Admission: I go to IIT and the teachers here are awesome. They really know their stuff and are super helpful. Each course has a faculty advisor to guide you. The stuff we learn is right on par with what the industry needs. We have this cool event called Industry-Academic Conclaves every year where we meet industry pros. Exams are a breeze as long as you pay attention in class. You don't need to stress about extra work. Grading is fair and varies from subject to subject.

The average for all B.Tech students was 13.95 LPA, and for us Mechanical students, it was 11.8 LPA. Companies like Sprinkler, Mathwork, and others hired students for different roles in IT, Analytics, and Engineering.

Campus: At IIT Palakkad, the campus has great Wi-Fi everywhere, even in the hostel. There are labs for different subjects, and the computer lab is open 24/7. You can use it anytime! The library is open at specific times. In the hostel, they have free washing machines and a doctor on site for students, plus free medical insurance. The college works with local hospitals, so you can get medical help for free. There are two sports grounds and coaches for different sports. They even prepare us for inter IIT sports events. They provide all the gear we need for sports.

Admission: The teachers at this college are really nice and smart. They all have degrees from other countries. They teach well and prepare us for jobs. The semester exams are tough, and we need to get at least 85%. To get interviews and jobs, we need a CGPA of 7.5.

Placement: Around 80% of students in our course end up getting placed, which is pretty cool. Civil engineers usually get an average package of about 10LPA. Big companies like TCS, Infosys, IBM, and ZS Associate come for recruitment. Some students prefer going into software, but I think sticking to the core side is also a good choice.

Campus: The teachers and campus are awesome. Five teachers are in the top 2% at Cambridge University. We have a new campus now, and the food is great. Lots of clubs are active here. I love the vadya club for singing.
