Admission: The teachers here are really cool and super smart. They give us all the notes we need and help us get ready for the real world. We do practical stuff every week, which is awesome. They make sure we practice a lot and even have extra classes before exams. We have six semesters in three years with 12 exams, including midterms.
Placement: I'm in my second year at college, so I haven't had placement interviews yet. But I've heard from older students that big hotels like Trident, Taj, Oberoi, Hilton, and even airlines and fast-food places like Subway, McDonald's, and Starbucks come to our college for interviews. Can't wait for my turn in the third year!
Campus: The college isn't massive, but it has everything you need for studying. They've got four kitchens, front office labs, computer labs, housekeeping labs, and two restaurants for practicing food & beverage service. Wi-Fi is there, but only for teachers, not us students. The mess and canteen weren't open for the first years starting in 2023, but lucky for me, we had them for all three years.

Admission: The teachers here are awesome. They make learning fun and easy. They really know their stuff and make sure you understand everything. They keep you engaged in the class. The exams are interesting too, with a mix of assignments and online tests.
Placement: IHM Mumbai is a cool college for hospitality. It's been around since 1955. Lots of students love it because it helps them a lot. Big companies like Taj and Oberoi come here to hire students. Everyone gets a job after they finish their course.
Campus: The college uses IDS for front-office stuff. They have hostels for both girls and boys. There are 15+ classrooms, 5 kitchens, 1 fo lab, and 2 HK labs. Everything is in 2 buildings with a hotel and 2 hostels.

Admission: Classes at our college go from 9 AM to 4:30 PM every day, with a mix of practical and theory sessions. The teachers here are super experienced, and the quality of education is top-notch. I really like the teaching methods and the overall quality of education here.
Placement: In the second year, we get a four-month internship. The pay depends on the hotel, ranging from Rs.1,000 to Rs.5,000 per month. A lot of 5-star hotels and other places like travel companies, cinemas, and fast food joints hire us after we graduate. Our college has a huge alumni network. After we graduate, we can make anywhere from Rs.15,000 to Rs.30,000 per month.
Campus: There are three hostels in our college - 2 for girls and 1 for boys. The girls' hostels are split into NRI and general. The food in the hostel isn't amazing, but at least lunch is free for everyone in the college mess. Our college's infrastructure isn't top-notch since it's an old college in a small area.

Admission: I started classes at 9:30 am every day. We had practical and theory classes daily. I really enjoyed my college experience. The faculty are experts in the hotel industry. They have great experience and knowledge. I picked this course to learn more about hotels. The teachers are so helpful and smart. They have worked in nice hotels, about 3 in 10 being 5-star ones. Exams were every semester with internal assessments to prepare us. It was helpful to know the exam pattern.
Placement: I had to do a 4-month internship in my second year, which was pretty cool because I could do it anywhere. They prefer us to work in a fancy 5-star hotel, focusing on front office, food & beverage service, housekeeping, and kitchen areas. The college helps us find internships, but if you want to do it outside Mumbai, you can sort it out yourself.
Campus: I stayed at the general boys' hostel and it was decent. There's also a general hostel for girls and an NRI hostel for high-rank students. The NRI hostel is pricey but worth it with AC and good facilities. It costs around 2 lakhs per year. The classrooms are nice and the education quality is top-notch.

Admission: The teachers were awesome! They were really nice and always ready to help. The course was practical and prepared us for the industry. The exams in each semester were challenging if you didn't study enough, but not impossible.
Placement: Because of COVID, not many students got jobs, but in past years, lots of students did. The second year had a training part that everyone had to do, mostly in fancy hotels.
Campus: The campus may be small, but it has everything you need library, mess, practice kitchens, dummy restaurants, and even a hotel vibe! The canteen serves tasty food at affordable prices. Love it here!

Admission: The teachers here are super helpful. The course content is spot on for real-world jobs. The semester exams are fair. As long as you study, you'll do well. But if you don't, you'll find the exams tough.
Placement: Almost everyone from my college, IHM Pusa, got a job. The pay ranges from 4 to 9 LPA. Big companies like ITC, Maurya, Taj, Oberoi, and Hyatt hire us. Everyone also lands internships at places like ITC, Taj, Oberoi, Hyatt, Leela, Le Meridien, and Marriott. They offer roles like chef, front office staff, housekeeping, and food service.
Campus: The campus has everything we need - a kitchen for cooking, a restaurant to serve food, labs for cleaning and front desk work, a library, an auditorium, Wi-Fi, and outdoor space. The hostel and bakeshop serve yummy food. Plus, we have medical help and fun activities like volleyball, badminton, and a chill lounge. Love it here!

Admission: The teachers in our college know a lot about hospitality from working in the field. They really help us understand how things work in the industry. The course material is a bit old, but they're working on making it better. First-year students like me have a syllabus that matches what's happening now in the industry. The exams are pretty simple if you study ahead for about a week.
Placement: IHM is a top college in India for hotel management. The placements here are really good. We get to intern at top hotels like Taj, Oberoi, ITC, Marriott, etc. The faculty is also really helpful when it comes to helping us find placements.
Campus: We get food every day, whether we live in the hostel or not. It's decent, and since students cook, we don't have the same meals over and over. Most classes don't have AC, but some do. They all have smart projectors, which are handy. The library has pretty much every book you need for studying hotel management.

Admission: My college is known as one of the best hotel management colleges in India. The teachers are really good at what they do and they teach in a practical way, which is great for learning about the hotel industry. You get a lot of hands-on experience and the chefs are super skilled. I feel like I'm getting a top-notch education here!
Placement: I go to IHM Mumbai, which is one of the best hotel management colleges in India. The placement rate is really high at around 90%. As long as you put in some effort, you're pretty much guaranteed a job. The average salary ranges from 3 to 4 LPA, but it depends on the hotel. Generally, bigger hotel chains offer lower salaries, while smaller ones offer more.
Campus: My college is pretty old, it was built in the 1970s-80s. The buildings are not fancy and there's no swimming pool, but it's in a prime spot in Mumbai, Dadar. It's a bit pricey area, but at least we have some space to hang out and play.

Admission: The teachers and staff here really know their stuff. They teach well and get us ready for real-life challenges in our future jobs. The semester exam isn't too hard if you've been studying. And most students pass with over 80%.
Placement: Most of us got jobs this year. The pay ranges from 2.5 to 5 LPA. We had companies like Taj, Oberoi, Hilton, and more come for placements. Everyone landed internships at hotels like Taj, Oberoi, Radisson, and Marriott. We got roles like Executive, Manager, and Supervisor. It was a great experience!
Campus: Our college has great facilities like computer labs, a housekeeping lab, a kitchen, and a restaurant for food service. We also have a library and a big dining hall for meals. The college provides hostel facilities starting from the second year. There are fun events like culture curry, fresher's party, Holika Dahan, afterparties, painting competitions, and quizzes organized on campus.

Admission: The teachers here are really skilled and know their stuff. They've got a ton of experience in teaching and working in the industry. The course content is spot-on and gets us ready to lead in the hospitality world. We have two exams each semester: one in the middle and one at the end. Our final grade comes from a mix of both exams, with the final one weighing more at 70% compared to the mid-semester exam at 30%.
Placement: The college has a 100% placement rate. The average salary package is Rs. 3,50,000, with the highest package being around Rs. 7 lacs. Over 35 companies show up for placements from various industries like hotels, QSRs, consulting firms, restaurants, and cinemas. Some of the top companies that come for recruitment are IHCl, ITC, Oberoi, Marriott, McDonald's, Starbucks, Cinepolis, Pyramid, and Lemon Tree.
Campus: The classrooms have AC and projectors, which is nice. The labs and library are kept clean. Hostel students get food after the JNU batch. The indoor sports are cool, and they have lots of tournaments.
