Admission: The teachers at our college were a mixed bag. Some were really great super helpful, experienced in their fields, and always there to support us. But then there were others who felt like they were just there for show, not much help at all. The course content was a major letdown. It was outdated and didn't prepare us well for the real world. It's not just our college though, all IHMs have the same problem. The hotel industry is moving fast, but our college is stuck in the past with their old-fashioned curriculum. It's time for an upgrade!
Placement: Most students (around 80%) got jobs through the college, while others found jobs on their own through walk-in interviews. The highest salary offered was about 6 lakhs per annum, and the lowest was around 3.5 lakhs per annum. On average, students got offered 4.5 lakhs per annum. Companies like ITC, Oberoi, JW Marriott, IHG, Pullman, and Hyatt come for placements. Almost everyone got internships in top companies like Oberoi, Taj, ITC, Hyatt, and Novotel. The roles offered were industrial trainee, management trainee, and operational trainee.
Campus: The college has good infrastructure with classrooms, kitchens, and restaurant facilities. Wi-Fi is available, but only for faculty. The library has plenty of books. Hostel rooms have two beds and cupboards, but summers are tough due to the heat and humidity. Only one fan in the rooms, no coolers or AC. Food in the hostel mess isn't great, and there's no canteen on campus. Medical facilities are limited to a basic first-aid kit. Sports facilities include basketball, volleyball, badminton, football courts, and a cricket field with sports kits.

Admission: The teachers here were really helpful and super knowledgeable. They know their stuff well. Their practical knowledge was amazing. The course is perfect for students who love hospitality. It gets you ready for the industry with hands-on experience and training in fancy hotels.
Placement: Most of us in my course got jobs. Oberoi was the best company for hiring. The main job roles were assistant store manager and front office management trainee. The highest salary was 2,76,000 per year and the lowest was 1,40,000 per year. Everyone in my course got internships, mostly in places like Taj, Oberoi, Hyatt, and Accor.
Campus: The college has everything you need - air-conditioned auditorium, comfy guest rooms, a nice lobby, big dining hall, and labs and kitchens for training. There's also a library and computer lab. The hostel rooms are great quality, but the food could be better.

Admission: I really like IHM Gwalior because the teachers here know their stuff. They have worked in the industry, which helps us learn practical things. The teachers are easy to talk to and they make sure we get what they're teaching. That's why we do well in our studies. The teachers are always there to help us out, which makes learning here a great experience. Also, the school is great at helping us develop our skills.
Placement: IHM Gwalior is awesome for placements! Around 70-80% of students get job offers. The salary is decent, starting from 12,000 to 16,000 per month. The highest package goes up to 25,000 per month. Companies like Oberoi Hotels, Taj Group, JW Marriott, and more hire from here. Almost all students get internships at 5-star hotels, giving great industry exposure. After graduation, you can get roles like Management Trainee (MT) with 16,168 per month or Skilled positions with around 15,634 per month. Great opportunities here!
Campus: IHM Gwalior has everything students need: - Classrooms have cool gadgets for better learning. - Labs for cooking, baking, front office work, IT skills. - Library with tons of books, mags, and videos. - Hostels for boys and girls, with sports and food. - Fun stuff like table tennis, carrom, chess, and badminton.

Admission: The teachers at our college are a mixed bag. Some are really good, while others struggle to communicate well. The ones who are good at explaining things give us a solid theoretical foundation, but we don't always get enough hands-on experience. It's important for us to learn practical skills for the hospitality industry.
Placement: Most students from our course got jobs, around 90%. The highest salary offered was 4 LPA, average was 3 LPA, and the lowest was 2 LPA. Companies like Oberoi, BBQ, and Hyatt come for placements. One of the main roles offered is management trainee. If you want a job right out of college, you'll likely get one here.
Campus: The college doesn't have Wi-Fi in the hostel or on campus. They don't let you bring your phone either. The food in the mess was really bad. They only give you a certain amount of food each time.

Admission: The teachers here are really nice and know their stuff. They're always ready to help out. The classes are interesting and the exams are fair. About 4 out of every 10 students pass, so it's not too tough.
Placement: The placements used to be good, but because of covid, they were affected. We still get recruited by decent companies with okay packages. And we can get internships no matter what our grades are.
Campus: The college campus is nice to check out. The classrooms are in good shape and the labs are open for us to use. Unfortunately, there's no Wi-Fi here. The canteen is clean and the college supports sports activities. They also have medical facilities available, which is great.

Admission: The teachers at our college really know their stuff when it comes to the hotel industry. They teach us all about how hotels work and how to take care of guests. This course prepares us well for working in the industry, which is super useful.
Placement: A lot of big hotel companies like Oberoi, Leela, ITC, Taj, Marriot, Hilton, etc., came for placements. I know many students who got internships from all 4 departments. If you're into retail, there were companies for that too. Freshers were getting around Rs. 15,000-20,000 per month to start off.
Campus: There's lots of cool stuff on campus like a medical center, library, and a restaurant where we practice manners. Plus, we've got a volleyball court and a basketball court for fun. We even have guest rooms for special lunches. The food here is top-notch because students cook in the cafeteria. They're great at cooking and learn all kinds of yummy dishes.

Admission: The teachers are super helpful even after the course ends, and they really know their stuff. The seniors who teach are good too. This course gets you ready for the industry. The exams aren't too hard because it's all about hands-on learning. Almost 90% of students pass the course.
Placement: Most students here get placed, and the teachers still help those who haven't found jobs yet. The average salary is between 3 to 4 lakhs per year. Taj and Oberoi hotels hire a lot of students. Almost everyone gets internships at fancy hotels. At first, we start low but thanks to the course and placements, things get better.
Campus: The college has everything we need - library, labs, classrooms, and hands-on experience spaces. The equipment is top-notch and the quality is great. Food is tasty and clean. The dorms are okay, rooms are clean. The food is just okay. They organize sports and events on time.

Admission: The teachers know a lot about hotels and have worked in the industry. They help us a lot and share cool stories to keep us interested. We have exams every semester, plus a mid-term. We also do 7 practical exams each semester. It's pretty fun and hands-on!
Placement: The placements here are really good. Last year, most seniors got jobs about 70%. This year, it's even better with about 76% landing jobs at top hotels and stores. It's a great place to grow and set yourself up for a bright future.
Campus: The campus has good infrastructure. The teachers are helpful. There are seven kitchens for learning, each designed well. We also have a personal housekeeping lab and a separate laundry area. The front office lab is run by great teachers. The college has its own training center for real-world hotel practice. It's been a great experience overall. And there are separate hostels for guys and girls on campus.

Admission: The teachers at IHM Gwalior are really good. They know their stuff and are always there to help us with any questions we have. They prepare us well for the industry by giving us practical knowledge. We go to class regularly and don't need to do extra learning outside of class.
Placement: To get into this course, you gotta pass the NCHMT exam by the government and score at least 50% in 12th grade with English. They offer an 8 LPA package on average and 3 LPA is the usual. Companies like Taj, Oberoi, and more visit for placements. For internships, percentage doesn't matter, but you gotta ace the interview. There are four main departments where you can easily find a job: food production for chefs, food and beverages for managers, front office for receptionists, and housekeeping for supervisors. It's all about where you wanna work!
Campus: IHM Gwalior has a huge campus with its own hotel. There are different classes for first-year students to learn the basics. We have a restaurant where we practice serving food every day. In the second year, we have a kitchen for cooking practice and a training housekeeping department. We also have a front office, computer lab, library, and air-conditioned classrooms. The classes in the 2nd and 3rd years are a bit different from the 1st year.
