Admission: The teachers here are great they really know their stuff and are always ready to help. Some are better at teaching than others, but overall they're good. The course material is up-to-date and makes sense. It's hard to say how tough it is since it's still pretty new. If you want a good GPA, you'll need to put in the work. Luckily, a lot of students pass this course.
Placement: Most students in my mechanical engineering program got jobs in the first hiring season this year. The highest salary was 54 LPA, while the lowest was 7 LPA. On average, the pay offered was around 20 LPA. Big companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, and Goldman Sachs hire a lot from our department. Around 1 in 5 students land internships at places like Google, Tata, and Adobe. Popular job roles include data analyst, finance, and SDE.
Campus: The room is tiny and you gotta share it with two other students. No AC or cooler in the room, just in the common room which is always crowded. Dogs and cats roam around in the corridors. Food in the mess and canteen is okay. Medical facilities are good. Sports and games facilities are cool. Wi-Fi works well in hostels, classrooms, and library.

Admission: The professors at this college really know their stuff. They're super helpful and easy to talk to whenever you need them. Each subject has about five or six TAs to help out too. The exams can be a bit tough, but most people pass with around a 40% average.
Placement: The placement scene at our college is awesome. IIT BHU is up there with the best IITs for placements. Most students, like 75% to 80%, get jobs through campus placements. The average package is around 22 to 30 LPA, but it varies based on the branch and how skilled you are.
Campus: The campus has Wi-Fi everywhere and three big lecture halls. The library, Srinivas Deshpande Library, has tons of books. There are three grounds: Rajputana, IIT BHU Gymkhana, and ADV.

Admission: The teachers here are really smart, but some of them aren't great at teaching. I found the coaching teachers to be better. There are way too many students in each class, which isn't great. The stuff we learn is okay, but a lot of it isn't very useful in the real world. We have to work really hard to get ready for jobs on our own. The exams are pretty tough, but you can still get a good grade in certain subjects.
Placement: The job placements at IIT BHU Varanasi are awesome compared to other top colleges. For mining, salaries range from 10 to 40 Lacs, with a median of 21 Lacs. Government companies mostly hire for mining. Even core branch students can sit for IT companies like Google and Microsoft. About 70-80% of students get placed. Getting on-campus internships in the third year is tough but possible if you're doing well academically. The average package overall is around 22 Lacs. The placement process here is top-notch compared to other colleges in India.
Campus: The college's infrastructure is kinda old-school and not everyone likes it. They do try to upgrade it though. The Wi-Fi and internet are solid, and the library and reading room are well-maintained. The classrooms and labs could use a makeover. The hostels are mostly outdated, and the food in the mess is just okay. Medical facilities need a lot of work. On the bright side, there are 19 sports you can play on campus, which is awesome. Plus, there are food spots with good prices nearby.

Admission: The professors here really know their stuff and they're super helpful. As long as you pay attention, the teaching is pretty good. The courses they offer are actually useful. Exams can be a bit tough sometimes, but it mostly depends on the class and how you study. Most people pass with flying colors, only a handful end up with some backlogs in a few classes.
Placement: Most of us in my course have found placements, which is great. The highest package is 51 LPA, lowest is 8 LPA, and the average is 19.6 LPA for our batch. Big companies like Microsoft, Google, Goldman Sachs, American Express, etc., come for recruitment. But, not many students get internship offers.
Campus: The buildings at IIT BHU Varanasi are okay, but not amazing. Labs have old stuff, but they work fine. Wi-Fi is good in most places, just a few dead spots. Lecture halls don't have ACs. The library isn't fancy, but it has all the books we need. Hostel rooms are decent first-years share with two others, rest of us have one roommate. Food in the mess is tasty, but canteens are meh because no big brands like Nescafé or Domino's. Medical help is okay.

Admission: The teachers here really know their stuff and are super helpful. They make learning easy and interesting. Everyone working here is friendly and always ready to lend a hand. Our course sets us up for success in the real world. The exams are fair and not too tough.
Placement: Around 70% of students in our course have found jobs after graduating. Some big companies like Mahindra, TCS, and Suzuki Motors hire a lot of students from our college. Many students also get internships with other well-known companies that come to our campus. The highest salary offered is 10 LPA, the average is 6 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA.
Campus: The campus is super clean with lots of greenery around, so you get fresh air. The library is huge and has tons of books. Wi-Fi is available everywhere on campus. The hostel rooms are really cozy and comfy. The food is clean and good quality.

Admission: The teachers here are super smart and have worked at big places like NIRM and ISRO. They mostly just teach and leave, unless we students take the first step. But when we do, they're really helpful and share a ton of knowledge. The department folks treat us like their own kids and support us with anything we need during college whether it's about courses, getting a job, or just general advice.
Placement: The placements in 2024 were way better than in the past years due to the recession. So far, 62% of students in my course got placed, and more placements are still happening. The highest package was 1.1 crore off-campus and 35 lakhs on-campus. The lowest package was 8 LPA, with an average of around 16 LPA. Unfortunately, only 7 out of 125 students got internships, which was pretty low.
Campus: The department has smart classes and labs with cool equipment, but no AC. The hostels have big rooms for 2 students, a gym, common room, AC reading room, parlor, 2 canteens, 4 messes, and a laundry room with 7 washing machines you pay to use. Washrooms are cleaned twice daily, but can still be dirty because of stray animals. There's no space for playing sports in the hostel. The canteen food is great, but mess food gets boring after a while.

Admission: The teachers here are really smart. They mostly got their Ph.Ds. from top colleges like IITs or abroad. In the first year, we study a bit of everything which helps us get ready for work. The exams each semester aren't too tough.
Placement: The placement rate here is awesome about 90% of us land jobs. The top salary offered was around 90 LPA, while the average was about 34 LPA. Most of us end up in core companies, but some go for tech ones too. Samsung and Qualcomm are the big names that come to hire. Nividea doesn't take as many students, though.
Campus: My department's infrastructure is pretty good. It's super close to everything, which is convenient. The hostels here have CCTV cameras, water coolers, vending machines, and a canteen with tasty food. We even have a study room in the hostel. Also, each floor has a common room where we hang out and play table tennis. It's a cool setup overall.

Admission: The professors here are super helpful. Most of them graduated from top IITs. Exams can be tough, but if you keep up with your studies, getting good marks is pretty straightforward. And the best part is, the professors are always there to help you out whenever you need them.
Placement: In my course, most students get jobs after graduation around 70-80%. This year, the highest salary offered is 1.65 CPA, the lowest is 6 LPA, and the average is 19.2 LPA. Big companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Google, and Infosys hire from our college. About 40-50% of students also land internships. Besides, some students opt for government jobs in railways or civil services. Others pursue a career as professors.
Campus: The library at our college is really nice. There's a reading room where we can study. Wi-Fi is available in all buildings and hostels, which is convenient. The food in the mess is decent, with different meals served each day. Everything is kept clean here. We also have a health center on campus that gives out free medicines. At IITBHU, we've got three big grounds for sports and three gyms just for women. It's a pretty good setup overall!

Admission: I really liked the teachers at IIT BHU, especially in Civil Engineering and Computer Science. They know their stuff and are always there to help. The classes are tough but they get us ready for the real world. The exams are hard but fair, which is good for making sure we learn a lot. The campus is a great place to study.
Placement: The packages at IIT BHU are really good. The highest package for Civil Engineering students in the senior batch is around 20 lakhs per year. Apart from big companies like Microsoft, Accenture, Oracle, and Google, the college also brings in new companies for placements.
Campus: I love the huge IIT BHU campus. The Wi-Fi is great, and the labs are super modern. The hostels have everything you need. The sports facilities are awesome, and there's always medical help nearby. Campus life is so lively, and they're always improving things. The departments are really good too.

Admission: The teachers here are awesome! There's about 30 students for each professor, so it's not too crowded. The professors are really friendly and always there to help. They know their stuff and are super passionate about what they teach. They even let us help out on cool projects. The exams are tough, though. They make you work hard and stay consistent.
Placement: Most students get placed after graduation, around 85-90%. The highest salary offered is around 2.2 crores per year. The average salary is 22 LPA, and the lowest is 6 LPA. Companies like Adobe, Oracle, Google, and Microsoft come for placements. It depends on your branch if you get an internship, usually 60-70% of circuital branch students do. The popular roles offered are SDE, business analyst, product manager, and consultant.
Campus: The hostels here are awesome for first and second-year students. They've got everything you need like free Wi-Fi, study tables, cupboards, and tube lights. The food is pretty good too, with lots of variety. They serve chicken three times a week and eggs four times for breakfast. Registering is easy and cheap, you can do it when you sign up for classes.
