Admission: The teachers aren't super helpful since it's a mix of online and in-person classes, so we're mostly on our own. The subjects are useful and help us learn well. The passing rate is about 90%, and the tests can be tough.
Placement: A lot of students find jobs after college, and they usually get paid around 12-14 LPA. Big companies like IBM and Infosys come for hiring students. Most students, about 90%, end up with a job. They offer cool roles like IT manager, IT recruiter, and more.
Campus: The college campus is huge, like 502 acres huge! The hostel rooms are really nice and the food there is great. Each department has its own building, which is cool. The hostel facilities are good too. Overall, the college infrastructure is top-notch.

Admission: The classes are all online, and it's kind of hard to interact because most teachers don't let you unmute. So, you can't ask questions or anything. Sometimes, if the teacher isn't into it, they might ignore your messages. The stuff we're learning is good, but how the teachers teach makes a big difference. Exams are online too, and pretty much everyone feels the stress.
Placement: So, there are like around 1,000 students in each batch, which seems like a lot. It makes me wonder how many of us will actually get jobs later. They promised us internships in the fourth semester, but none of the students in my semester got any. So, now I'm not sure about the whole job situation. The first batch hasn't even graduated yet, so we can't really tell how placements will go.
Campus: Honestly, you won't get the full hostel vibe here because the college pushes for campus life in their ads. They said we'd have 15 days of campus fun each semester, but they always cancel, blaming the weather. The hostels are nice though, with clean bathrooms and Wi-Fi in every room. The library is chill with lots of books on different subjects. But the food in the mess? Not so great.

Admission: The teachers really know their stuff and are experts in their field. The course is kinda challenging, but it covers everything we need to know. The exams are fair and not too hard.
Placement: I'm in the first batch of B.Tech in CST+MBA at IIM Bodh Gaya. There isn't a lot of placement info yet, but I know that top companies like Google, Microsoft, Accenture, Amazon, and IBM recruit from IIT Patna. They hire for tech and finance roles, which is cool.
Campus: The classrooms and library are in good shape. Wi-Fi works well in most places and the network is good. Buses run daily on campus and to the city nearby. There's even a hospital on campus with ambulance service.

Admission: The professors for this course aren't all from IIT. Some are from other universities, and most are just Ph.D. students. They're often late for classes and don't finish the syllabus on time. The exams are also not well-organized.
Placement: The placement scene for this course is pretty disappointing. Don't expect to land a top tech job at a big company like FANG just because it's an IIT. In truth, the placement rate is low, and most students end up in sales jobs with low pay instead of tech roles. The internships they offer aren't great either.
Campus: The campus immersion program at this college isn't what you might expect. They don't give you a taste of real IIT life like they claim. The hostel and food situation is pretty bad - it's like they're treating us like B.Sc. students. They cram too many people into one room, and they have a lot of rules that limit what we can do on campus. Plus, there's no bus service for students. It's not the best experience, to be honest.

Admission: At IIT Patna, the professors focus on the course, but some other teachers also give lectures. The curriculum is all about developing practical skills for real-life problem-solving and industry needs. Exams happen online at the end of the semester using a secure Browser. They count for half the marks, while quizzes and assignments make up the other half. Every semester, we have to work on a project worth 100 marks, which the faculty evaluates. The course is the same for us online students as it is for regular B.Tech students. We get to visit the campus for around 8 to 10 days each semester when most B.Tech students are on break.
Placement: So, the first batch is gonna have placements in 2026. It's hard to talk about specific numbers right now. But the college made a WhatsApp group for career stuff. They share internships links and forms there. It's the only help we get from them. Overall, my college has good placement records. The average salary is like 16-17 LPA. But that includes hybrid students too.
Campus: The canteen here has cheap food and good infrastructure. I like the sports facilities they have indoor and outdoor spaces. The gymkhana has a gym, but we can't use it. We can still check out the rest of the gymkhana though. There are two messes: one for us and one for regular B.Tech students. The food quality is better in the other mess.

Admission: The teachers are really cool and helpful. They're all super smart and do a lot of research. The classes are interesting and practical. Exams focus on how well we understand and apply concepts quickly. Almost everyone passes with flying colors.
Placement: The mechanical engineering course here has awesome placement rates, usually from 80-90%. The top B.Tech package goes up to 60 LPA, with an average of 17 LPA. Companies like Meta, Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Wipro, and Deloitte hire a lot. About 60% of students get internships. You can land roles like GET, analyst associate engineer, SDE, and consultant at places like Codenation, Gameskraft, Hero MotoCorp, Toppers, Addverb Technologies, ZS Associate, and PSUs like IOCL, HPCL, ISRO, DRDO, BPCL, and MECON.
Campus: The campus buildings are new and have great facilities. The hostels are nice too, with good food and clean bathrooms. Plus, there's a cool sports complex for staying active. Overall, the infrastructure is top-notch here.

Admission: The teachers here are super helpful and really know their stuff. They've passed a bunch of exams and know a lot. You can pick from a bunch of courses and there's no limits on which one you choose. Plus, these courses set you up for jobs in different industries.
Placement: Everyone gets placed in cool companies like Mahindra, Tata Advanced, Google, and Microsoft. They guarantee 100% placements. No one goes unplaced. You also get internships in companies like Applied Materials, Volvo, and Bosch. It's a great college to join. Big companies like Accenture, Amazon, and IBM come to hire students here.
Campus: The hostels here have everything you need like Wi-Fi, LAN, etc. The central libraries are great too. So, don't think twice about joining this college. There are lots of hostels with their own mess. The food in the mess is really good. Plus, there are plenty of canteens and even a night canteen. You can also find Nescafe here.

Admission: The teachers are pretty good, but having online exams makes it hard to see the value in the degree. The courses are okay, but if the teacher doesn't teach well, it doesn't really matter. You see what I mean? I'm not expecting too much from this place.
Placement: I can't really say much yet since the first group hasn't graduated. But the internship scene looks bad. No student has landed an internship on campus. The support and promises don't seem promising for future placements.
Campus: Living in the hostel isn't a big deal here, but it's good. You can always access the library without any issues. Just a heads up, they might stop you at the gate like you're not a student, especially if you're doing a hybrid degree.

Admission: The teachers here really knew their stuff and were super helpful. I think most of them had Ph.D.s. The way they taught was spot on. The course curriculum was top-notch and prepared us well for real-world jobs. The exams were a bit challenging, but around 80% of us managed to pass.
Placement: Last year, most students in Civil Engineering got placed by December. The highest salary was 40 lakhs per year, the average was 13 lakhs, and the lowest was 10 lakhs. Vedanta and TCS were the top companies hiring from our branch.
Campus: The college has a huge library with tons of books, fast internet, cool labs, and air-conditioned classrooms. The hostel rooms are cozy and you can adjust them. The food in the mess and canteen is top-notch. They also have medical help on campus. The campus is well-managed, and students play sports like volleyball, basketball, tennis, badminton, and cricket at state and national levels.

Admission: The professors all have PhDs, and they're well-known globally. They can be tough, but they're open to hearing us out and adjusting to our speed. The stuff we learn is really useful for getting jobs later. The exams are fair, not too hard, and you just need 30% to pass.
Placement: I heard from seniors that around 80% of final-year students got placed in January. The highest package is more than 60 LPA, while the average is 25 LPA. Big companies like Google, Microsoft, Flipkart, Accenture, Turing, and Adobe hire students. I'm not sure how many students get internships, but companies like Google, Adobe, D. E. Shaw, Microsoft, TCS, Husk Power, Nvidia, Publicis Sapient, Siemens, Cummins, UI Path, and Optum come for internships.
Campus: At IIT Patna, we've got a Tutorial Block, Lecture Hall, and labs with cool gear. The Wi-Fi works everywhere on campus. There's a big library being built and smaller ones for each department. We have four hostels named after famous people and a married hostel too. The food in the mess is decent, not amazing. There's a hospital on campus and lots of sports stuff to do.
