Admission: The teachers here know their stuff and have lots of experience. The semester exams are not too hard or too easy. If you need help, the teachers and your friends are super friendly and supportive.
Placement: Most students at BMS College get placed easily because it's a top 10 college in Bangalore. The lowest salary offered is around 2-3 Lacs, while the highest is 4-5 Lacs. About 80-90% of students in our course land internships. Cool companies like Koneigsegg, a top sports car company, also hire students from our college.
Campus: The campus facilities are really nice and the teachers are super helpful when you're confused. Sometimes the classrooms and library can get stuffy without good fans. And let's be real, the hostel food can't beat homemade meals.

Admission: The teachers are really helpful and know their stuff. They're good at teaching. There's about 30 students for every teacher. I didn't get much real-world experience though. The course material was too much, they could've made it easier for us. But the internship was useful.
Placement: The college doesn't help with finding jobs after graduation. The pay after finishing is not great compared to other programs. We all had to do internships, and most of us got placed in various companies with a stipend of around three to five thousand. But there's no official placement office at the college.
Campus: The Wi-Fi is pretty unreliable here. The classrooms are nice, but the computer lab doesn't have enough computers for all the students. The library could be better. It would be great to have an e-library. On the bright side, the food in the canteen is actually pretty good.

Admission: The teachers here have degrees from different cool places like CEPT, SPA, AA, UCLA. Even the visiting teachers are super smart. The stuff we learn in class is okay, but the real deal is when we do internships. That's where we really learn stuff that sticks with us. Honestly, only a small part of what we learn in college is actually used when we become architects.
Placement: In our college, for B.Arch courses, placements aren't common. During our 5th-year professional training, we usually stay on at the firm where we interned after graduation. But if B.Arch students need help finding placements, the department and placement cell are there to assist.
Campus: The hostel rooms were alright. Some had 3 people, some had 2. Some rooms had private bathrooms, others shared. The food in the dining hall wasn't great. Not many options and not very healthy.

Admission: The teachers here are super experienced and always around when we need help. We can even reach out to them on social media after class. The classes aren't too crowded with a good 10:1 student-teacher ratio. We get to see real-world stuff with industry visits and all. They stick to the course plan really well.
Placement: For my B.Arch program, there's no mandatory placement, but the college supports us with internships. They give us lots of chances to finish the course successfully. Big companies come to campus to hire students in good numbers. We even get to take part in NASA, a national architecture competition. It was cool to host it at our college one year.
Campus: The facilities here are top-notch compared to other campuses. The staff really care about students and support us in everything we do. The classrooms and labs have all the tools we need, and the food in the canteen is pretty good too. Can't complain!

Admission: The teachers here are really well qualified, with degrees like B.Arch, M.Arch, and PhD. They teach using a blackboard and visuals. In class, there's around 35 students for every teacher. But in the studio, it's a better ratio of 10 students to 1 teacher. They give us a good look at the industry too. And they can change up the course if needed.
Placement: The B.Arch program doesn't have traditional placements. During the 5th year, we do internships to gain experience. We have to find firms on our own, but the college does offer some help with job hunting. Interns usually get paid around Rs. 5,000-10,000, but the actual salary varies based on the firm.
Campus: The department has Wi-Fi, a computer lab, and a library. The hostel rooms are nice and clean. The food at the hostel is good and clean too. We have an indoor stadium for badminton, basketball, and table tennis. They even turned the ground into a new block.

Admission: The teachers here are super nice and always ready to help out when you need it. They're quick to respond to your messages, which is awesome. The college is connected to VTU, so the coursework can be a bit outdated. But hey, there's never a dull moment with all the tasks they give you. From sheets and posters to presentations and exams, it's a non-stop rollercoaster!
Placement: There's a placement cell, but what really counts is how well you know your stuff. Depending on how good you are, you can land internships at top companies. It's trickier for architecture students compared to engineering ones. If you do well, you're set. If not, you'll have to find an internship on your own.
Campus: The campus looks really nice from the outside. It's surrounded by green areas and has places to hang out. The classrooms are big, but the tables for drawing need an upgrade. The bathrooms are not great and the handwashing area is not clean. Sometimes the elevators don't work. The hostel serves good food and it's pretty clean overall.

Admission: The teachers at our college were really nice and knew their stuff. But, I gotta say, the teaching could've been better. Since it's a master's program, they expected us to put in more work than the teachers. The syllabus was huge though.
Placement: There aren't many job options for architecture students. We have to find internships by ourselves. There are placement cells for all other courses, but not for architecture. B.Tech students had 100% placements. Other students have a placement cell, except for architecture students.
Campus: The Wi-Fi was slow, but we had it. Classrooms were nice. The library had a lot of books, and we could check on our phones for info. Labs and classrooms were okay. Hostel rooms were big and clean. We had Wi-Fi and a washing machine in the hostel. I never had problems with the facilities while I was there.

Admission: The teachers are super nice and really know their stuff. They teach with passion and always look out for us students. They're always around when we need help. The course gets us ready for the real world.
Placement: The college is really great for placements and is one of the top colleges in Karnataka. It's ranked 15th among architecture colleges in India. The atmosphere for students is awesome. On average, the package is around 6-7 LPA.
Campus: The campus and hostel at this college are really nice. The hostel fee is a bit high for families with a middle-class budget, around 2 LPA, but it's worth it. The campus has everything you need sports, music, yoga, NCC, and more. It's a great place to be!

Admission: The teachers here are really helpful and know their stuff. They do a great job teaching. Some of the classes seem unnecessary, but most of the course material is spot on. The teaching is top-notch, and the teachers are always up for chatting with students. It's super helpful, especially for us design students.
Placement: Students still don't have jobs lined up. For internships, the pay can be as low as Rs. 2,000 or as high as Rs. 10,000. We don't know about salary packages yet. Most students do get internships though. Last year, everyone had to do an internship, and most students got placed. But it's not a sure thing because the college doesn't directly place students. We have to submit our portfolios and hope for the best.
Campus: The 3D cutting lab and computer lab at college are in good shape. Unfortunately, there's no hostel provided. The food at the canteen is not great, and the kitchens seem kinda dirty. It's hard to find healthy food here. On a positive note, the indoor stadium has 4 badminton courts and a basketball court.

Admission: The teachers at our college are really good. They know their stuff and most of them have master's degrees. A lot of them studied at CEPT College of Architecture in Ahmedabad, which is a famous college in India. Our course is pretty much the same as what VTU has set. Our seniors were under BMS, so our syllabus is a bit different. Ours is tough and has a lot of work.
Placement: Studying architecture here is like having a whole year of internship crammed into 5 years. They show us the real work scene early on. Job opportunities are there, but seniors and teachers don't really like them. They say it's all about computer work on someone else's designs, not the creative stuff we love. I wouldn't suggest going for placements either.
Campus: Our college is super old, built way back in 1948. The architecture course kicked off in the '80s under BMSCE's wing. But now, it's got its own vibe. The architecture campus got a fresh look with renovated blocks. Each studio has its own classrooms with benches, just like any other class. The rooms have boards, screens, and projectors. And each student gets their own drafting table in the studio. What drew me to this college was its prime location in the heart of Bangalore. It's so easy to get here by bus or metro. The campus is so green and lush too. When picking a college for architecture, it's crucial to have all these facilities. But what sealed the deal for me was the easy access to all the materials we need. Having quality sheets and models is key in our course, even more than exams.
