Admission: The teachers here are really helpful and they know their stuff. But sometimes the way they teach is just okay. The course material seems a bit old. It's better to do internships to get some real-world experience. The exams each semester are pretty easy. Just look at some old papers to prepare, and you'll be fine.
Placement: I'm really happy to say that most students in our college got placed. The highest package was 35 LPA, and the average was around 6-7 LPA. The lowest was 4 LPA. Companies like Infosys, Wipro, Nokia, and a few more came to hire us. Kickdrum even offered a 34 LPA package. And guess what? We even got two offer letters each. Great opportunities here!
Campus: The campus is kinda old and average. The labs have Wi-Fi, and the library has free books. The hostels are just okay, and the food isn't great. But the sports club is cool, and there are good facilities for both indoor and outdoor games.

Admission: The teachers don't seem to know much about what they're teaching and they overload us with assignments. Attendance isn't a big deal for CSE and ISE students, but for other branches, it's a huge problem. Some teachers are helpful, while others aren't. The syllabus is outdated.
Placement: Around 67% to 70% of students got placed from different branches. Mechanical and Civil didn't have any placements though. The highest salary offered was 14 LPA in 2024, and the average was about 3.4 LPA. Companies like Target, KickDrum, and Amadeus Lab came for recruiting.
Campus: The facilities here are not great. The classrooms and labs are not up to par. We can't sit anywhere we want, which is a bummer. The teachers are not very friendly or helpful. There's no wi-fi on campus. And the canteen is tiny, with only one option.

Admission: I study electronics and communication at college. The teachers in our department are really good. They have a lot of experience and do research in different areas. This helps us students do well in our studies.
Placement: The placements here are pretty decent, averaging around 7 LPA. Most students, about 70%, end up getting placed. It's important to stay focused to secure a good job. However, the college doesn't really offer any standout roles to students.
Campus: The hostels here aren't great. They don't have good facilities or food. The rooms and bathrooms are dirty, some of the worst I've seen. It's a bad hostel experience in Bangalore. Also, the water supply is not good.

Admission: The teachers here are super helpful, especially 1 or 2 who are the best. Overall, the faculty is really good and supportive. The course material is relevant, but the downside is they want 85% attendance. Luckily, they lowered it to 70% this semester because most of us weren't making it. The exams aren't too hard, so it's pretty easy to keep your GPA above 7.5 or even 8.
Placement: The job placement is okay, around 70-80%. Some students find jobs off-campus and get better offers. I don't know the highest package right now, but a 7th-semester student got 13 LPA. I also heard an ETE student got 18 LPA. If you're good, the college is good for you. It's all up to you in the end.
Campus: The campus has great facilities. We chipped in to get our own Wi-Fi, but heard admin might provide it soon. The mess food is better than other colleges nearby. Some days it's really good, some days just okay. The caterers mostly come from UP, Bihar, and Jharkhand.

Admission: The teachers at Sir MVIT are really good. They know a lot, have lots of experience, and are always ready to help. They teach us in a way that makes learning easy. They mix theory and practice well to help us understand better. The course keeps changing to match what's happening in the industry. This helps us learn the right skills for the job. Exams are not too hard, but they make us think. Most students do well, with around 85% to 90% passing. This shows that the college cares about our education and wants us to succeed.
Placement: The placement at Sir MVIT is awesome! Lots of big companies come every year to hire students. The placement rate is super high, between 90% to 100%. In 2023, the highest salary offered was 34 LPA, and the average was 6 LPA. Companies like Cognizant, Wipro, Amazon, Dell, Microsoft, and Caterpillar hire students for different roles like software development, data engineering, business analysis, and data science. It's a great opportunity for students to get good jobs!
Campus: The college has awesome facilities like big classrooms with projectors, labs, a library with lots of books, and e-journals you can use with Wi-Fi. The hostels are cool too, they have separate rooms for guys and girls with everything you need. The food is good - you can get all kinds of meals in the mess, and snacks in the canteen. There's also a clinic on campus and you can go to the hospital in case of an emergency. If you like sports, there's a huge ground for cricket, football, basketball, and indoor games, plus a gym. Overall, the campus is a great place to study and grow as a person.

Admission: The teachers here seem unprepared and not very helpful when it comes to answering questions or supporting projects. They just seem to rely on what they wrote the day before on a piece of paper. It doesn't feel like we're learning any new skills that are relevant to the industry.
Placement: The job placements here aren't great. Only 100 out of 400 students get placed. The top salary is 12 Lacs, while the average is around 2.5 Lacs. Just a few IT and sales companies visit for hiring. You need at least 80% in your grades to be eligible for campus recruitment.
Campus: The college facilities are just okay. We don't have Wi-Fi, and the labs have limited working computers. The classrooms are fine. The library is being renovated into a digital one, which will be great. It's expected to be ready by 2026. The canteen food is not good, especially the non-veg food cooked in only one pot. There are no medical facilities on campus, and the college is quite far from the main road.

Admission: The VTU course material feels old-fashioned and more about theory than real-life skills. I'm not sure if this will prep me for the job market. Most teachers are just okay and don't really help us understand stuff. But there are a few who are awesome and really know their stuff. The exams here are tough, and the grading system isn't the best.
Placement: I'm in the CSE IoT course, part of the first batch. The college says 90% of students get jobs. The average offer is 5 to 6 LPA. Media.net and Amazon offer the highest, around 30+ and 16+ LPA. Companies like TCS, Accenture, L&T, Wipro, Cognizant, and Mindtree hire students. The faculty told us we'll sit with CSE students for placements. From now on, we only get one internship/training in our final 8th semester, as per the 2022 scheme.
Campus: The campus is really big and has lots of greenery, but the buildings could be better. All classrooms have projectors, and the labs and auditoriums are pretty good. They made a new library last year, but students can't use it fully yet. I don't live on campus, but my friends say the hostel rooms are just okay, and the food in the mess is not great.

Admission: The teachers here are awesome! They're all certified and have Ph.Ds. They really know their stuff. The course material is perfect for engineering students. It gets us ready for the industry. Exams are tough, but passing them is not too hard.
Placement: Around 70% of us found jobs after graduation. The pay is pretty good, with the highest salary being between 15 to 20 LPA. On average, we're looking at 7 to 9 LPA. The lowest salary offered ranges from 3 to 5 LPA. Big companies like TCS, Accenture, and Tech Mahindra come to hire us for roles like data engineering, business analysis, software development, and more. It's a great place to kickstart your career!
Campus: I really liked the hostel situation at Sir MVIT. They have comfy and well-equipped hostels for guys and girls. You can choose to stay in a single, double, or triple-sharing room. Every room comes with essential stuff like beds, study tables, chairs, and cupboards. It's pretty cool!

Admission: The teachers at this college are super helpful. They know a lot about their subjects and teach well. The courses are practical and prepare us for the real world. We have semester exams by VTU since the college is affiliated with them. It's a good place to learn and grow.
Placement: Around 40% of us got placed in 2024. Kalkitech is the top company that comes for placements. The highest package offered is 12 LPA, while the lowest is 2 LPA and the average is 4 LPA. Everyone in our department managed to get internships. They also offer a role as a developer.
Campus: The library has all the books we need for our courses, but the Wi-Fi is a bit spotty. The labs and classrooms are nice. We stay in the hostel most of the time, and they serve South Indian food. Unfortunately, there's no Wi-Fi in the hostel. Oh, and there's a gym too!

Admission: The teachers are awesome! They really know their stuff and most of them have PhDs. They teach really well and use real-life examples in labs. They explain everything in PowerPoints. Exams are tough but fair.
Placement: Lots of companies come to our college for hiring students. Every year, almost 85-90% of students get placed. Big companies like Amazon and Wipro hire students here. Even MS companies like TCS and Capgemini hire students. Most students end up getting jobs that match their course, like data analysts.
Campus: The labs have good equipment, and the college buildings are decent. The hostels are well-maintained, and there's a big ground for sports. They also have indoor sports and a gym. The campus is huge, covering 133 acres with stadiums for different sports like badminton, football, and volleyball. Each classroom has a projector, which is cool.
