Admission: The professors really help us not just with our classwork but also with other stuff. They make sure we understand everything. The courses are good for learning practical things. The exams can be tough, but you only need 35% to pass each semester.
Placement: At Bhilai Institute of Technology, Durg, the starting salary is around 4-6 LPA, which is cool. About 60% of us from our branch have already landed jobs. Companies like TCS, Accenture, Flipkart, and more come to recruit us. Some of us even got internships at IITs or NITs and earned some money. It's a good place to kickstart your career!
Campus: The college has really good labs with all the equipment we need. Each classroom has a projector too. The Wi-Fi in labs and classrooms is fast. The food in the mess isn't that great, but the canteen is awesome. If you get sick or hurt, there's a medical room for you.

Admission: The teachers and staff at Bhilai institute of technology are really experienced and know their stuff. They take their subjects seriously, especially the HODs of each department. The course is all about getting you ready for the industry. Every semester covers topics like smart manufacturing and artificial intelligence. Exams are split into three parts: CT1, CT2, and the semester exam. Each semester has 5 units, split into 2 and 3. The questions in the exams are based on class notes and assignments, so it's not too hard if you study. If you put in the effort, you can easily score between 8 to 9.5 CGPA.
Placement: The job placements at Bhilai Institute of Technology are pretty good. The highest salary offered was around 16 Lakhs, while the average salary is about 5 Lakhs per year. Different companies like TCS, Wipro, and others visit our campus for placements. BIT students don't get internships directly from the college, but they can find good internships with the help of faculty. It's a good place to kickstart your career!
Campus: The rooms and hostels are spacious and well-ventilated, but they need better maintenance. The Wi-Fi connects the hostels and labs. The library at Bhilai Institute of Technology is huge and has about 56,000 books. Each department also has its own library. Boys and girls have separate hostels. The mess hall is on-campus and serves good, clean, and filling food. There's even a clinic in the hostel for any medical needs.

Admission: The teachers here are really friendly and know their stuff. Some of them are outstanding, especially the senior ones who have tons of experience. Overall, the teaching is good, but I think they could make it even better by using more engaging methods.
Placement: Placements for core branches like electrical, mechanical, and civil engineering haven't been great since the Coronavirus. I'm pretty disappointed with how things are going this year. It seems like every company coming in is only offering jobs in CS and IT.
Campus: The building is pretty old and not all classrooms have smart technology. They should really upgrade it. The campus is nice with lots of greenery. The food is decent, not amazing, but good enough.

Admission: The teachers at BIT are great, but they follow an outdated curriculum from CSVTU. The college itself is the best in Bhilai/Durg and one of the top ones in Chhattisgarh, excluding NITs, IITs, and IIITs. It would be nice to see some improvements in the curriculum, but that's not really BIT's fault it's all on CSVTU.
Placement: Around 19% of students from my course got placed in 2024. The highest salary was like 8-9 LPA, while the lowest was around 2-3 LPA. Big companies like Cognizant, Wipro, and Tech Mahindra come for placements. You gotta hustle to find internships, but there's support for it. A lot of students prefer going for higher studies instead of taking the job offers. GATE results are pretty solid at this college.
Campus: The classrooms and labs are good, but they need to fix the fans for summers. Right now, they're just for show. My favorite spot on campus is the library. It's got tons of books and Wi-Fi. The library looks amazing, and they even have coolers for the summer. The boys' hostel is okay, but the girls' hostel is outside campus and not great. It's better to find a private hostel or PG. The food in the mess is decent. Overall, it's a good choice for a budget-friendly college option.

Admission: The teachers at BIT are helpful, but they can be strict about attendance. We have practicals and classes regularly, which is good. What I like the most is that the course curriculum is well-organized and we finish the syllabus on time.
Placement: The job placements are okay, with the best packages going to CS/IT students. On average, everyone gets around 4-6 Lacs. The highest package was 12 LPA for CSE students. The overall placement rate is about 30%, which is decent for all branches.
Campus: The building and hostel aren't as fancy as private colleges. The hostel rooms are pretty run-down because the college is old, so cleanliness can be a problem. They do have Wi-Fi and RO water though. The labs and classrooms are better maintained than in other mid-level colleges.

Admission: The professors here are all Ph.Ds and really know their stuff. They make learning easy to understand, which is awesome. The semester exams are worth 1000 marks in total for the whole year. You get grades based on your own progress, so you gotta work for them. Overall, they do a good job teaching here.
Placement: Placement isn't a sure thing, but it's more about what you can do. The placement scene is better than most colleges. The average package is around 7 Lacs a year, with the lowest being 3 Lacs. Companies like Wipro and TCS Digital come for placements often.
Campus: The college's infrastructure is a bit old, but it's a really prestigious place. The faculty here is amazing, but you gotta attend classes. They even have Wi-Fi in the hostels and a library. The courses are great, so definitely give them a shot. To get in, you'll need to take the CG PET exam.

Admission: The teachers at my college are really great. They have either an MTech or PhD degree, which is awesome. They are super helpful and always support us to do well in our career.
Placement: A lot of students got placed in my batch. The lowest salary offered was 4.5 lakhs, while the highest was 14 lakhs. Companies like Amazon, Google, and Flipkart came for placements. You need a CGPA above 7.5 and you have to give JEE Main and PET exams to get in. I think this college is great with awesome placement chances.
Campus: I really like my college. It's awesome! There are plenty of open areas with lots of greenery. We've got everything we need here wifi, a hostel, a canteen, and even a medical center. Plus, they've got sports facilities, and there are always events happening on campus. It's a great place to be!

Admission: The teachers here are really good they know their stuff and make learning interesting. The course is practical and prepares you for the real world. Exams are fair as long as you keep up with your studies. Most students pass with flying colors, around 80-90%. The notes and support you get are super helpful.
Placement: I'm happy to say that most students from our course get placed, about 60% of them. The highest salary offered was 42 LPA, the lowest was 4 LPA, and the average was 6 LPA. Majority of students also land internships, around 70%. Some of the big companies that come for placements are Microsoft, TCS, and others. They offer roles like software developer, data analyst, and system engineer.
Campus: I love my college because it has modern classrooms, cool labs, fast Wi-Fi, and a huge library. The hostel is clean and safe, and the food in the mess hall is healthy. Plus, the canteen has great food. They also have medical services and lots of sports facilities. It's a really awesome place to study and improve myself.

Admission: The teachers here are super smart and really nice. They teach in cool ways that make learning fun. Some tests are tough, but some are easy. Most students pass their exams with 70% to 80% success rate.
Placement: The college has a rule about placements no backlogs in the first year. Most students get jobs with an average pay of around 5 to 6 LPA. Big companies like Wipro, TCS, Infosys, and others hire from here. When it comes to internships, pretty much every student can intern at any company. It all depends on the student and their efforts.
Campus: The CSE department has great facilities. Classrooms have projectors and there's Wi-Fi. Plus, every student gets access to a central library. The hostel is okay, some first-year rooms have shared bathrooms while others have private ones. The food in the mess is really good. And don't forget, there's a canteen on campus too!

Admission: The teachers here are really smart and know their stuff. They explain things in a way that makes it easy to understand. And they're always there to help even after class. Plus, they give out notes and old exam papers which is super helpful. The semester test is a bit tough, though. You need to get at least 50% overall and 35% in each subject to pass.
Placement: Around 35% of us students manage to land jobs in big companies like Accenture, HP, and others. Those who do get an average salary of 4 to 5 LPA. And about 60-70% of students here get internships at different places. It's a good opportunity for gaining experience before graduating.
Campus: The college has spacious lecture halls that can fit 60 students. They also have separate labs for each subject, which is cool. The hostel rooms are okay, and the food is pretty good.
