Admission: The teachers here are really nice and know their stuff. The course outline is manageable, and the grades are fair. We have 2 quizzes worth 10 marks each, a mid-term for 25 marks, and a final exam for 50 marks. The teachers also give out 5 marks based on your class participation.
Placement: I'm in the EEE department, which focuses on electrical and electronic stuff. The teachers are super experienced and help us understand things easily. They even give us notes they made themselves. The lowest salary package for EEE is around 7 LPA that I know of. The highest package I heard of was 84 LPA when I first joined.
Campus: The college and hostels are kept really nice and clean. The food is okay. There's Wi-Fi everywhere on campus, power all the time, and we get food four times a day in the mess. When exams are on, they give out supplements for an hour at midnight. The hostel canteens are open till 3 am. The labs and classrooms have AC, projectors, and all the tech stuff we need to learn better.

Admission: The teachers at this college are really nice and they each have their own offices. They all have Ph.Ds and teach from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM with breaks in between. Classes usually last about an hour. The exams can be challenging, and they grade the papers really carefully.
Placement: Most students found jobs after graduation, which is great. The pay range for jobs varied from 8 LPA to 50 LPA. Google and Microsoft are the top companies that hire students. Around 60% of students also got internships, which is awesome. The roles offered by Birla Institute of Technology, Ranchi are pretty good. Google is one of the main companies that hire from here.
Campus: The Computer Science Engineering department has good facilities to help us learn and be creative. Classrooms have projectors and Wi-Fi, and there are labs we can use. It's cool!

Admission: The teachers here are really helpful and know their stuff well. Many of them are from IITs. The course material doesn't always match up with what's needed in the industry though. The exams each semester are okay, not too hard. Passing is doable with a 40% score for each subject.
Placement: 78% of my batch mates from 2024 got jobs. The average salary is 7 LPA. The highest was 13 LPA and the lowest was 5 LPA. Big companies like Reliance, Tata Steel, and ZS Associate hire from our course. Around 20 students got internships too. They offer roles like data analyst, GET, business analyst, and DAA.
Campus: The school has really good facilities like noise cancellation classrooms, projectors, and Wi-Fi that works all the time. The food in the mess is better than other places, and they serve it four times a day. The medical facilities are also good.

Admission: The teachers at this college are really good. They know their stuff. Sometimes there's a bit of favoritism, but that happens everywhere. The teaching is decent, but it's a bit expensive. The teachers are friendly and there are some great guest teachers. They have a lot of workshops, which is cool. It's easy to grow here. The facilities are nice and the teaching is good. It's a good mix.
Placement: Placement average, but usually decent with good companies. More opportunities for core industries than IT. Getting a job can be tough, but worth it if you succeed. It's good, not amazing. Can be challenging, but overall nice. It's not easy, but it gets the job done.
Campus: The course facilities are good. Hostel rooms are small but you get used to it. Maintenance is okay. The college temple is well maintained with good facilities. It's nice, but not amazing. The department is nice too. The hostel is okay. The roads and other facilities are good. Everything works well together, to be honest.

Admission: The teachers here are really good. They're all qualified and ready to help us when we need it. The way exams are set up and the topics we study are great. Studying here is fun because of the awesome teachers.
Placement: Out of 25 students in my batch, 10 of us got placed. The highest salary offered was 7 LPA. Everyone landed internships. The main job roles were software developers at Infosys and TCS. Overall, we're all pretty pleased with how things turned out.
Campus: The college has good infrastructure and a nice outside area. The library is quiet, classrooms are good, and there's Wi-Fi in some spots. Unfortunately, students can't access it. The canteen is good and there are lots of sports activities available on campus.

Admission: The teachers at BIT Mesra are great, with PhDs and postgraduates from top schools. They teach really well. The student-to-teacher ratio is good, so you can ask questions easily. The subjects in the courses are useful. The exams are tough, so you need to study hard. There's a mid-semester test, an end-semester test, and two quizzes in between. Not many students fail, but if you do, you have to pass the back papers.
Placement: The job market is tough right now, so placements at BIT Mesra have gone down a bit. But the tech branch still gets good on-campus jobs. It's harder for branches like biotechnology. In the chemical branch, the average salary is 7.30 LPA for core companies and 10.8 LPA for non-core companies. The lowest pay is 8.10 LPA, and the highest is 52 LPA. Big companies like Reliance, Vedanta, and Tata Steel come to hire students. Over 90% of students find jobs, which is great!
Campus: The campus at BIT Mesra is super green and beautiful. The hostels and other stuff are well-kept. The sports area is cool too. We have a sports place with two badminton courts, two volleyball courts, and a big field. In February, the college has a sports meet every year. There are thirteen hostels, including two for girls. Wi-Fi is good everywhere - in hostels, campus, library, labs, and classes. There's a clinic on campus, and they even give students an ambulance for emergencies. The food is alright in the mess, but it's a bit pricey.

Admission: The course curriculum is outdated and doesn't cover modern tech. They stick to old methods at BIT. Placements aren't guaranteed, but they do help with contacts. Exams are tough, but grading makes it easier to pass. The teachers are helpful, and there are plenty of staff.
Placement: The job placements are great for the electrical and mechanical engineering programs, but other programs don't do as well. In 2024, the highest salary offered on campus is around 62 LPA.
Campus: The hostel here is really good and the campus looks nice. They keep everything clean and students help out too. It's a good place to focus on studying. You can use Wi-Fi and the labs are great. The classrooms are big and have AC. Plus, there's a huge sports complex to enjoy.

Admission: The teachers here are mostly great they know their stuff and are always ready to help. But, there are a few who could do better. The courses are spot on and really prep you for internships and landing good jobs. When it comes to exams, we've got four in total each semester: 2 quizzes worth 10 marks each, a mid-semester test for 25 marks, and an end-of-semester exam for 50 marks. It's a solid setup that keeps us on our toes!
Placement: Around 60% of students here get placed every year. The highest salary is 50 LPA, while the lowest is around 4-5 LPA. For internships, lots of companies come and offer about Rs. 20,000-30,000 for 6 months. Mechanical and chemical branches have an 80% placement guarantee, but civil doesn't get many companies. Disappointed that top companies like L&T didn't visit this year.
Campus: The classrooms and labs in every department are equipped with everything we need. You can easily connect to Wi-Fi using your roll number. Smart boards are available in all classrooms. The libraries have comfy seating. The food from the mess isn't great, but the hostels are kept clean.

Admission: The teachers are really good, especially in the mechanical branch. The curriculum is similar to other B.Tech courses. The semester exams are fair and there's a mentor for each student. The grading system is pretty reasonable.
Placement: The college is okay for placements, but it could be better, especially for our branch. Around 40% of students found jobs here. In the third year, most students get internships at Reliance Company. This year, the average salary was between 8 to 9 LPA.
Campus: The college has Wi-Fi and hostel facilities. The food in the mess is better than other colleges. They have smart laundry in hostels and free medical services. The library has digital and regular reading rooms. Campus life is awesome overall.

Admission: The staff at this college are pretty helpful. Some are more helpful than others, but they all try their best to help students out. They know a lot about their subjects. Every student gets a mentor to help with mental health, which is great. And the teachers are easy to talk to, you can drop by their office whenever you need help.
Placement: I'm happy to share that most students in my college got placed this year, around 80 percent! Some decided to go for higher studies, and others found jobs off-campus. The average salary offered was 10 LPA, and the highest package was 23 LPA for mechanical engineering students. Big companies like Microsoft and consulting firms came to campus and hired students.
Campus: The main building looks good, but the hostels could be better. The library needs air conditioning, and there are a lot of construction projects happening. The campus is nice with lots of greenery, which is great because it's away from all the pollution. There are some rivers around, which give a cool vibe in the evenings.
