Admission: Studying in this college, whether it's a self-financing course or any other, mostly involves self-study. The teachers are pretty helpful, and the semester exams can be a bit challenging, but it depends on how much effort you put in. The education here does prepare you for the industry, which is great. Just a heads up, it's better to steer clear of any politics on campus.
Placement: I like how many students get placed after graduation, around 25-40%. The highest package is 6 LPA, while the lowest is 2 LPA. TCS and ICICI Bank hire a lot of students, and Bajaj Finance offers internships too. Over half of students get internships, mostly in assistant or HR roles.
Campus: The university in Odisha has good infrastructure and is well-respected. They don't have hostels for self-financing students, but other courses have them. It's a decent government university, not amazing but still good. They really focus on sports activities. The food is okay, and the libraries are pretty good too.

Admission: The teachers here are really helpful, which is great. The semester exams are kinda tough, but not impossible. They really care about attendance and can be strict about it. They even call your parents if you skip too much. This course won't fully prepare you for the industry. But hey, almost everyone passes with a 95% success rate. So as long as you study hard, passing shouldn't be too hard.
Placement: If you're looking for placements, don't pick History Hons. B.Com and BBA have better placement opportunities at our college. Deloitte also visits for recruitment. History is great if you're passionate about it and willing to take a risk. It can be helpful for UPSC or government job prep, but that might not be the only reason to choose it.
Campus: The college campus is cozy and feels like home. There are 2 libraries and classrooms with digital boards and CCTV in every corner. The hostel rooms are usually shared by 5 or 6 people, which can get a bit exhausting after a while. The food in the mess is not great, but at least the hostel is cheap.

Admission: The bond between students and teachers at our college is really great. The teachers are super smart and know their stuff. But one thing that bothers me is that in our department, it seems like section A and B get more attention than section C. Only PhD students from Ravenshaw teach us in section C, while the professors and lecturers focus on teaching in section A and B.
Placement: Placements here are pretty good, with over 70% of students getting jobs. The highest salary offered is 12 LPA, while the lowest is 3 LPA. Companies like Bajaj and Wipro are top choices for placements. Most students land roles as finance managers. And about 63% of students manage to snag internships too. It's a good place to kickstart your career!
Campus: There are 15 hostel rooms for girls and boys. We've got a library, cafeteria, 2 auditoriums, and a gym. In my department, our classroom fits 300 students and it's all high-tech. We've got Wi-Fi everywhere. The hostels are super clean. The food in the mess is yummy and cheap. Plus, there are sports events and functions organized by Ravenshaw.

Admission: The teachers in my department are great - they're helpful, qualified, and know their stuff. Most of them are on contracts, though. They teach well, but the course curriculum could be better for getting us ready for the industry. You need 40% to pass the semester exams, which is fair.
Placement: The job opportunities in our college are okay. The highest salary offered for our course is around 4 LPA. I heard that about 20% to 30% of students manage to get internships. Companies like Godrej and ICICI Bank come to recruit students. After graduation, students can get roles like civil servants, bank managers, CAs, and scientists.
Campus: The college campus is awesome! The buildings are in great shape, and the garden, playground, and lawns are well taken care of by the staff. The different departments are nicely organized. The classrooms are pretty good, but some need air conditioners and the benches are kind of old. The library is top-notch with AC, high-quality books, and awesome for self-study. The hostel buildings are well-maintained and clean, and the food in the mess is tasty and hygienic. Plus, there are great sports opportunities for students who are into playing at a national level.

Admission: The teachers here are really smart and always ready to help us out. They know their stuff well and make learning easy. The course got a good update because of the new policy. If you pay attention in class, the exams are a breeze.
Placement: Campus placements aren't that great, but getting internships is easier because of the campus reputation. The average package is around 4 LPA, and you generally need a 7.5 CGPA. IT companies are the top recruiters here.
Campus: The infrastructure at this college in Odisha is top-notch. They've got everything you need as a student Wi-Fi, labs, spacious classrooms, a library, and more. The hostel facilities are great too, with well-furnished rooms, clean bathrooms, and study areas. It's a comfortable place to study and live.

Admission: The teachers here are really good and always ready to help. They know their stuff well. The course is designed in a way that matches the NET exam, which is cool. But man, the semesters come around so fast! It feels like we're always rushing to get ready for exams. Luckily, passing isn't too hard. If you just show up to class regularly, you should be fine. You only need to score 33% to pass.
Placement: I want to talk about my Master's in English course. Since it's more focused on literature and not a job-oriented program, we don't have direct placements. We need to pass exams like NET and SSB to work in government or government-affiliated colleges. Some students also try walk-in interviews at various colleges. If they pass, they can work there as guest faculty for a year on a contract basis.
Campus: The department facilities at Ravenshaw University are okay. We have smart classes in all rooms, but only one has AC. The Wi-Fi doesn't reach all areas, and the desks and benches are old. Our department has a good library, which is a plus. There are six girls⢠hostels, and the food in my hostel is good. The mess serves healthy meals. Overall, it's an average experience.

Admission: The teachers at our college are awesome. They cover the syllabus for the OPSC exam really well. One professor got first place and another got second in the assistant professor's exam. The curriculum is top-notch, and we understood everything from the basics. They use smart boards in class which is cool. Exams are pretty tough, though.
Placement: I'm currently studying in the B.A. program, which doesn't offer placements. However, the study curriculum at the college is top-notch. I've heard that science courses like IST and ITEM have great placement opportunities. Placements usually kick off in the third year, and there are plenty of internships available throughout the program. Some even come with stipends, which is a nice bonus.
Campus: This college in Odisha has the best facilities among all government colleges. Each department has its own library, seminar hall, computer lab, and lots of books. Plus, there are two personal libraries for study. They even have two computer libraries and a music library. The whole campus is air-conditioned. The hostels are super clean and the food is tasty. They're really strict about discipline too.

Admission: The teachers were super helpful and really knowledgeable. They all had degrees and knew their stuff, which made a big difference. The BBA course was great and prepared us well for the future. The exams weren't too tough, and almost everyone passed with a 99% success rate. It was a good experience overall.
Placement: Ravenshaw University in Cuttack, Odisha has great placements. In the Bachelor of Business Administration program, 85% of students got placed. The highest salary offered was 16 LPA and the lowest was 6 LPA. Top companies like ICICI Bank, Tata Motors, and Jindal Steel hired students. About 68% of students got internships, mostly in management roles for BBA.
Campus: The college has three libraries: Kanika Library, Central Library, and e-Resources. They've got computers for everyone to use. You can find books for all courses there. The atmosphere is nice, with AC, water coolers, and stuff. Hostels are clean and well-maintained, with water and electricity all day. Food is tasty too. Plus, there's a gym, a big ground, and an outdoor gym for students to use.

Admission: Our college offers the NEP program, which lets students go for a 4-year research degree. But if research isn't your thing, you can still get a regular degree. It's nice to have options!
Placement: I'm a first-year student here, but my seniors and teachers say that this college has great campus placements. They mentioned that students usually get a package of 3-4 LPA in their third year. To secure a placement, it's important to do well in your studies.
Campus: The campus is huge and well-kept. They have Wi-Fi everywhere which is great for using your laptop or phone. The classrooms are high-tech. The hostel is awesome with tasty food and good service.

Admission: The faculty and staff at this college are really nice and helpful. They always try to support students in every way they can. They work hard to help you learn and grow as a person. Exam schedules are always on time, and students do their best.
Placement: I'm currently studying at Ravenshaw University and I'm doing my first year of B.Sc. in computer science. I've heard from older students that everyone gets a job offer before they finish college. By the time we reach our third year, the typical salary range for placements is between 3 to 4 LPA.
Campus: There are 6 girls hostels and 7 boys hostels at Ravenshaw University. Plus, there's one boy's hostel outside the campus. The hosting here is top-notch and well-organized. The campus offers Wi-Fi and smart classrooms, which is awesome. The library is super famous with computers, tables, chairs, and Wi-Fi for all your studying needs. For B.Sc. in computer science, the course fee is Rs 27,250 for girls and Rs 27,450 for boys. The admission fee is Rs 2,250 and the first-year course fee is Rs 25,000.
