Admission: Our college sticks to VTU rules since it's a VTU college. Everything's based on the VTU schedule, from exams to internals. The main exam paper is straight from VTU, not made by our college.

Placement: The placement situation isn't great for ECE students when compared to CS students. The faculty seems to prioritize CSE students over us. The highest package for CS students ranges between 13 to 17 LPA, while the lowest is around 2 to 4 LPA. It's only about 50-60% of students who actually get placed.

Campus: The college hostel isn't great - rooms are tiny. The food is all Bangalore style, not good for South Karnataka students. They don't make any special food for non-Karnataka students. Same food for everyone. Rooms aren't that spacious.

Admission: The professors here are awesome at teaching. They really help us get ready for our careers and give us lots of support. Most of them have Ph.Ds. The courses are practical and get us ready for working in companies. The semester exams are fair, and most students pass with around an 80% success rate.

Placement: The placements here are pretty good. About half of the students get campus placements. In our course, the highest salary offered is around 40-42 LPA. The average package is about 7-8 LPA. Companies like Amazon, Google, and Bosch come for recruitment. Around 80% of students manage to get internships from different companies. Most students find placements off-campus. The popular roles offered are in AI development and as AI assistants.

Campus: The buildings here are not great. When it rains, the ceilings leak in some classrooms. Plus, some buildings are still being built. But the library and food court have the nicest buildings on campus. Overall, all the buildings are pretty old. The school needs to improve its infrastructure for sure. Hopefully, they'll build better buildings in the future.

Admission: The teachers here are really nice and approachable. They stick to the university's curriculum, which is great. We have 3 tests during the semester, each worth 50 marks. You need to score at least 40% to pass. The maximum marks you can get in the internals are important too.

Placement: The job opportunities at RNSIT are awesome. Big companies such as Adobe, Bosch, TCS, Oracle, Accenture, and Cognizant come for recruitment. The highest salary offered is 56 LPA by Adobe. Placements get going in the 7th semester, but we start practicing with mock interviews and training in the 5th sem.

Campus: The college has a great setup with all the department buildings, library, food court, temple, and auditorium. The labs in the department are well-equipped with Wi-Fi, and even the library has Wi-Fi. The hostel facilities are good too.

Admission: I really like RNSIT because they offer a bunch of programs like B.E, M.Tech, MBA, MCA, and Ph.D. in engineering and management. The teachers know their stuff and many of them have done research too. They follow VTU rules and we get to learn both theory and practical stuff.

Placement: The placements at RNSIT are great! Big companies like TCS, Infosys, and Wipro come for recruitment. The college helps with training and mock interviews. The average placement package is around 6-8 LPA, but some students get even higher offers from core and IT companies.

Campus: The college campus is really nice and has all the cool stuff. The classrooms have smart boards and projectors, and the labs are super fancy. They've got a ton of books, journals, and digital stuff to help with studying. There are separate hostels for guys and girls, and they're pretty comfy. Plus, there's a gym and places to play games both inside and outside. They even have fun cultural events sometimes.

Admission: The teachers here are really great! They know their stuff and explain things in a way that's easy to understand. Most students pass with flying colors, around 85-95%. The stuff we learn is practical and related to real-world jobs. Exams are doable if you keep up with your studies. All in all, the teaching is top-notch!

Placement: Most students got jobs during the placement drives, around 90%. The highest salary offered was 50 lakhs per year, while the average was 8 lakhs. Big companies like Amazon, Adobe, Cisco, and Deloitte hired students for roles like software developer, data analyst, and cybersecurity specialist. There were also more than 120 internships, with the top pay being €šÂ¹50,000 per month.

Campus: The campus has awesome facilities like smart classrooms and labs. They even have a health center. I love the sports facilities here too. The campus is clean, green, and super student-friendly. We also get to attend cool workshops, seminars, and tech events which make the whole experience even better.

Admission: I'm a student at this college, and I gotta say, the exams are run by VTU. They handle all the external exams. Up until 2025, our college was under VTU. When you're a VTU student, the way they grade you can be pretty tough. They don't usually give out high marks. But now that we're autonomous, things have changed. Grading is much fairer now.

Placement: I'm an AEEE student at RNSIT, and I've seen some great job placements here. Most offers are for IT roles, with fewer for core jobs. Companies like Adobe, TCG, Capgemini, and Infosys visit the campus. About 75% of students get placed, which is awesome. I've noticed that branches like CSE, ISE, and AIML have more job opportunities here.

Campus: The college could improve its infrastructure. Even though the campus is huge, the college itself only covers 10 acres. Despite that, the campus is fun to roam around. There's a neat amphitheater and 2 big grounds for all kinds of activities. The hostel fees are a bit high, around 1.4 lakhs per year, but the food is tasty and they serve only vegetarian dishes.

Admission: The exams are alright, teachers grade them fairly. The classes cover useful stuff. The semester tests are pretty easy. Most students pass, maybe around 70%. They also have activities to prepare us for jobs. The teachers are pretty knowledgeable.

Placement: The placements here are pretty good. The top package so far is 56 Lacs, and for my batch (2024), it's 46 Lacs. They start training us for jobs in the 3rd year, but actual placements happen in the 4th year. I'm in computer science and engineering, and we have really good placement opportunities.

Campus: The classrooms are fine, but the labs are just okay. The hostel isn't great it's four people sharing a room and you only get one shelf. The food at the hostel is amazing, but they serve the same thing every day and it doesn't taste good. Unfortunately, they don't allow sports. The warden is really strict.

Admission: The teachers really knew their stuff, with over 12 years of experience each. The course had great study materials that were easy to follow. The semester exams were tough but helped us learn a lot.

Placement: The placement scene at RNSIT was pretty good. Around half of the mechanical department students got good placements, with top companies like Infosys, L&T, and Textron hiring from our college. The highest salary for mechanical students was between 6 to 10 LPA, while Computer Science students were getting up to 20 LPA on average.

Campus: RNSIT has a really nice campus with a lot of space. The classrooms are modern and the hallways are big and clean. The labs and research centers are great too. It's a good place for both studying and having fun with extracurricular activities.

Admission: The professors here really know their stuff. They go above and beyond just teaching what's in the syllabus. They help us with projects, do extra research, and even provide study materials for exams. Plus, the passing rate is really high - over 95%!

Placement: I'm a second-year student studying Computer Science - Cybersecurity Engineering. Our seniors are a year ahead, so no one has gotten a job from our course yet. But they're doing internships. Samsung comes to our campus to teach us skills, and Nokia picks our projects. One senior is interning at Red User company.

Campus: The cybersecurity building is cool. They have labs we can use. Classrooms are always clean. The library has lots of books to check out. We do sports and cultural stuff often. If you get sick, there's a medical center. The food in the canteen is made in a clean way.

Admission: The teachers here are really great they all have Ph.Ds. They know their stuff and are super helpful. The courses can be fun if you're into them. Don't stress about the exams too much; seniors make them sound harder than they are. Most students in ECE pass with no problem, as long as you put in the effort.

Placement: RNSIT is amazing for placements. They have connections with lots of companies. The highest salaries in Karnataka come from RNSIT. About 80% of students find jobs here. If not, they find jobs off-campus. They also offer internships in between semesters.

Campus: The campus has separate buildings for each department. The classrooms and labs are clean and well-equipped. There's Wi-Fi everywhere, plus conference rooms for group projects. The library is huge with books on all kinds of topics. The hostel is nice, with hot water and friendly roommates. The canteen serves healthy food and is kept clean. When I have free time, I like hanging out in the gallery or amphitheater both have amazing views. RNSIT offers lots of sports like basketball, cricket, football, badminton, chess, gym, and archery. Each sport has its own dedicated grounds.
