Admission: There are four departments here. The teachers are really good and have doctorates. We get to go on trips related to our subjects, and most of our theory classes include hands-on practice. One department has a lot of guest speakers too.
Placement: A bunch of seniors landed jobs through campus placement. Companies like VST Tillers and Kirloskar Pumps hired some of them. VST Tillers even had our agri engineers working as Technical Trainers. They paid 13,000 plus 500 for food and stay daily. In the final year, everyone does an internship as inplant training. We got 8,000 as a stipend during that time.
Campus: The Wi-Fi works for 24 hours, which is cool. The computer lab isn't as good as some other colleges, though. The chemistry and physics labs are kinda lacking, but the electrical lab is alright. The geotechnical engineering lab and HMT labs are pretty good, though. The library has enough books for everyone, plus there's a book bank where you can get books for half price. The canteen serves really good food, and the hostel rooms fit 4 people comfortably.

Admission: The teachers are super nice and know their stuff. They motivate us to consider writing as a career. The classes are great and we use English to talk. The syllabus covers cool topics like artificial intelligence and nanotechnology. We also get to do field work and learn new skills. It's all pretty awesome!
Placement: I'm a senior student here (from the 2021 batch). Around 10% of students get placed here. Most of the placements are for B.Tech biotechnology students. If you're in B.Sc. hons agriculture, it's more research-focused. So, not many job placements like B.Tech. But if you do well, you can land farm officer roles or other company jobs. And if you pass exams like PSC, UPSC, IBPS, there are different job options for agri grads.
Campus: The place isn't too bad. They have good facilities for girls and boys to stay. The food is decent, and students manage the mess. The labs are okay, but some equipment needs fixing. We get a good taste of the field while studying here.

Admission: The professors at my college are really famous in Kerala Agricultural University. They're all experts in research, which makes us KCAET students feel lucky. They've studied at top places like IITs and universities abroad. The way they teach is not just in the classroom. They focus on hands-on learning and even take us on industrial visits. I got to go to National Ilan University in Taiwan, which was amazing! We have 8 semesters of classes, with one semester dedicated to industrial training. The course structure here is great for us to understand food right from the basics.
Placement: I'm really happy with how KCAET helped students get good jobs in food industries like Hatsun and Jubilant Food Works. But many students decided to study abroad in places like New Zealand and Canada. The alumni network is great, and the salaries offered were decent, around 1.5 LPA to 3 LPA. Students got roles like production executive and quality controller. Some even got internships at big companies like Pepsico and United Breweries. The placement cell is there to help, but it's up to us to make the most of it. Overall, I feel lucky to be part of this college!
Campus: The college has amazing facilities, even though it's a government college. You don't need to worry about it because the facilities are top-notch. They have classrooms, library, medical facilities, labs, and super-fast Wi-Fi. The labs have cool equipment and give a great learning experience. The canteen serves tasty food and you can choose from the menu. The hostel rooms are nice and cozy. The campus is huge, covering about 100 acres. Campus life is enjoyable.

Admission: There aren't many teachers at this college, but the ones who are permanent are really good at teaching. Even some of the temporary staff are pretty good too. They like to use multimedia in class instead of just reading from textbooks all the time. The student-faculty ratio is around 25, probably because there aren't too many students here.
Placement: There aren't any job placements happening at our college, but only about 40 students graduate in a year. This means less competition compared to other engineering courses. The graduates either work overseas or are getting ready for tougher exams. Right now, the 32nd batch of students is studying as freshmen in the college.
Campus: The college is cool, right by the Bharathappuzha river. It's huge, like 100 hectares big! There are 3 classroom buildings, a library building, and a canteen. Also, there's a Krishi Vijnaan Kendra. The computer lab has its own Wi-Fi, which is awesome. There's a big playground for sports and games they really focus on that stuff here. And they have hostels for both ladies and men, which is convenient. The rooms in the hostel are nice, and the food is good too. The library has all the books you need, and each course has its own lab and workshops. It's a great place to study and have fun!

Admission: The teachers here are awesome at teaching and always have our backs. The courses are up-to-date, like the new artificial intelligence one. And if you wanna dip out after a year or two, you can still snag a Diploma Certificate. The exams each semester can be tough, but even if you're not top-notch, you can still make it through without too much hassle.
Placement: Honestly, not a lot of students get jobs from our college. Most students want to study more instead of working. Plus, there aren't many companies that come here to hire us. But if we keep reaching out to them and show interest in working, more companies might come. The top companies that do come are banks, tractor companies, and irrigation companies.
Campus: Our college has awesome facilities and food in the hostel. They also help us join sports competitions at different levels like inter-agricultural and South Zone. It's better than other government colleges for sure!

Admission: The teachers at our college are super helpful. The classes are not too hard, so we can manage them easily. We use PPTs, do seminars, and have assignments that keep things interesting. There are 39 students for every teacher. We get to visit companies starting in our second year.
Placement: I was a bit disappointed with the placements here. Most students ended up in banking jobs. I'm not sure about the exact placement rates. We do have a placement cell, but they should bring in more companies for job opportunities on campus.
Campus: The college's setup is good, and we're happy with it. They address complaints quickly. There's a nice canteen close by and a snack bar on campus. We had some problems with our hostel before, but the vice chancellor fixed everything.

Admission: Starting from our batch in 2024, the syllabus changed following the Sixth Dean Commission. The course became easier under the new NEP, focusing more on practical skills. It's hands-on and covers various agriculture aspects. The workload is heavy, but it's a great course that gives you peace of mind. We have theory classes for 100 minutes, practicals for 90 minutes, and fieldwork for another 90 minutes each day in Semester 1. In the 3rd year, there's an all-India tour. The facilities are top-notch, and all the professors have doctorates. Overall, it's been a good experience so far.
Placement: The campus placement here isn't great. You might need to take a government exam or apply for jobs on your own. But there are many job opportunities in both public and private sectors, so finding a job with decent grades shouldn't be too tough. Companies like Cadbury, Reliance, and Tata also come for placements. The field is very diverse, so you can find jobs in pharmaceuticals, food companies, and more. Some people also go for UPSC.
Campus: The college has awesome infrastructure overall, but the hostel could be better. They've got Wi-Fi, labs for all departments, and a massive library. The toilets are clean and well-maintained. The new UG building for B.Sc. Agriculture is in great condition. The classrooms are equipped with projectors, platforms, podiums, and around 4 or 5 ACs in each class.

Admission: The course curriculum tackles real-world issues, which is cool. The teachers are smart and supportive. They give us resources for our studies and chances for internships. Exams are okay, not too hard, but they cover important stuff. You need at least a 50% to pass, which is fair.
Placement: Most of us have found jobs after studying here, around 70%. Salaries range from 30,000 to 4-5 lakhs. The best job opportunities are in Australia. Our course opens up a lot of doors in a growing field.
Campus: The classrooms have smart boards, blackboards, and air conditioning. They also have fast Wi-Fi. The computer lab and library are great too. The hostel rooms are big and comfy. The food in the mess is just okay, but they really push sports and arts, which is awesome for our hobbies.

Admission: The teachers at our college are great. They all have PhDs. The exams aren't too hard. We usually get fair questions on the test. Getting a 50% is good enough. We have exams at the end of each semester. And if you don't do well, you can retake the test to try and improve your grade.
Placement: Studying B.Tech. in Biotechnology is super popular. About half of the students get jobs after finishing the course. Biotech engineers can earn at least 10 LPA. The course helps us build skills like critical thinking, practical knowledge, and more. Big companies like Pfizer and GlaxoSmithKline hire from our college.
Campus: The course I'm taking is all about agriculture biotechnology, so there's a lot of support for that field here. They have everything you need like Wi-Fi, a library, labs, and nice classrooms. The hostel is pretty good too, with a mess and canteen that serves food at reasonable prices.

Admission: There are a lot of top-ranking students at our college since the beginning. We've also done well in sports events at the university level. The teachers really know their stuff and the courses are well-organized. They're always there to help and the classes are really good. It's a supportive environment here.
Placement: I really like the variety of opportunities at our college. Since it's new, there aren't too many placements available yet.
Campus: The college and hostel have Wi-Fi, which is great. The classrooms and library are good for studying. The mess food is good too. Also, we have smart classrooms that make learning easier.
