Admission: The teachers are really nice and helpful here. They care about us and make sure we understand everything. The exams are okay, mostly from ASTU. Some subjects are a bit old-fashioned, but overall, the courses are good. The student-teacher ratio is high, but the connection between us is great. Some students struggle with exams, but others do really well.

Placement: Once we hit the seventh semester, we start getting job offers on campus. There are over 50 cool companies like Bajaj, LG, and Tata that come to our college for placements. The highest salary this year for chemical engineering was 24 LPA! The average salary is around 10-12 LPA, which is pretty good. More than 60% of students get placed, and some even start their own businesses. Lots of us also get internships from big companies. I'm not sure about the exact percentage of students who land internships, though.

Campus: The labs are okay, they have what you need but nothing too fancy. Some spots on campus have free Wi-Fi which is cool. The library is nice, lots of different books there. The hostel rooms are decent, you share with one other person. Bathrooms are clean too. The food in the mess isn't the best, but they have both veg and non-veg options. For non-veg, you can get chicken or fish. The canteen has good food too and a big dining area. College week has tons of sports activities going on which is fun.

Admission: The professors at Assam Engineering College really know their stuff. They teach us everything we need to know about our subjects. I heard they even added some new courses to keep up with the latest technology trends. The end-semester exams can be a bit challenging for a few subjects, but if you study smart by practicing old question papers, you can definitely pass.

Placement: At Assam Engineering College, around half of the students find jobs every year. Companies like Indian Oil, NRL, and APL hire a lot from here. The courses they offer are great for anyone into technology.

Campus: The hostel at Assam Engineering College is nice for both guys and girls. There are more seats for guys than girls though. The food in the hostel is good. They've got a nice field for playing too.

Admission: The teachers here really know their stuff. They're all super smart - like, Ph.D. level smart! Even the assistant professors have master's degrees. The exams are not too hard, which helps us think more logically. It's a great learning environment!

Placement: I'm really happy with how many students from our college got placed in companies. The salary range was between 6 LPA and 17 LPA. We had companies like Wipro, OIL, and NRL come for placements. It's cool that all 3rd-year students get internship offers from different government PSUs.

Campus: The courses have good facilities, but they're a bit old-fashioned. The hostels are also pretty old. The food is decent. The Wi-fi is better in the main campus and classrooms than in the hostels.

Admission: The teachers here are awesome! They really know their stuff. The courses make sense and are up-to-date. Exams aren't too hard to pass. Around 60% of students pass, but some struggle with Math. Overall, it prepares us well for the industry.

Placement: Most of us got placed in our college, which is great. The best offer was 24 LPA from PSU NRL. The lowest was around 3-4 LPA from mass recruitment companies. TVS Motors, NRL, APDCL, and companies like Cognizant and Vedanta are the top recruiters here. We all get internships after our exams for some experience, but they're not paid. It's a good way to learn though.

Campus: The Wi-Fi is good, and the labs are nice. The classrooms are well-kept. The food in the hostels isn't great, but the sports facilities are good. The campus has nice grounds, but they could use more funds from the government to make improvements.

Admission: The teachers all have Ph.Ds and know their stuff. They're good at talking with students. There's about 1 teacher for every 20 students. They're always ready to help with any questions. We usually have 2 exams each semester one in the middle and one at the end.

Placement: Around half the students here get jobs each year. The top salary offered is around 24 LPA, while the lowest is about 5 LPA. Companies such as BARC, NRL, and BHEL come for placements. We also get internship chances through AICTE, including ones related to our courses.

Campus: The civil engineering department here has Wi-Fi and a library that you can use 24/7. The classrooms are all set up with digital stuff. They can fit around 120 students in each class. The college has hostels with water and electricity. The food in the mess is pretty good and the place is clean.

Admission: The teachers in my department are super experienced, with over 15 years of teaching under their belt. Most of them have Ph.Ds from top universities like IITs. The teaching is good, but it could be more up-to-date. The semester exams aren't too hard; if you keep up with your studies, you can get a good CGPA. However, the pass rate isn't that great.

Placement: I'm a student at Assam Engineering College. I heard from a senior that the placement rate isn't super high, but around half of the students get jobs each year. Companies like Wipro and TCS visit for placements, along with PSUs like ONGC and IOCL. The average salary is 7 lakh, and the highest so far was 24 lakh for a chemical branch student.

Campus: In my department, we have modern lab facilities and our own library. There's Wi-Fi available too. But as a student living in the hostel, I have to say the facilities aren't great. The food in the mess is really bad and we don't even have enough tables and chairs. It's not up to the mark.

Admission: I really like the teaching at Assam Engineering College. The professors know their stuff and the courses get you ready for work. The exams are fair, not too hard. I don't know how many students pass, though.

Placement: The job placements at Assam Engineering College are pretty good. Last year, the highest salary offered was 24 lakhs per year, and the lowest was 3 lakhs. Even students studying Civil Engineering can get up to 18 lakhs per year, which is awesome. Companies like Capgemini and Vedanta recruit students from here.

Campus: Assam Engineering College is the oldest engineering college in Northeast India, so the buildings aren't super modern. But the classrooms and hostels are nice. The food here is pretty good too.

Admission: The teachers at AEC are really good. They're always there to help us out. The course is designed well to help us succeed. We do presentations and public speaking to prepare for our future jobs. Exams are fair, you can pass by studying the course material.

Placement: Around half the students get placed in campus placements each year. The highest package this year is 18 Lacs, while the average is around 50,000-60,000. Our college attracts lots of PSUs and oil companies for recruitment. And students also have opportunities to do internships.

Campus: The hostels are pretty good, but they could be better. Wi-Fi is in all the hostels. First-year students have their own hostel. The food is okay. They do a fun hostel fest at the end of each month with lots of yummy dishes. They also celebrate events and pujas in the hostels.
