Admission: The teachers at this college are super helpful and supportive. They know their stuff. The exams aren't too hard, but the examiners can be pretty strict. Just study for a month before the exams, and you'll do fine.

Placement: The mechanical engineering branch has great placements, around 95-100%. Every year, the highest package changes, but the average is about 7 LPA. Companies like Tata Steel, JSW, and JSL come for recruitment. The internship opportunities are limited, but almost all students get placed in the mechanical branch.

Campus: The hostel doesn't have Wi-Fi, so you gotta get it yourself or sign up for an outside subscription. The labs at college are pretty decent. The library is nice too, with all the engineering and CAT books you need. Hostel quality is good, and the mess food is enjoyable.

Admission: The teachers know their stuff and are qualified, but they're pretty strict. The semester exams aren't too hard. You can pass by practicing old questions and focusing on key topics. If you study for 4-5 days before, you can get good grades without a problem.

Placement: The job placements for my branch are really good. Our college has some of the best placement opportunities. Around 85-95% of students get placed every year from my branch. The highest package was 16 LPA by Vedanta, the lowest was 3.3 LPA from TCS Ninja, and the average was 7.5 LPA. Companies like Reliance, ABG, L&T, and Tata Steel are the top recruiters.

Campus: The building where our departments are is super old and could use a makeover. Unfortunately, there's no Wi-Fi, so we have to rely on our own data. But the library is awesome! It's huge with tons of books and resources. Plus, there's a digital library and Wi-Fi too.

Admission: The professors here are super helpful and know their stuff. They use a mix of PowerPoint and whiteboard teaching which is cool. The stuff we learn is actually useful and matches what's going on in the industry right now. It's great for getting us ready for jobs. The exams can be a bit tough but most people pass with over 80%.

Placement: I studied Mining Engineering at BIT Sindri. The placement rate was pretty good, around 65-75%. Vedanta Resources offered the highest package at 16.5 LPA. The average package was around 8 LPA. Companies like Adani, JSW, L&T, Vedanta, and Aditya Birla Group recruited students.

Campus: The Mining Department's infrastructure is pretty old-fashioned. The lab has some new stuff, but most of it is old and doesn't work well. The whole institute is old, even the hostels. But they're building new hostels - one is open now, and two more are coming this year. The food in the mess is okay, medical help is not great, and there aren't good sports facilities.

Admission: The teachers mainly focus on preparing us for the GATE exam. They don't give much help with placements, though. The semester exams are doable and not too tough. Just studying previous year questions and key topics is usually enough to pass. The multiple-choice questions worth 14 marks each are really helpful for passing exams.

Placement: Around 10-15 students haven't found jobs yet, but everyone else has. The highest salary was 12 LPA at TATA Steel, the lowest was 3.3 LPA at TCS Ninja, and the average was 6.5 LPA. TCS, Hitachi, and Yamaha were the top companies hiring students.

Campus: The classrooms aren't huge, but they can fit around 50 students comfortably. They have different types of boards like SMART boards, whiteboards, and green boards. The Wi-Fi in the department isn't always working. The library is pretty spacious and has a lot of resources.

Admission: The teachers really know their stuff, lots of them have PhDs and some even passed GATE. You can pass the semester exams by practicing old questions, and if you study for 45 days per subject, you can get good marks.

Placement: In my college, most ECE students have jobs. The best offer was 12 LPA from TATA Steel, while the lowest was 3.3 LPA from TCS Ninja. On average, students get 6.5 LPA. The main companies hiring from our college are Tata Steel, L&T, Vedanta, Adani, and Aditya Birla Group.

Campus: The classrooms have whiteboards, green boards, and smart classes. There are plenty of benches. We don't get Wi-Fi, so we have to set it up ourselves. The library is huge and has all the books we need for studying.

Admission: The professors at this college really know their stuff. They're experienced and have degrees from top colleges like IITs and NITs. They teach us exactly what we need to know for exams. The course is practical and prepares us well for the industry.

Placement: Most students got placed in the tech field, but some also landed jobs in the core sector. Others cleared exams like GATE and government ones. Big companies like Tata, JSW Steel, and L&T come for placements. A lot of students start doing internships early on some even in the first year. The college has a good 90% placement rate, whether on or off campus.

Campus: The college has good Wi-Fi and labs. There's a library, classrooms, and labs with all the machines needed for practicals. The infrastructure is nice. The food is okay. We also have a gym and common room for games. The medical facilities are really good, with an ambulance available 24/7.

Admission: Some of the teachers, like MG Tiary Sir, Jagveer Verma, Gunjan Sir, and Prashant Sir, are really helpful. They know a lot about their subjects. The semester exams aren't too tough. You can pass them easily by studying old questions and key topics. But some teachers can be strict, so watch out for that.

Placement: Around 60-65% of students in my course have already got placed, which is pretty cool. The highest salary was 12 LPA from TATA Steel, while the lowest was 3.3 LPA from TCS and Ninja. On average, most students are getting around 6.5 LPA. The top companies hiring from our college are TCS, Hitachi, Yamaha, Cognizant, Tata Steel, Narayana, and Reliance. It's great to see so many options for placements!

Campus: The college has 3 classrooms for lectures, a seminar hall, and labs for different subjects. The labs have some new equipment, but it's limited. They've added more computers to most labs, but the Wi-Fi is pretty bad.

Admission: The teachers know their stuff. Some are really helpful, but others can be pretty tough. You can find course materials on YouTube from places like Engineering Funda, Neso Academy, GATE Academy, and Tilak Academy. They cover most of what we need to know for our classes.

Placement: The placements for core branches are really good. Almost all students in core branches like mining, mechanical, electrical, and chemical get job offers. However, for CS/IT/ECE, there are fewer companies hiring compared to core branches. Companies like TCS, Cognizant, Hitachi, and Yamaha mostly recruit from these branches.

Campus: The older hostels had issues with fans not working well and washrooms being dirty. But the newer ones are much better. I stayed in hostel 29, and the rooms were nicely furnished. Also, only two students share a room there. The best part was the balcony view, terrace, and the cool ceiling fan that you can control with a remote. It's definitely worth staying in the newer hostels for a more comfortable experience.

Admission: The teachers are really good here. Most of them have Ph.Ds, and some even passed the GATE. Mr. Tiary and Mr. Verma are super helpful, but some teachers can be a bit tough. The semester exams are manageable, not too hard.

Placement: Most of us in our course have already got jobs, which is pretty cool. But there are still some companies left to hire, like Dalmia and Wonder. The pay packages vary, with the highest being 12 LPA, the lowest 3.3 LPA, and the average around 6.7 LPA. The companies that hire the most are TCS, Hitachi, Yamaha, Cognizant, Capgemini, and Reliance.

Campus: In our college, students in the 2nd, 3rd, and final years have separate classrooms for lectures. First-year students have lectures in the Lecture Hall Complex. Unfortunately, the college doesn't provide Wi-Fi. The lab equipment is limited, so we often have to work in groups of 7-8 for experiments.
