Admission: The professors at our college are super smart. They've got resumes that are like 25 pages long! They teach really well, using PowerPoints and the board when they need to. The stuff we learn is spot on for real-life jobs. The exams are kinda tough, and not everyone passes. It all comes down to the professor, really.

Placement: The job placements at our college are pretty good. Last year, about 76% of B.Tech students got placed, which is nice. Every year, more and more students are getting placed. The top salary offered is 66 lakhs per year. In my Mechanical branch, 72% of students found jobs. The highest salary offered is 51 lakhs per year, and the lowest is 6.5 lakhs per year. Overall, the job placements here are decent.

Campus: The college campus is pretty decent. Some hostels are old but still in good shape. Others are newer with top-notch facilities. The food is alright, and if there's an issue, we can complain. The canteen serves good food at reasonable prices. There are two big grounds and one small one. Plus, each hostel has a badminton and basketball court.

Admission: The courses are pretty technical, but you get to do a bunch of projects with the teachers. We cover project management, stats, prediction models, machine learning, and basic management stuff. The teachers really know their stuff and have good industry connections. It helps us see how things work in the real world.

Placement: There are great opportunities for management consulting at big companies like Morgan Stanley and Barclays, as well as PSU jobs like Ireda and IDBI Bank. You can also find roles in business analytics and product management. Salaries range from 9 LPA to 30 LPA, with an average of 12-13 LPA. The MBA program fee is only 4 LPA. Overall, it's a really good college with lots of potential.

Campus: The school is great compared to others. The food is really good, and the campus is beautiful. There are lots of activities to do. Our teachers are top-notch and give us lots of support. The school is really supportive of start-ups. You can think freely here. The Wi-Fi is awesome, and the library has tons of books and Bloomberg subscriptions.

Admission: The professors are okay, but not always super friendly. Sometimes it's hard to stay focused in class because not all teachers are great. Self-studying and watching online lectures really help. Professors are there to answer questions, but most of the learning comes from putting in your own effort. Each year is split into two semesters, and we have mid and end-semester exams, plus two quizzes for each subject. The curriculum balances theory with hands-on learning. The workload can be tough sometimes, but it teaches important skills like time management, problem-solving, and meeting deadlines stuff you need for any job.

Placement: The placements at IIT (ISM) Dhanbad went down this year. But if you're good at your studies, you'll still get a job. About 70% of students in the mechanical department (my branch) got placed this year. They offer an average package of 13 LPA. The middle package is 10 LPA, and the highest is 52 LPA. Big companies like Tata Steel, Bajaj, Mahindra, Jaguar Land Rover, hire from our college.

Campus: The campus is changing, with new buildings coming up. The library is awesome, and there's a cool old building on campus too. The garden is well-kept, adding a nice touch to the place. The lecture hall is okay but doesn't have AC. It's not as good as the top IITs. Each hostel has its own canteen with different food options like RD, Dominos, and Barista. The health center gives free medical help and even has ambulances. There are sports facilities with fields, courts, and a swimming pool. They've also added smart boards and projectors for classes.

Admission: Recently, there's been a shift in the faculty with more younger professors coming in. The course has gotten a refresh, but it's definitely more challenging now. They're working on making it even better, and clubs and activities really add to the experience here.

Placement: The Electrical branch is known for its circuits and has good placement opportunities. Around 80% of students get placed, which is pretty good. The average salary offered is between 15-20 LPA, with the highest package being 60 LPA. The course structure is new and the professors are still improving.

Campus: The course doesn't have its own building, but there's a new academic building. It's got a really big hostel with 13 floors that can fit more than 2,000 students.

Admission: The teachers here are experts but not very supportive. They don't teach us everything we need to know. The stuff we learn is outdated, and the exams aren't too hard. It's frustrating because they don't focus on the important stuff in class or in the tests. Grading is kind of sloppy, so exams are tough for us.

Placement: There are lots of job opportunities in my course. Companies offer salaries from 3 LPA to 16 LPA. Big companies want to hire students from this course. Around 80% of students get internships in top companies like Wipro and Railways.

Campus: The college here has the best facilities in town. Wi-Fi works everywhere. Our classrooms are super clean. The library has awesome books. Washrooms are always tidy. But the hostel isn't great. Food is not good at all. Sports are cool though.

Admission: The teachers at this college really know their stuff. They've got a ton of awards in their fields. Some of them are experts in AI and robots. Lots of them have PhDs from top schools worldwide. They're always there to help with research, projects, and career tips.

Placement: The college is improving every year, especially since the IT field took a hit from the pandemic. More companies are showing up to hire new graduates. Students are also doing well with publishing research papers on AI and machine learning.

Campus: The campus has everything we need for our studies, like labs and classrooms. There are sports facilities, medical help, and canteens (even night ones for hostels). It's so green with big trees and lots of space. And there are so many books, journals, and stuff online for research.

Admission: The professors for this course are top-notch. They really know their stuff and the stuff they teach is super useful for anyone studying petroleum. The exams during the semester aren't too hard, so you can still have time for fun stuff. Almost everyone passes with a 98% success rate, so failing is pretty uncommon.

Placement: In my course, most students get good placements, usually more than 85%. It used to be 100% in the past. The highest salary offered is 42 lakhs, while the lowest is around 8 lakhs. Companies like SLB, Exxon Mobile, and Meesho come for recruitment. During internships, about half of the students get placed in companies like Cairn, SLB, and Microsoft. The main roles are in petroleum fields like reservoir engineer and production engineer. Some students also land software engineering jobs at places like Microsoft.

Campus: The girls' hostels here have spacious rooms and super-fast Wi-Fi. The food is top-notch, and Wi-Fi all over campus is speedy. The library is huge, the biggest in Asia! I've spent a lot of time there, studying in interactive classrooms. Professors are quick to help with any questions during class. The education quality is great. Plus, we have medical, sports, and games facilities on campus.

Admission: The faculty here are pretty good. Some are nice, some are tough, especially in the ECE and CSE departments. The teaching is solid and the courses are practical, but we don't get much real-world experience outside of mining and mechanical classes. Exams can vary based on the professor, so it's a bit unpredictable.

Placement: In my course, most students get placed, like around 95%. During training, pay is about 8-10 LPA, then it goes up to 18-20 LPA. Recently, companies hired 2-4 students on average. Some big names were Vedanta, GMDC, Reliance, IFFCO. Tata usually takes 2-3 students for internships. For noncore roles, it depends on how good you are compared to top branch students.

Campus: The Wi-Fi on campus is pretty good, but the grounds and roads could use some work. The library has its own Wi-Fi, but classrooms don't. The hostel food is typical hostel food, but they're trying to make it better by adding a canteen. Each hostel has some food outlets. There are water coolers around campus, but not all of them work. The hostel has a laundry service you can pay for. There's also a salon on campus. The campus is green and nice. They have a health center and sports facilities, which are decent. Plus, there are social and teaching clubs at the college.

Admission: The teachers here are super supportive and always ready to help. You can easily approach them in class or after class if you need any help. The course curriculum is great and prepares you well for job placements or further studies. It can be a bit challenging, but if you study regularly, you'll do well in exams.

Placement: Placements are pretty good, with most students getting jobs. The pay ranges from 6 LPA to 25 LPA, with the average being 8-9 LPA. Companies like Naraina, Allen, and others hire from here. They mainly focus on fields like Ed-tech, data science, and SDE for placements.

Campus: The campus at IIT Dhanbad is huge, covering 393 acres. The hostels are clean and well-kept, with good hygiene and regular cleaning. The food in the hostel mess is pretty decent, and they switch up the menu every month based on the season. Security for students is also taken seriously.

Admission: The semester exams can be tough or easy, depending on the course and the professor. You need to get 80% or higher to pass, but the professor might adjust it. Usually, grades are based on how everyone else in the class is doing.

Placement: The placement opportunities for my course are pretty good, especially in the core side. Lately though, the core placements on our campus haven't been as great as we hoped. But it seems like things are starting to improve because there's a growing demand for my branch. Hopefully, by the time I graduate, the placements will be even better.

Campus: The Wi-Fi, buildings, and stuff like that are pretty good overall. Some of the older hostels aren't that nice though. The food in the hostels can be hit or miss. Some places don't have great choices and the taste isn't amazing. Plus, they don't give you a lot to eat.
