Admission: The teachers here are really helpful. They teach important subjects and provide PDFs. They take good care of us. The semester exams are not too hard, but the faculty is strict. About 40% of students pass. The first semester may feel random, but it gets better later on. The faculty members are nice and explain things well.
Placement: In my course, there are around 120 students split into 2 sections, each with 60 students. Last year, the highest package was 51 LPA, and the average package was 10 LPA. Companies like Samsung, Nokia, Wipro, Reliance, and Jio come to our college to hire ECE students. A lot of students from our course got internships. We also get opportunities for designing and testing roles.
Campus: The college has labs with at least 3 teachers for each one. They're clean and tidy. You can use Wi-Fi and LAN here. The library is good. The food is decent, not bad. The canteen is good too. There's a hospital nearby. And we also have sports and games to enjoy.

Admission: The teachers here are super helpful and know their stuff. They're good at teaching and you can reach out to them even after class. The course content is mostly spot on and gets you ready for real-world work. Exams can be a bit tough, ranging from medium to hard. Most students pass though, around 95% of us.
Placement: The college has awesome placement rates around 91% for CSE students and 80% overall. The highest salary package is about 50-60 LPA, with an average of 19 LPA for CSE grads. The lowest is 4 LPA. Big companies like Microsoft, Google, JP Morgan, and Morgan Stanley come for recruitment. Every CSE student gets internships with companies like Microsoft, IBM, and Sun Pharma. It's a great place for landing a good job after graduation!
Campus: The college has great facilities. There's a huge sports complex for outdoor games like cricket, football, and basketball. The computer labs are good, but some have really old computers like 7th Gen. The library is open all day for guys and until 8:30 PM for girls. Hostel facilities are nice, food is decent, and there's a health center for when you're sick they even send an ambulance if you can't walk.

Admission: The senior teachers really know their stuff and they help us a lot. They're all super engaging. The teaching is good here at our college. The course content is spot on and it's put together by experienced faculty. It gives us a good understanding of our industry. We have exams three times a semester: mid-semester 1 and 2 (worth 15 marks each), practicals and teacher assessments (20 marks), and a final exam worth 50 marks. They're not too tough and you can pass by studying just half an hour a day. The questions come from our notes, so that's helpful. You need a 40% to pass in both internal and external exams.
Placement: Around 64% of us in civil engineering got placed, which is pretty good. The highest salary offered was 26.64 LPA, while the lowest was 3.36 LPA. Most of us landed jobs with companies like Accenture, Hero, and Infosys. Some of us even got internships at places like IBM and Wipro. The main job roles we got were in design, material testing, and quality control. Overall, the average package was around 7.88 LPA.
Campus: The facilities at our college are pretty good. Wi-Fi is available in certain areas like some departments. The classrooms are big enough for a good number of students. They're even putting air conditioning in all the classrooms. The library is decent too, with AC, fans, desert coolers, and fast Wi-Fi. The hostels have Wi-Fi and the food is not bad. We also have good medical services with ambulances. The canteen food is yummy and affordable. And there's a huge sports complex with a gym and lots of games to play.

Admission: The teaching is okay because most of the time you gotta learn on your own. Some teachers are great and know their stuff, but others don't really help with your questions. But I gotta say, the mechanical course is actually pretty good. The stuff we learn is useful and the exams are not too hard. It's a decent challenge, but most students manage to pass.
Placement: I studied Mechanical Engineering at NIT Kurukshetra. The placement rate used to be really good, with 86% of students getting placed. The average salary offered was around 9 LPA, with the lowest being 4 LPA and the highest at 18 LPA. Companies like Tata, Hero Motors, and Mahindra offered placements, along with some cool startup companies. Almost 80% of students got internships at places like Hero Motors. Most of the roles offered were in the core branch.
Campus: The Mechanical department is great here. The classrooms are nice with AC and good ventilation. Wi-Fi is available in the library, labs, and hostels all the time. The hostels are well-ventilated too. They have laundry, geysers in every wing, and canteens. The mess food is just okay, like in most hostels.

Admission: The faculty here are decent. We mostly have to learn on our own, but they're there to help us along the way. They're good at teaching, and we have to take two mid-semester exams worth 15 marks each, plus a final at the end. Oh, and don't forget about keeping up with the 75% attendance rule. Overall, it's not bad.
Placement: The mechanical branch has solid stats. Most students, around 70-80%, land jobs at decent companies. The highest pay is 17 lakhs per annum, while the lowest is 5 lakhs. On average, it's 7 lakhs. Companies like Honda, Hero, Maruti, LnT, and more hire from our course. They offer roles like trainee, operations, analyst, and others. Overall, our placement rates are pretty good compared to other state engineering colleges.
Campus: The college buildings are old-fashioned, but the classrooms have ACs which is good. The hostels are spacious and well-managed with clean rooms. The food in the mess is just okay, not great, but it's fine. Overall, the cleanliness is good. We can't do much about it, so we just have to deal with it.

Admission: The teachers here are really knowledgeable and helpful. They get what we need, but some of them don't always answer our questions and just go through the slides. Luckily, most teachers explain things well. The course is solid, and we learn practical stuff that's useful for real work. The exams are pretty challenging with two midterms and one final exam.
Placement: I'm studying Computer Science, and 60% of my classmates already have jobs. The job situation got better compared to last year. Our internship opportunities are even better, so things are looking up for next year. The best offer so far is from Google, while the lowest is from Infosys. On average, we're talking about 20 lakhs per year. To be honest, internships weren't great for us. Only a few classmates landed jobs at big companies, mostly girls who found opportunities off-campus. Most of the roles available were for software developers.
Campus: The hostels are pretty run-down, especially the washrooms. Most of them have issues, except for one with bad food and one with bad toilets. The LAN in hostels often doesn't work, but the campus Wi-Fi is fast. Classrooms are good, with working AC in the summer. The library and reading rooms are awesome. Girls have lots of sports facilities, but boys don't have much in the hostels. They can always head to the sports ground though.

Admission: The department has a lack of faculty, but the ones we do have are really experienced and know their stuff. I really like how Mr. Parveen Aggarwal teaches he's a great teacher. There are clubs you can join, which is cool. Exams aren't too tough, so if you study for a couple of weeks and understand the concepts well in class, passing is easy.
Placement: Placements here are pretty good. In my department, placements are okay. You can easily find jobs, internships, or training in various companies. In the 2022 placements, over 70% of students got placed. The average pay is around 6 to 6.5 lakhs per year. The highest salary goes beyond 10 lakhs (as per the college website).
Campus: I really like how NIT Kurukshetra looks. The labs may not be super fancy, but they have all the tools you need and you can use them whenever with supervision. The classrooms are decent, not too large but they do the job. And the hostel setup is great, they really take care of it well.

Admission: The semester has three exams. The mid-semester exams are worth 20 marks each. The final exam is worth 50 marks. Teachers also give 10 marks for classroom behavior. Each subject has practice exams that count towards the final grade. The faculty is great for all courses.
Placement: I studied civil engineering and about 23% of us found jobs in the public sector. The highest salary offered was 40 LPA and the lowest was 6 LPA. Nearly half of us landed internships and some even got roles as HR in companies. It's a good field to be in!
Campus: The college has really awesome facilities like a gym, swimming pool, library, and some lakes. The food is great, just like home. Plus, there are canteens open late at night for both boys and girls. There's a cool hotspot at the boys' hostel too!

Admission: The teachers are really nice and ready to help, but sometimes you gotta figure things out on your own. The semester exams aren't too tough, just study hard and you'll pass. You need 23 out of 50 in the final exam, and 15 out of 30 in the mid-semester exams to pass. I'm studying IoT, which is super cool, and the professors are great for this course.
Placement: I'm studying Internet of Things (IoT) in the ECE department. It's a cool course that's gonna be important in the future. But because of the recession, it's been tough for students to get placed. Only a few students have gotten jobs, and the top companies aren't coming for placements. On average, students are getting about 10-12 LPA. The highest salary so far is around 60 LPA. But things will get better, I believe. Some students have even scored internships at companies like Microsoft and Wipro. We're all working hard to push through this tough time.
Campus: NIT Kurukshetra is super pretty with lots of greenery. The campus has a cool cafe called Moxie that has everything you need. There's also a market area with a confectionery shop, grocery stores, cafes, a stationery shop, a photocopy place, a salon, and more. It's a nice place to hang out and grab stuff you need.

Admission: The teachers here are really good and know their stuff. They have a good connection with students. The course content is spot-on for B.Tech and getting ready for jobs. The exams can be tough, though. You need to show up to class a lot and there are a couple mid-terms and a final exam.
Placement: Most students get placed on campus, but some choose off-campus placements too. A lot of us study for the GATE exam and government exams. Big companies like Microsoft, Amazon, and Oracle come for recruitment. The highest salary offered in our course is around 52 LPA, with an average of 20 LPA. By the 6th semester, most of us have internships, but sometimes it happens in the 8th semester.
Campus: The college has good infrastructure for studying. Hostel has lanes available. WiFi is available in labs, classrooms, and the library. Posters are decent quality. There's a common room with games like carrom, table tennis, volleyball, and badminton. Food is okay, but there's no non-veg due to local rules. The college provides good medical care round the clock.
