Admission: The teachers here are okay; some are great, some not so much, but overall they're pretty good. The classes cover pretty much the same stuff as other schools, so nothing really stands out there. The tests can be challenging, and the exam conditions are super strict and serious.
Placement: The placements here are pretty good. A lot of students get placed, which is a big deal. The highest salary is about 25 Lacs, with an average of 10 Lacs. Most students end up in jobs with lower pay, though.
Campus: I don't have much to say about the buildings here. The labs for all our subjects are old but they work fine. The hostels aren't great, which might be tough for newbies.

Admission: The teachers at this college are really good most of them are from IITs. The curriculum is updated and they offer a bunch of electives that are useful in the industry. The semester exams are fair and not too hard to pass.
Placement: All the students from my batch in 2023 got placed, and the placements for the next batch in 2024 are happening now. There were over 40 companies that came to campus for 350 of us. The lowest salary offered was 6 Lacs, while the highest was 39 Lacs by Media.Net. Big companies like Oracle and Siemens also recruit from our college. On average, IT students get 9lpa and electronics students get 7.5lpa.
Campus: The library has all the books we need. The food in the mess isn't great, and there aren't many choices. We have awesome fests and good sports facilities. There's a gym and a clinic on campus. The Wi-Fi here is fast, around 100 mbps on average.

Admission: The teachers here are pretty qualified and know their stuff, but they struggle to teach us well. Some are really good, especially those Ph.D. scholars. The curriculum is okay if you want to work in tech from the 2000s. The workload is heavy, guidance is lacking, and most mentors are MIA. Seniors are our best bet for help. It's tough to be job-ready with all this pressure on irrelevant stuff. The exams are standard, but some questions feel off. Grading can be harsh, and getting good marks is a challenge. Passing isn't too hard, but keeping a high GPA is tough.
Placement: In the last semester, the highest package for Computer Engineering was 26.5 LPA, and for CSE, it was 19 LPA. I heard a rumor that someone got 59 LPA in the 8th semester from CSE. Out of about 350 students, around 140 got placed in the 7th semester. Oracle has been the top recruiter here for a while now.
Campus: The hostel is okay; it's cleaned daily by the staff, but how clean your room stays depends on you. Wi-Fi in the old hostel is decent, but in the new one, it's pretty bad. You usually have to get your own, and sometimes they might cut it off for a few days. The new hostel is really clean, including the rooms. Medical help is available from 5 PM to 7 PM, and a gynecologist visits once a week. The nearest hospital is about 4.5 kilometers away. The campus offers sports like cricket, football, badminton, tennis, and basketball, but you might need to bring your own gear. Classrooms were supposed to be air-conditioned, but most aren't. It can get hot in the humid summers of Bhubaneswar. Wi-Fi in the classrooms varies based on where you are. The canteen serves okay food, but the mess is the worst. Sometimes there are insects in the food, and the chairs are not great. They're talking about making it better next year, though. The library is good for academic stuff, but if you want literature or other topics, you'll need to look elsewhere.

Admission: The teachers at this college are really good. They have degrees from top institutes like IITs, NITs, IIITs. They are always there to help students out. In each semester, we have mid-sem, end-sem, and internals. Mid-sem is 30%, end-sem is 50%, and internals are 20%.
Placement: I love how this college helps almost all students get placed after graduation. Big companies like Cognizant and The Circle come here and offer great jobs paying around 1224 LPA. Plus, they give us chances to do internships that pay 2LPA. It's awesome!
Campus: The Wi-Fi works well here, and the labs and classrooms look nice. But there's no AC in the classrooms, which is a big problem in the summer. The food in the mess isn't great, but the non-veg options are better.

Admission: The teachers are nice and they grade exams tough. They don't give out high GPAs easily. A lot of students don't do well and end up with many backlogs by the third year. The courses are old-school but the college events are awesome thanks to the student groups.
Placement: The job opportunities for computer engineering students are okay. Some students find jobs on campus while others have to look off-campus. Around 65% of students find jobs before they graduate. It's better than lower-ranked colleges but not as good as IITs/NITs. The highest salary offered is 80 LPA, while the lowest is 5 LPA. Companies like Oracle, Dell, IBM, HDPS, Infosys, and more come to hire students.
Campus: The college infrastructure is okay. Don't expect too much from a government college. Seniors are helpful if you ask for help. Wi-Fi works well 24/7 with good speed. Each floor has routers. The library is not that great. It mostly has books related to our subjects. Unlike some colleges, it's closed on weekends and shuts at 8 PM. All labs are there and in good condition. There's a college store, a Nescafe, and a mess for hostellers on campus. Hostels are on the 1st and 2nd floors. The food is alright for the price. The classrooms are big and good.

Admission: The teachers all have degrees from good colleges like IIT. They know their stuff. The courses are up-to-date and useful. By the end of the course, we're ready for the industry. The exams are fair, not too hard.
Placement: The salary packages here are awesome! They go from 3 LPA to 39 LPA. Companies like Dell, De Shaw, Oracle, TCS, Infosys, and more come for placements. You can get roles like SDE, senior software developer, frontend, backend, and data engineer. It's a great place for job opportunities!
Campus: The campus has Wi-Fi in all classrooms, labs, and hostels, with fast internet. The library has lots of books. The food in the mess is okay, not great. There's a Nescafe canteen on campus. We have all the sports facilities we need.

Admission: The teachers here are a mix - some are really good, while others can be a bit rude. The subjects we study don't seem very useful for our future careers. The exams are okay in terms of difficulty, not too hard or too easy. Overall, it's a bit hit or miss with the professors and the curriculum.
Placement: The B.Tech placements at IIIT Bhubaneswar in 2024 were awesome! The highest package was INR 26.5 LPA, and the average was INR 8.81 LPA. There were 192 offers from 42 recruiters. It was a great placement drive!
Campus: The campus is small and the buildings are old, but Wi-Fi is always on, although it can be slow at times. The food is alright and there's a doctor on campus. You can play lots of sports like football, cricket, and badminton. It's pretty cool.

Admission: The teachers at our college are super helpful, but there are a few who could be better. The curriculum really gets us ready for the industry. The semester exams are pretty tough with tricky questions, but they're fair. You need to get at least 35 out of 100 to pass, so make sure you study hard!
Placement: Most students in our college get good jobs after graduation. The highest salary is around 38 Lacs per year, while the lowest is about 12 Lacs. Companies like Microsoft, Dell, and others come to our college to hire students.
Campus: The college has good infrastructure and facilities. The classrooms are well-structured and nice. The Wi-Fi is usually good, but sometimes there are issues. The hostel rooms are okay, but the food in the mess isn't great.

Admission: The teaching here is top-notch. The professors are super qualified, with PhDs from top colleges like IITs and NITs. The course curriculum is spot-on, preparing us well for the industry. Exams can be tough, but some are more manageable. Overall, the academics are solid.
Placement: Most students in our course got placed in various companies around 85%. The highest salary offered was 25 LPA, while the lowest was 8 LPA. On average, students landed jobs at 10 LPA in 2024. Companies like Qualcomm and Oracle are top recruiters for our course. And around half of us scored internships at DE Shaw and Big Binary.
Campus: Our course is mostly hands-on with a lot of labs available every semester. It's great to get practical experience and really understand the topics. The digital classrooms make learning easier too.

Admission: The teachers here are really nice and know their stuff. Sometimes the teaching is just okay because last term we had some Ph.D. students filling in. The course material is kinda outdated. Exams are pretty manageable, not too hard. But everyone's trying to get a good GPA, so it's a bit competitive.
Placement: I'm in college and placements are happening. About 40%-45% of students got placed. The highest salary was 19 LPA from Oracle, and the lowest was 3.6 LPA by Infosys. Companies like Oracle, TCS, Infosys, Dell, and BigBinary are hiring students. For internships, only 3 to 4 companies like Oracle, Dell, and Deshow are coming. Not many students, maybe 5% to 10%, get internships. Most students in my branch are getting jobs in web development and AI/ML roles.
Campus: The college facilities are just okay, nothing too fancy. The Wi-Fi works well, labs are stocked, and many classrooms have smart boards. But the buildings are pretty old. The hostels are not great because they're old, and the food in the mess is terrible. On the bright side, there's a canteen and medical help on campus. And I love that we have a big field for playing cricket and football.
