The campus hiring process begins with the hiring partner filling out an online registration form and specifying their requirements. Next, the job description and profile are shared with students to gauge their interest. A list of interested students is then provided to the hiring partner, after which the actual hiring process is conducted, either on-campus or off-campus, based on the partner’s preference. They emphasize continuous development of technical, behavioral, personal and social skills. Key supports include training in studio-tests, portfolio creation and presentation, interview preparation, expression & presentation skills, and soft skills. An integral part of the curriculum is the Summer Internship Programme (SIP) during second and third years, where students work on real projects in organizations under external and internal guidance. DPU-SOD also fosters strong corporate engagement and maintains a network of companies for internships, placements, and live design projects.
