IIFT Delhi Placements 2024: Highest Package: INR 85.40 LPA & Average Package: INR 27.30 LPA

The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) has successfully completed its Final Placements for the MBA in International Business (IB) program for the batch of 2022-24. In this latest placement drive, companies offered roles in various domains like sales and marketing, consulting, IT, analytics, finance and operations. The highest international CTC offered was INR 85.40 LPA, and the highest domestic CTC stood at INR 75.60 LPA. The average CTC offered was INR 27.30 LPA, and the median CTC stood at INR 25 LPA. The top 10% of students received an average CTC of INR 53.1 LPA, while the top 25% received an average of INR 40.6 LPA and top 50% of students received an average CTC of INR 33.5 LPA.

The recruitment season witnessed strong participation from over 120 recruiters, offering diverse roles across industries like BFSI, consulting, FMCG, IT, logistics, healthcare, and more. Some of the top recruiters who participated in the placement process include Amazon, Adani, Cipla, Axis Bank, Coca-Cola, Dabur, Flipkart, HDFC Bank, Infosys, ICICI Bank, J&J, Microsoft, Samsung, Swiggy and PhonePe.

IIFT Delhi also offers a Summer Internship Program (SIP) as a key part of MBA in International Business (IB) program. This program helps students gain real-world experience, understand how companies work, and explore possible career options. Through summer internship, students bring their unique talents, fresh energy, and flexible thinking to workplaces.

More than 120 companies came to give jobs to students this year. Out of these, 30 companies came for the first time. Because of this, 85% of the students got jobs. The highest salary offered for a job outside India was INR 85.40 lakhs per year. The highest salary for a job in India was INR 75.60 lakhs per year. On average, students got INR 27.30 lakhs per year. The middle salary was INR 25 lakhs per year. The top 10% of students got an average of INR 53.1 lakhs. The top 25% got INR 40.6 lakhs, and the top 50% got INR 33.5 lakhs on average. Big companies like Amazon, Adani, Microsoft, Cipla, Coca-Cola, Dabur, Flipkart, Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, Infosys, ICICI Bank, Samsung, Swiggy, and PhonePe gave jobs to the students.

IIFT Delhi Placements 2024 Sector-Wise

Professional Services led the placement drive, contributing 23% of the total offers, followed by the BFSI sector at 21%. Information Technology accounted for 17% of the roles. FMCG/FMCD/Retail made up 14% of the offers. The Energy, Industrial, Materials, and Real Estate sector contributed 8%, while E-commerce and Telecom collectively made up 6%. Transportation, logistics, and trade comprised 5%, and Pharma & Healthcare secured 4% of the roles. The automobile sector contributed 2%.

IIFT Delhi Placements 2024 Domain-Wise

At IIFT, most job offers came from Sales and Marketing (22%). Finance was next with 21% of offers, followed by Consulting at 18%. General Management made up 15% of offers, while 14% went to Trade and Operations. Lastly, 10% of the offers were in IT and Analytics.

In 2024, students at IIFT got an average salary of INR 27.30 lakhs per year. The highest salary for a job outside India stayed the same at INR 85.40 lakhs. The highest salary for a job in India was INR 75.60 lakhs. Even though the average salary was a little less than 2023 (which was INR 29.10 lakhs), many good companies still came to give jobs. In 2023, IIFT got its highest-ever salary in India INR 76.50 lakhs. The highest offer for a job outside India was the same as 2024 INR 85.40 lakhs. In 2022, the average salary was INR 25.16 lakhs, and the highest international offer was INR 80 lakhs.

IIFT Delhi MBA-IB Summer Internship Placements 2026 Highlights

The highest money (stipend) given for a job outside India was INR 6 lakhs. The highest money given for a job in India was INR 4.5 lakhs. On average, students earned INR 2.73 lakhs, and the middle amount was INR 2.5 lakhs. More than 60 students got over INR 4 lakhs, which shows that top companies really liked the students. Over 105 companies came to give internships in many different fields. Some big companies that took part were Amul, Amazon, Airtel, Bloomberg, Droom, Puma, and Tata Steel.

A total of 30+ companies, including over 20 new recruiters, participated in the internship placement season, offering a wide range of roles across analytics, consulting, BFSI, and technology domains.
