Admission: The teachers at the college are really smart and always ready to help out. They teach really well here. Some of our subjects have hands-on classes so we can understand better. The campus is super green and eco-friendly. If you're into textiles and fashion, we go on trips to see how things work in the industry. For fashion students, we get to check out cool fashion shows and other events. There are plenty of great chances to shine here.
Placement: The placements at our college were way better than the seniors. A lot of students in our batch got job offers even before graduating. The highest salary offered was around 25-30 LPA, while the lowest was around 15-20 LPA. Most companies were for styling and visual merchandising, but there were some for textile and fashion too.
Campus: Our campus has all the facilities we need. Being one of India's top fashion colleges, we get to experience the real fashion industry. The lecturers and assistants are really helpful and always around for us. The hostels are close by, which saves us time to do other activities.

Admission: The teachers here aren't really into teaching, they just do it for the job. The course doesn't help us much. It's more about getting good grades than actually learning. They don't encourage our creativity, especially in a creative field like design. It feels like they're training us to be workers, not designers. We don't get to see much of the industry either.
Placement: In 2017, the job placements were disappointing. Not many companies came to our college, and the ones that did didn't give good salaries. Because of this, a lot of seniors skipped the placements. And even those who did go didn't end up getting hired. The pay offered during placements is usually pretty low, and only about 5% of students actually land a job from them.
Campus: The campus buildings are organized well, and each department has its own space. Wi-Fi is available everywhere. The computer labs are pretty good, but the computers don't always have good protection, so sometimes files get messed up. All students get medical insurance, which is cool. The labs are nice, but sometimes it's crowded because the number of students has gone up, but the labs stayed the same. This can make it hard to focus and get work done when there are too many people in one lab.

Admission: The course material is outdated and doesn't prepare us well for the industry. Although there are 3 internships, they don't really help us get job-ready. Some teachers show favoritism, which is unfair. There's a feedback system for teachers, but no one actually keeps track of it.
Placement: Placements haven't been sorted out yet because of Covid-19. Last year, the placements weren't great - some students didn't get placed, and others got low-paying jobs. Overall, placements at our college are below average.
Campus: The Mumbai campus of NIFT has got it all. We've got top-notch facilities like a great resource center, Wi-Fi, and a new building with AC. The hostel is well-kept and the food is really good. In our course, we have labs for pattern making and garment construction. There's also a testing lab in other departments that we can access with permission. Lots of different machines here that we use in the garment industry. Love it here!

Admission: The teachers at the college were pretty helpful. Some of them weren't great at talking to students, though. The practical exposure was really good for understanding the industry. There were fewer faculty members than students. The course curriculum was okay, but it didn't lead to high-paying job offers.
Placement: Getting placed through our college's placement cell was a terrible experience for me. I ended up in a shady company with no proper workspace, no computers, and not even a washroom. There were no experienced designers to learn from, so I had to quit. This setback really hurt my career. I had to switch jobs three times to find a decent one, and I'm still on the hunt for a good job.
Campus: The college has good facilities. The washrooms are super clean and the classrooms are in good shape. The canteen has a lot of options to choose from, but the food quality is not as great as what you'd find outside. You can get fast food or a full meal at the canteen for a decent meal.

Admission: The teachers are ready for class and can be helpful. There's about one teacher for every 30 students. We don't get much real-world experience here. The courses cover a lot of topics that can make you well-rounded. The teaching is pretty basic and sometimes old-fashioned. Not many teachers try to make things more interesting or make sure we understand everything.
Placement: The placements here are kind of disappointing. It seems like fewer students are getting jobs each year. We have to find internships and jobs on our own. The teachers don't have many industry connections to help us out. Sometimes students do get placed, but other times it's not so great.
Campus: The new building is awesome, with good facilities like Wi-Fi and central A/C. The resource center is big, and the hostel is nice. But the old building doesn't have any support for disabled students. The food in the canteen is okay, but it's hard to judge because the contractor changes a lot.

Admission: The college has a wide curriculum that helped me gain knowledge in different fields. Some teachers are really helpful and want students to do well, but others have a different teaching style. They sometimes neglect students and find teaching to be a burden.
Placement: The job opportunities from the college aren't great. They don't really help much. But most students prefer finding jobs on their own to meet their needs better. Some teachers might help, but it seems like they play favorites.
Campus: The college has awesome infrastructure with lots of labs and classrooms. They have the latest gadgets and everything is well-kept. There's a huge resources center with tons of books on everything from fashion to art history. It's like a book lover's paradise!

Admission: The teachers here are super knowledgeable and always ready to assist students. If you're struggling with something, they go out of their way to help you out. Sometimes, they bring in experts from other places for special classes. By the time you reach the third year, they make sure you get some industry exposure too.
Placement: Last year, the job placements were pretty good. Some students got up to 16 LPA, while most were landing jobs around 7-8 LPA. Even companies from abroad came for internships. Almost everyone found a decent job.
Campus: The college's infrastructure is pretty good. They have Wi-Fi everywhere and computer labs that are open 24/7. You can also find a library on campus. Plus, there's a hospital nearby that takes insurance. And if you're into sports, they've got a nice ground and tennis court.

Admission: The course layout is great and spread out across eight semesters. In the first year, we learn the basics of arts and fashion. Then, in the following years, we dive into specialized topics for our department. After the third year, we do a two-month internship in the industry to get some hands-on experience and learn from mentors. The professors are really supportive and inspiring.
Placement: NIFT, Mumbai is known for great placements. Almost all students get jobs with good pay. The internships really help us understand what the industry needs. We learn to work in tough conditions that prepare us for the future.
Campus: I go to NIFT in Mumbai, which used to be in Dadar but now it's in Navi Mumbai. The campus is in a really peaceful spot, surrounded by nature. The labs have all the stuff we need for our classes. The resource center has tons of books to help us out. And the best part is, we get free Wi-Fi all over the college. Plus, there's a cool gym on campus that we can use for just Rs. 250 a month. It's awesome!

Admission: The teachers here are OK, not amazing. But when you do an internship with companies, that's when things get interesting. You learn a lot about what's happening in the market right now. The course is good and gets you ready for the industry.
Placement: Most students in our course got jobs after graduating. The highest salary offered was 12 LPA, while the average was around 5-6 LPA. The lowest was 3 LPA. Companies like Shahi Exports, Vardhman, and Orient Craft come for placements. We all have to do an internship in the garment industry as part of our course. After graduation, we can get roles in management, sales, marketing, and quality departments.
Campus: The college's infrastructure is top-notch. Everything you need is right on campus. The hostel can house around 450 students and has cool stuff like a TV room, library, study area, play area, beauty salon, and gym. The food at the hostel is okay, but the fee is a bit steep considering what you get.

Admission: In this course, there are no exams, just jury presentations where we show all our work from the semester. Everything we learn helps build our portfolio. Choosing the Mumbai campus opens up tons of opportunities off-campus, which makes it really enjoyable.
Placement: The Accessories Design course at NIFT Mumbai has awesome placement rates of over 90%. Salaries range from 3.5 to 13 LPA, which is great. Big companies like Titan, Amazon, and Flipkart come for hiring, offering roles like Product Designer and UI/UX. Students also get internships at Fastrack and Tata. The course covers jewelry, smart wearables, and digital design. Plus, lots of alumni end up starting their own businesses.
Campus: The girls hostel is really nice. The food isn't amazing, but it's better than a lot of other hostels. The college buildings are also great. They listen to complaints and fix things right away. The library has awesome books that are expensive and hard to find. Check it out!
