Admission: The teachers at our college are just okay. It can be tough to pass exams because they're not very helpful. They don't really go out of their way to help students either.
Placement: The job opportunities after college are not great. Only a few companies come for placements, and the salaries they offer are quite low.
Campus: The infrastructure at our college is really bad. The labs are not proper and classrooms have pigeons. The playground is very small. The labs are in bad shape and some equipment doesn't even work. The canteen is also not good.

Admission: The teachers at our college are really experienced and the chairman is super focused on giving us a great education. A few teachers are new, but they know their stuff. The experienced teachers always encourage us to pursue further studies. The bond between teachers and students is awesome, and the teachers are always there to help us out.
Placement: A lot of students, like 75-80%, land jobs in big companies worldwide every year. Toyota, Infosys, and Bearys Group are the top recruiters. Salaries offered are usually between 6 to 10 LPA.
Campus: The college's infrastructure is really nice. The academic building is green and the library has a lot of books. What makes our college stand out is the aerodynamics lab. It's something you don't see in many colleges in Karnataka. BIT Mangalore provides all the basic things you need. And if you need anything else, the management is super supportive.

Admission: When I first started, the teachers were really smart and had lots of experience. Now, most of the teachers are new. They said we have a football/cricket field, but no one seems to know about it. I think they should talk about it more so we can actually use it.
Placement: I'm a civil student here and tbh, not many companies come for placements. The Bearys group, owned by the chairman, usually hires civil students. But the pay is super low and they take forever to pay us. Some of us even get job offers but turn them down because of the low salary. Honestly, don't even consider joining this college. You'll see what I mean eventually.
Campus: The Wi-Fi at this college is pretty much useless because they don't share the password. The labs and classrooms are not up to par at all they're worse than a regular primary school. And forget about sports, there's not even a proper ground for that. The college shouldn't make false promises about free Wi-Fi, international hostel, library, and labs.

Admission: The teachers at this college are really good at what they do. They help us a lot and make learning easy. We also get mentors who check on us regularly. Exams aren't too tough, and if we have questions, the teachers are always there to help out.
Placement: Most students in our course land jobs every year, around 80-90%. The pay ranges from 3 lakhs to 25 lakhs per year, with an average of 14 lakhs. Big companies like Amazon, IBM, and Accenture come to hire us. Many students also get internships from different companies.
Campus: The college has good infrastructure with Wi-Fi, smart boards, a big campus, playground, gym, indoor games, badminton court, and basketball court. The hostel security is great and the food is good. We also have two canteens and sports events where everyone can join any game.

Admission: I was in the civil engineering program, and I really liked the atmosphere there. The instructors were friendly and always finished teaching everything. On the other hand, the computer science department had the worst teachers. They were always behind on the syllabus, and exams followed VTU guidelines.
Placement: The placement scene at this college is not good at all. I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for good job placements. The person in charge of placements is not very helpful. They claim to have 100% placements, but in reality, only a handful of students out of a batch of 500 actually get placed.
Campus: The building here is really nice. They just finished a new building, where I did an internship. It looks great and is high quality. I don't have any complaints about the company. The only downside is that the staff here could do better.

Admission: The faculty here are really experienced. Our chairman is all about giving us top-notch education. Some teachers are new, but they know their stuff. The experienced ones always push us to aim for more studies. I've had awesome experiences with them and we have a great bond. All departments' faculty are super helpful. If the library doesn't have what you need, they'll find it elsewhere for you. We have daily aerodynamics research activities. Learning fluid mechanics here is top-notch.
Placement: I've been studying at Bearys Institute of Technology since 2009. The teachers here are a mix of new and experienced, which is cool. When it comes to placements, it's a bit of a mixed bag. But our placement officer and chairman put in a lot of effort to get students into good companies. Every year, big names like HGS, TCS, and HCL come to campus looking to hire students.
Campus: The college's infrastructure is really cool, especially the green academic building. The library has all the latest books, and we even have an aerodynamics lab that makes BIT Bangalore stand out in Karnataka. They provide all the basics you need, and if you want more, the management is super helpful.

Admission: The way they teach here is good, and most students pass their classes. Our college gives us the right support and facilities. The campus is clean and helps us concentrate on our studies. It's a good place to focus and learn.
Placement: The placement opportunities at our college are really good. We have a bunch of companies coming from all over the state to offer us internships and jobs. Big names like TCS, Wipro, and Bosch come to our campus for recruitment drives. It's a great way to kickstart your career!
Campus: The classrooms are set up for different things, like labs and all. They've got Wi-Fi in the labs and a computer for everyone. The seats are arranged nicely. Plus, they've got hostels and a canteen.

Admission: The teachers know their stuff, but they could be more helpful. I feel like we need to learn more about real-world stuff. The semester was okay, but the grades we get are lower than other schools. They don't finish teaching everything on time; they rush at the end and skip reviewing.
Placement: In 2023, only one student got placed last year. It's hard to say how many students will get placed this year, but you can guess from past years. Not many new companies are coming for recruitment. Many students are paying for internships, but it's not clear what roles they're getting. There aren't many companies recruiting here; they usually team up with other colleges, so students have to go elsewhere for interviews.
Campus: The labs don't have all the necessary stuff and they don't handle rain well. Food in the canteen isn't great, and that's a big issue for lots of students. We do have a cool indoor game area that we use once a week, but the network coverage is pretty bad.

Admission: The teachers are okay, but we mostly have to work on our skills by ourselves. Some teachers aren't very experienced or knowledgeable, so the teaching quality is just okay. They mainly care about finishing the syllabus, which isn't always helpful. However, there are a few really good teachers who can guide us if we reach out to them.
Placement: Around 30-50% of students usually get placed here. Companies like Expertise, Infosys, Wipro, and Spider come for placements. The highest salary offered was 12LPA, while the lowest was 3-5LPA. Popular job roles are software developer, front end, and back end developer.
Campus: The Wi-Fi here is not great. Each course has its own labs. The classrooms change every semester. The food in the mess and canteen is pretty good. Boys are into sports more than girls. Girls who want to play at state or national level might want to look elsewhere.

Admission: The education at our college is top-notch. The professors here are really nice. The exams are not too hard, and we get question papers from VTU. The curriculum prepares us well for the industry. We also have practical sessions which are helpful. Overall, the teaching is great.
Placement: I'm happy with the placements at our college. Companies like Amazon, Byjus, and Bosch come here to hire students. The college gives us great support for interviews and helps us with resumes. Even international companies come here for recruitment. It's been a good experience overall.
Campus: I really like our college's vibe. We have everything in one place - hostel, mess, library, and labs. The food is tasty and made just the way we like it. The hostel is affordable and rooms are comfy with lots of space for our stuff. They even have tea and snacks at reasonable prices. The library and labs are always open and well-equipped. It's a great place to study and hang out with friends.
