Admission: The teachers here really know their stuff and teach well. But it's a bummer that they don't use any cool tech stuff like digital boards in most classes. The labs are kinda outdated too. Seems like they've been doing things the same way for ages.
Placement: Our college gets visits from big companies like TCS, Wipro, and Infosys for placements. Companies like Mahindra also come to hire students. Although the college doesn't arrange internships, students work really hard to get them. The average salary offered is around 7 LPA, with the highest salary going up to 12 LPA.
Campus: The Wi-Fi sucks everywhere hostels, campus, and even the library. My department building is pretty new, just a year old, but the facilities are lacking. The labs are just okay. The cool thing is students run the mess, so if you don't like the food, you can switch up who's in charge. They've got different hostels for each year group. So first-years, second-years, third-years, and fourth-years all stay in separate places.

Admission: The teachers here are pretty cool. Most of them are guest teachers, so they're pretty chill and listen to us. The course content gets updated a lot to keep up with AICTE standards. But honestly, the notes they give us aren't always enough to pass exams. I usually end up watching YouTube or taking online classes to study on my own. The exams aren't super hard though. If you put in some effort, you can definitely pass with no problem.
Placement: The placement scene for core branches isn't great, but for CS and IT, companies like TCS and IBM come to hire students. The highest package is around 10 LPA, with an average of 3.5 LPA. Most students end up as GETs, but not many students from other branches make it past the cutoff.
Campus: The library has a lot of books, but they're old and not taken care of. There are only a few books mentioned in the syllabus. The labs for subjects like EE have old machines that don't work well, and the lab sessions aren't very useful.

Admission: The teachers here are super helpful. They all passed their entrance exams to get in, so they really know their stuff. The course content is spot-on for what we need in the industry. It's not too tough to pass the semester exams they're more on the average side. Most of the students (around 80%) manage to pass without too much trouble. It's a pretty good setup overall.
Placement: Around half of the students landed jobs in good companies after graduation. The civil course offers packages ranging from 3 to 9 LPA. Big companies like Tata, Godrej, Reliance, and Larsen and Toubro hire from our college. About a third of students got internships at Tata and Reliance. They typically get roles as mechanical engineers.
Campus: The college has awesome facilities. Classrooms are super cozy with good furniture. Wi-Fi and library are top-notch. The hostel facilities are just okay. Food here is really good. Medical help is nearby. And there's a great sports ground ready for any game.

Admission: The best thing about this college is the teachers. They're all Ph.D. holders or NEAT qualified. They're really helpful with both academics and personal stuff. The semester exams aren't too hard. Most questions are repeated from previous years. There are 70 marks for theory, 30 for practical, and 20 for semester exams out of a total of 150. The rest of the marks are for attendance and student behavior. You need at least 22 marks out of 70 to pass the theory exam.
Placement: The college didn't have great placement results. Only about half of the students got jobs in companies like TCS, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, and Capgemini. The highest salary was 12 LPA, and the average was 3.5 LPA. Sadly, the college doesn't help with internships, so students have to find them themselves.
Campus: The college campus is huge, covering 250 acres. The buildings are pretty old, but the AI department building is well-maintained. Wi-fi is available everywhere, and the library is massive. The classrooms are spacious and have good air conditioning. There are 8 boys hostels and 3 girls hostels on campus. The food in the mess isn't great, I'd rate it a 6 out of 10 for quality and hygiene. Each hostel has its own sports ground. The campus and hostels are full of greenery, making it a really eco-friendly environment.

Admission: I really liked how the college does exams each semester for theory and practical subjects. The final grades come from a mix of internal assessment, assignments, and lab work. To do well, you gotta prep properly and study regularly.
Placement: I loved studying at this college! They helped 70% of students find jobs with salaries from 3 LPA to 9.5 LPA. Big companies like L&T, TCS, Infosys, and Volvo hired students. The best packages were in Mechanical, CSE, IT, and AI. It's great to see the college connecting students with good job opportunities.
Campus: The college buildings are mostly fine, but some departments like AI and MT have new buildings which is cool. However, the library isn't open 24/7, so it can be tricky to get study materials sometimes.

Admission: The teachers here are really smart, they all have Ph.Ds. The faculty is great and they teach really well. There are a lot of clubs you can join to improve your skills. The exams are not too hard. We have 2 mid-semester tests and then the final exam. Most students, about 90%, pass their exams.
Placement: In 2024, TCS visited our college and offered good pay. The top salary is 12 LPA, the lowest is 4 LPA, and the average is 5 LPA. About 60% of students land internships. Mechanical students can get an internship at the nearby Vehicle Factory Jabalpur.
Campus: The college has a nice infrastructure, but the building for first-year students is kinda old, although it's been renovated. They're planning to have a new building next year. The hostel isn't that great in terms of infrastructure, but considering the fee is only Rs 2500 per year, it's not bad. And for the mess, it's about Rs 2500 per month.

Admission: The senior faculty here are super experienced, with most of them having master's or Ph.D. degrees from top colleges like IITs and NITs. But the younger professors aren't as great. The course feels old-fashioned, not keeping up with today's AI-driven world. It doesn't prepare us well for the industry. The semester exams are kinda average in difficulty. But getting a high CGPA is tough. The pass rate is around 70%, so it's not a walk in the park.
Placement: The placement scene at JEC Jabalpur isn't great. For popular branches like CSE and IT, only about half to sixty percent of students manage to get placed. In 2023, the highest package on campus was 10 LPA, and off-campus, it went up to 52 LPA. Companies like TCS, Wipro, and L&T are the top recruiters. It's tough to land an internship without the college's support. Most students have to hustle and find internships on their own. For core companies, WCR railways and PWD construction offer internships, but they are unpaid.
Campus: The campus at JEC Jabalpur looks pretty old because it was set up way back in 1947. The buildings definitely need a facelift. But hey, the new Artificial Intelligence and Mechatronics branch has a shiny new building with all the cool stuff like lifts and CCTV cameras. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi situation isn't great, especially in the library. And let's talk about the hostel food - it's not the best. Plus, some of the hostel students can be a bit rowdy. I've even heard stories about seniors ragging juniors.

Admission: The professors here are super smart, most of them got their PhDs from IITs. They really care about us, especially our HOD, MS Bhavna Jhariya. She's always thinking about how we're doing. The stuff we learn might seem a bit old, but it's still useful. Exams can be tough, but you can get through by cramming the night before. By the end of the program, you'll be ready for a job. Right now, though, the job placements in EC aren't the best.
Placement: Placements have gotten a lot better lately. Our new principal, Mr. Rajeev Chandak, is really doing a great job. About 80% of students found jobs this year, mostly in IT. It's a big step up from previous years. The highest pay package is around 15 LPA. On average, students are making between 5 to 6 LPA. There's still room to grow in other areas besides IT. Overall, the college is on the right track.
Campus: The EC department may not have the newest facilities, but the teaching quality is top-notch. The atmosphere is really disciplined and peaceful. The hostel is clean and there's no ragging happening. However, the food in the hostel is not great at all. You might want to find other options for meals.

Admission: The professors here really know their stuff and are super helpful. They all have Ph.D.s in their subjects. The teaching is pretty good, like at most colleges. Students work hard to get job opportunities and look for internships. The semester exams are a breeze at this college.
Placement: Around 70% of students usually find jobs each year. IBM gives the best offer at 12 LPA. The lowest offer is about 3.5 LPA, and the average is around 6 LPA. TCS, Wipro, Reliance, and IBM are the top companies that hire here. Overall, the job scene is decent.
Campus: The college's infrastructure is okay, not amazing because it's been around since 1947. There's a huge library with lots of engineering books and good Wi-Fi. But the hostel buildings aren't great and you have to share rooms with others.

Admission: The teachers at our college are super knowledgeable. Some have Ph.Ds while others are still studying. We have a cool lab that helps us learn practical stuff for our future careers. It's all about getting ready for the real world!
Placement: Most students get jobs every year, around 75% to 80%. The highest salary was 45 LPA at Amazon in 2021 and 23 LPA at Walmart in 2022. On average, people get around 4.5 to 5 LPA. Big companies like HCL, Wipro, and Infosys hire a lot from here. What's cool is the strong alumni connections. Our college started way back in 1947. It's the second oldest engineering college in India after IIT Roorkee. Also, we were the first to do electronics and telecommunication engineering.
Campus: The college has great facilities. There's a huge library with lots of books and good labs. The building is pretty old, like around 76 to 77 years, so it's just okay. Every year, we have a sports fest called Aavahan.
