Admission: Exams in this semester were really tough. We had to study a lot to get decent marks. The internal exams were also challenging, but we had to keep up with the syllabus they taught us. It was difficult to score well in both internal and semester exams.
Placement: A lot of students landed jobs after college. To get a job, you usually need a 7 CGPA. It's tough for average students to get high-paying jobs, but if you work hard, you can make it happen.
Campus: The sports and medical facilities here are great. The mess and canteens could be better, but we can work with it. The food in the mess isn't always consistent - some days it's good, but other days it's not so good. It's okay though, since we have many options for eating on campus.

Admission: The teachers at this college really know their stuff! They're super qualified and know their subjects inside out. They teach in a way that's easy to understand, focusing on real-life examples. The courses cover what's important in the field. The exams are pretty challenging, but most students manage to pass with over 80%.
Placement: The job offers are pretty good - the highest is around 20 to 25 Lacs a year, and the lowest is 15 Lacs a year. About 80% of us got placed in our course. The top companies that hire from here are food industries, TATA, Mahindra, and others. They offer some cool roles too.
Campus: The college is great for students! The classrooms are nice, and each course has its own workshop. The library is really helpful. The labs are modern, and there are lots of sports fields. The hostels are cool, and the campus has good buildings and clean washrooms. Love it!

Admission: The course curriculum is solid. It gives us a good foundation for the future. The teachers are really nice and always ready to help. We have three exams every semester, which can be tough, but most students pass with over 80%.
Placement: Most of us in our group landed jobs in good companies, which was awesome. The highest salary offered was 42 LPA, and the average was around 16 LPA. Some of us also got internships at places like Google, Samsung, and Sandisk. The popular roles were programme develops and digital and analog designers. It was a great experience overall!
Campus: The campus has awesome facilities like digital classrooms, super cool air conditioning labs, Wi-Fi, and a library. Hostel rooms come with a bed, study table, internet, and LAN cable. There are sports facilities and a gym. Plus, they offer free medical services for all students. It's great!

Admission: The teachers here are really experienced and they're always around to support us. They change the course content every year to give us the best chances. The exams are tough, but it's no surprise since we're the 3rd best in architecture according to NIRF.
Placement: The architecture department at NIT Calicut has a decent salary range of 3-5 lakhs per year. Around 5-6 students out of 60 usually find placements. Every student needs to do an internship, mostly in the fourth year. LNT is one company that hires students from here.
Campus: NIT Calicut has Wi-Fi everywhere on campus and in hostels, which is great. Students can use the labs and computer labs easily. The food in the mess might take some time to get used to, especially for students from different places. But there are different messes with different types of food, so you can pick what you like. The college has sports teams that compete with other NIT colleges. And there's a health clinic open 24/7 for students, which is really helpful.

Admission: The curriculum keeps changing, which is good. The teachers are nice. We have exams almost every week for 1 or 2 subjects, and they cover what we learn that week. Every test is important for our final grade. At first, we started with the basics. But as we go on, we get into the tougher stuff.
Placement: The placement rate here is pretty good at around 84%. As a civil engineering student, we have loads of choices for jobs. There are core jobs, IT jobs, and even government jobs to apply for. To land a core job, you gotta keep your CGPA at 9. The average salary package is about 8 LPA.
Campus: The campus has good infrastructure with well-maintained buildings and hostels. Any issues are usually fixed within a few days after we report them. There are multiple mess halls, each with its own menu, so we can choose where to eat.

Admission: The teachers and staff are super supportive and inspiring. The coursework might be tough, but if we study well, we can handle it. The pass rate is usually between 80% to 90%. For harder classes, it can drop to 60% to 70%, but it all comes down to how ready we are.
Placement: I'm Charan, studying Civil Engineering at NIT Calicut. In my batch, we have around 200 students. The highest salary offered is around 20 LPA, and most students get jobs with an average salary between 8 to 10 LPA. While there aren't set companies that recruit every year, the overall job placement rate is pretty decent.
Campus: The classroom is pretty big, around 40 feet tall and 20 meters wide. The labs and experiments facilities are amazing. The food could be improved, it doesn't taste like home. But the sports encouragement is really good here.

Admission: We mostly show up for attendance. The teachers try to teach, but it's hard to follow. A few professors are awesome though. Doing assignments is a big deal because they impact your grades a lot. You have to keep learning all the time. The mid-term exams are pretty challenging.
Placement: Almost all students who applied for jobs got one. Keeping your grades up is important. It's good to know coding. Being able to communicate well is key. The average salary is okay, not like crazy high amounts. Internships don't really affect your chances during placements.
Campus: The food and hostel are nice, but the buildings are pretty old since our college has been around for a while. The campus is okay, but it feels a bit behind the times. Everything seems a bit outdated compared to the fancy private schools.

Admission: The teachers at our college are really good. They got in after passing a tough exam. They know their stuff and are pros at teaching. The exams are hard, but if you study regularly, you can pass them easily.
Placement: Not many students from my course got placements because there were so many courses offered at the college. The package was pretty decent since it's an NIT college. I got an 8 LPA package, which I'm happy with. The average package was 7 LPA. Around 60% of students in my course landed internships.
Campus: I really liked everything about the college. The Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and library were all clean and well-kept. They even offered medical facilities, which was great. The campus had a big ground for students. The only downside was that there weren't any sports or games facilities, which was a bummer.

Admission: The faculty here are a mix some are really good at explaining things, while others just stick to the slides. The course is cool because we dive into the main subjects right from the start. It helps us focus on our branch subjects early on and start doing projects by the third year. Exams are okay, kinda depends on the teachers. About 90% of students pass, so that's a good thing.
Placement: This year, almost all EEE students got placed, which is awesome. The top package in CSE is 67 LPA, while in EEE, it's 43 LPA. The average package overall is 10 LPA, but in EEE, it's even better at 13 LPA. We had around 195 companies visiting for placements this year, which is great for job opportunities.
Campus: The campus has nice buildings and lots of greenery which makes studying here enjoyable. In the 1st year hostels, there are 3 people in each room. For 2nd and 3rd year, it's 2 people per room, and 4th year students get single rooms. There are many mess halls on campus, but the food quality varies. The best part is the sports facilities and games available. However, the gym lacks proper equipment.

Admission: The teachers here are super supportive. They're not just teachers, they really shape us. They help us with any struggles we're going through, whether it's mentally, physically, or academically. The courses are set up to prepare us for real-life challenges. The exams are fair, not too hard. You just need to put in some effort to do well.
Placement: Most students in civil engineering get jobs here, about 90%. Our campus has great placement opportunities. Big companies like Amazon and Google visit us. Our placement drive is one of the biggest in the state. Internships are really valuable here too.
Campus: The campus has Wi-Fi everywhere in classes, public areas, and even in the hostel rooms! It's great for studying. The infrastructure is solid too. Plus, the food on campus is top-notch. The hostel food is just as good. Can't complain about that!
