs in core companies. Some even pursued further studies while working. The main core companies that recruited students were ITC, Shyam Sel, Mithan Steel, Jai Balaji, and Reshmi. However, there were no internships available, and no students were able to secure an internship from any company.

Campus: The campus isn't too bad because we have everything we need like transportation, medical help, and food options. Even the hostels have everything we need. We get free Wi-Fi, good labs, and classrooms. The library could use an upgrade though.

Admission: The teachers here know their stuff and are really qualified. They teach in a modern way. The course covers things that are up-to-date. We get hands-on training with companies like DPL. The semesters can be tough, but it's worth it. There are opportunities with BSF for security jobs. You need to pass with over 60%.

Placement: Only around 10% of students end up getting placed after graduation. The highest salary offered is 3.84 lakhs per year, while the lowest is 1.92 lakhs per year. Companies like JSW, Gainwell, and L&T come for placements. For government sector jobs, the top role is Junior Engineer. Students usually start with lower positions in other sectors before moving up. Don't expect high-profile jobs right away.

Campus: The campus has good labs with all the equipment you need. The library has a nice collection of books. Some labs could use better instruments though. There's no mess or canteen, and no medical facilities on campus. But they have all the gear for cricket and football, and the cricket ground is pretty nice.
