Admission: The teachers here really know how to keep us interested in class. They start with the basics and take us all the way to advanced stuff. In the last semester, we get to work on projects to practice what we've learned. The exams are not too hard, they just want to see if we can apply what we've learned. You need at least a 40% to pass.
Placement: Most students in my course get placed, around 80%. The highest salary offered is 45 LPA and the lowest is 5 LPA, with an average of 9 LPA. Big companies like Flipkart, Siemens, Mercedes-Benz, and JP Morgan hire students from our course. Also, 80% of students land internships in companies like Mercedes-Benz and JP Morgan. You can find internships and entry-level software roles in almost all areas.
Campus: The college campus has Wi-Fi everywhere which is fast. There are labs on each floor for practice. All classrooms use digital technology. The library has lots of books for our courses. The hostel serves good food. We have sports grounds, including cricket and football fields. Medical help is easy to get at the hospital on campus.

Admission: The teachers here are really good. They help us out a lot and tell us everything we need to know about exams and courses before we begin. The semester exams are tough, so you really need to understand the subjects well. But it's worth it because it prepares us for the real world.
Placement: The placement rate here is really good, around 90%. For CSE, the highest package is 54 LPA, and the average is about 10-12 LPA. Some big companies that come for placements are JP Morgan, Google, Adobe, and more. A lot of students get internships with companies like JP Morgan and Cisco. They usually offer roles as software developers.
Campus: The college has awesome labs, library, classrooms, and super fast Wi-Fi. Plus, there's a hostel, gym, basketball court, and cricket ground. SJCE even has separate hostels for girls and guys. The hostel serves good food three times a day, and has cool stuff like a washing machine and hot water. It's pretty sweet!

Admission: The teachers here know their stuff, having finished their post-grad studies. They teach well and get us ready for the industry. We start getting industry training in the third year. The exams are doable with some effort, and most students pass. It's a good place to learn and get ready for work life.
Placement: The college has an awesome track record for placements in Karnataka. Every year, around 400 companies come for hiring, offering an average salary of 12 lakhs per year. Most students get placed, with big companies like Cisco, Western Digital, and Samsung showing up for recruitment. Roles like software developers and engineers are common. The highest salary offered is 44 lakhs, while the lowest is 4 lakhs. In the third year, about 20-30% of students get internships, and Fidelity is a top recruiter for that.
Campus: The college has a mix of old and new buildings. The CSE and ISE department buildings are great, but the others are older. In the first year, four students share a room in the hostel, which isn't the best. The washrooms get pretty messy by the end of the day. The food in the mess is okay, but some students from North India might not like it. The canteen, though, has a lot of options for both North and South Indian students. If you have an emergency, there are medical facilities available. The sports facilities are awesome, with a cricket ground, football ground, basketball court, badminton court, and volleyball court.

Admission: The teachers here are really good at what they do. They help us a lot. It's easy to talk to them and ask questions when we don't understand something. The exams are fair, not too hard. It all comes down to how much we study.
Placement: The placements at our college are pretty good. About 70-80% of students get jobs. The salaries can range from 4 LPA to 30 LPA. I heard that Schneider is a top company hiring from our college. I would recommend this college to other students looking for placements.
Campus: The Wi-Fi on campus is really good, helps a lot with studying. Each branch has its own lab. Classrooms are big and comfy. The library has tons of books, which is awesome. Definitely recommend this college.

Admission: The old teachers knew their stuff, coming from IISC and IITs. But the new ones weren't great. They often seemed lost. This is a private college, so our exams weren't from VTU. Our teachers made the question papers. If the old teachers made them, they'd be tough and good. But the new ones made easy papers.
Placement: The placements for CS, IS, and EC were really good, but for EEE, they were just okay in our batch. But things got better in the following years. The highest salary offered was 15 LPA by LAM Research, while the lowest was 3 LPA by DXC. Some students also got internships at Schindler Electric and General Motors.
Campus: The college had good infrastructure not fancy, but nice. They had Wi-Fi in the college and hostels, each with their own IDs. There was a library and a reference hall. Couldn't hang out in the library, but the reference hall had everything tables with charging ports, space for projects and assessments. Huge grounds for cricket, basketball, and badminton. The campus was massive, 110 acres with a big garden full of trees. Food in the mess was tasty.

Admission: The teachers at SJC are pretty good. They know their stuff, but the way they teach is just okay. The problem is our course material is old-fashioned. We're still using the same old syllabus that doesn't match what's happening in the real world. The exams are a real pain too. We have to deal with 5 internal tests and one final exam each semester.
Placement: SJCE's placement varies based on the job market. Most students get job offers on campus, with more than half landing one. The highest package was 33 LPA for one student, while the lowest was 4 LPA. Companies like Cisco, JPMC, and Deloitte are top recruiters offering roles like software developer and data analyst.
Campus: The college has awesome facilities like labs, Wi-Fi, smart classrooms, and big libraries. The hostel has different options. In the first year, there are 4 people in a room, and for the next three years, it's 3 people per room. There are also a few single rooms available. The food in the hostel is okay, and they have Wi-Fi there too.

Admission: Getting to know about exams beforehand really helped us students. It gave us time to get ready and do better. The course content is good and helps us get better at what we're learning. The pass rate is not that great, though.
Placement: The college really helps students get good jobs. Big companies like Tata, Ford, Red Bull, and Infosys come for campus placements. They choose lots of students every year. It's great to see companies supporting students and giving them opportunities to grow.
Campus: The course is alright, and the hostel facilities are decent. The Wi-Fi on campus works well, and the department labs are good too. It's really quiet here, and there's no ragging at all. I like the atmosphere at this campus in Mysore.

Admission: The teachers here are really good at what they do. They make learning easy and are always there to help us out. It's easy to talk to them and ask questions when we're confused. The exams are fair, not too hard if we study well.
Placement: I think the placements at our college are pretty good. About 70-80% of students get jobs. The salaries range from 4 to 30. The best company I know that visits is Schneider. In my opinion, our college is solid when it comes to placements. That's just based on what I know and have seen.
Campus: The Wi-Fi on campus is really good and helps us a lot. Each branch has its own lab, and the classrooms are big. The library is awesome with lots of books. From what I know and have seen, everything is great here.

Admission: The teachers here are hit or miss. Your grades can be based on how active you are in class during the semester. Be careful, thoughsome teachers might fail you if they think you're being too clever. Just watch out for those kinds of professors.
Placement: The companies offer good packages, but you have to be ready. During the recession, fewer people were hired. Like, instead of hiring 30, they only took 5 or 6. So, it's up to you to be prepared.
Campus: I'm not sure about the hostel since I'm from Mysore. The classrooms are fine, and there are lots of books in the library. You can borrow as many as you want. I suggest checking out the slides or PowerPoints. That's pretty much all you need. The Wi-Fi is a little slow, labs are decent, but the canteen isn't great.

Admission: The teachers at SJCE really know their stuff and are always there to help. The classes are well-organized and cover all the important topics. They teach us what we need to know for the job market. Exams are a bit tough, but if you study, you can handle them. Most students pass their exams, so that's good to know.
Placement: About half of the students have already found jobs, but there are still more companies coming to hire. I think the placement rate is great, especially during tough times. I can't say for sure now, but I believe this course will have even more opportunities in the future. It seems like there's no end to it.
Campus: The Wi-Fi, labs, and classrooms are awesome here way better than I expected. My friend told me the hostel isn't that great when it comes to food and cleanliness. But I gotta say, the hostel maintenance is top-notch.
