Admission: The teachers really know their stuff and are always ready to help out. They make sure we get the concepts by explaining them multiple times. The course material is super useful and not too tough. The semester exam is a bit challenging, but it's totally doable to pass. The passing rate is around 40%, so it's not too bad.
Placement: Most students in the CSE branch get placed, about 93%. The average package is around 6 LPA. Companies like TCS, Wipro, etc., offer internships to 90% of students. Our college is near many IT companies which is great for opportunities.
Campus: The college's infrastructure isn't as great as some state colleges, but in West Bengal, it's pretty good. There aren't any hostels, but it's in an IT hub which is cool. The sports facilities are better than other colleges, which is a plus.

Admission: The teachers here know their stuff and are really helpful. You can find the syllabus on www.makautsyllabus.com, and that's pretty much what they cover in class all year. The semester exams are not too hard since the questions come from MAKAUT University.
Placement: By the time you're in 3rd year, as long as you've got skills and a decent CGPA, you're pretty much set for placements. Almost all students, around 95%, got placed regardless of their package. Companies like TCS and Wipro come for recruiting. The college also helps with internships, but if you want more options, you can always look off-campus.
Campus: The college's infrastructure is decent. They have Wi-Fi across campus, but only first-year students can use it. Classrooms don't have AC, but labs do. The library gives out free books for the semester. There's no on-campus hostel, but they offer one affiliated with the college. Honestly, that hostel is pretty terrible, I'd say it's the worst.

Admission: The teachers at the college are a mixed bag. Some are really good and care about teaching, while others just seem to be going through the motions. The course is okay, but they don't focus much on practical skills. This makes it hard for us to apply what we learn to real-world problems in the industry.
Placement: The placement rate for computer science is pretty good, around 80% to 90%. Companies usually offer an average salary of 4 to 5 LPA. Last year, the highest on-campus salary was 33 LPA. TCS is the top recruiter. You might need to look for internships outside of college.
Campus: The college doesn't have a hostel, so students have to find flats or PGs to stay, which can be expensive. The infrastructure is pretty average, like a regular school. But if you're into sports and fests, there are events happening for you to enjoy.

Admission: The teachers at this college are awesome! They know their stuff, help out a lot, and keep us motivated for real life. The courses are spot on for what we need down the road. Exams are tough, but if you put in the effort, you can definitely get some good grades.
Placement: I'm in the B.Tech computer science and engineering course. Last year, around 85% of CSE students got placed. The highest salary was 67 LPA, and the lowest was 3 LPA. Big companies like Amazon, Flipkart, Wipro, and some cool startups come for recruitment. It's a good vibe for job placements here.
Campus: The college has awesome facilities like a library, labs for different subjects, and digital classrooms. Wi-Fi is available on every floor. Sports facilities are good, and there are lots of sports programs too.

Admission: The faculty here are super helpful. They know their stuff and always clear up any doubts we have. Some teachers aren't the best at teaching, but it all starts to click as the semester goes on. They really focus on practical stuff, and we have PCA exams often. The semester exams are hard, but looking at old exam questions really helps. The course covers a lot, but as long as we answer the questions well, we'll do great in the end.
Placement: I'm doing B.Tech in information technology. The placement record for my department is pretty good. The highest package offered here is 42 LPA. I don't know much about off-campus placements, but some faculty members mention packages in crores per annum. Companies like Wipro, Infosys, TCS, Amazon, and Tech Mahindra recruit students from our course. I'm a first-year student, so I don't have a lot of info on internships, but I've seen seniors land internships at top MNCs.
Campus: The infrastructure here is just okay, not great. They do have some good things like Wi-Fi, labs, and the library for students. But the Wi-Fi is pretty bad, doesn't really work well. The B.Tech building classrooms don't have AC, so it gets super hot in the summer. On the bright side, the non-teaching building (BBA-BCA) does have AC classrooms. I can't say much about the hostel since I don't stay there. I live in a private PG instead.

Admission: The teachers here are really helpful and know their stuff. They have advanced degrees and teach the classes well. But some of the course material feels old-fashioned. The exams can be pretty challenging, set by MAKUT University. Each semester has four CAs, plus PCAs and assignments to keep up with.
Placement: Recruiters from big companies visit our college in the final year. They offer an average salary of 30 LPA. Companies like Wipro, Infosys, and TCS are some of the regulars. Around 70% of students land jobs through campus placements. Unfortunately, internships aren't arranged by the college.
Campus: My course has labs, but some computers don't work. The library has books for my course. The main campus doesn't have hostels, but other techno group campuses do.

Admission: The teachers in our department are super helpful and friendly. They really know their stuff and explain things well. The courses are useful and help us learn a lot. The exams are tough, but most students pass with a 60-70% rate.
Placement: I go to Techno Main Salt Lake and our placement record is pretty good. There are around 70 students in my batch. The average package offered is between 3-4 LPA. The placement rate for our department is about 90%. Big companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Deloitte, Google, Bosch, TCS, IBM, Wipro, Capgemini, and Accenture visit our college for recruiting. They offer roles like software engineer, web developer, machine learning engineer, and app developer.
Campus: Our college has lots of cool stuff for students, like Wi-Fi everywhere. We've got computer labs, chemistry labs, physics labs, mechanical labs, and electrical labs all with new gadgets and air conditioning. The hostel has comfy rooms with air conditioning for around Rs. 7,000-8,000 each month. The food in the mess is just okay. The medical help is pretty good, but we don't have a place for sports and games.

Admission: The teachers here are really helpful and they give us lots of notes for the semester exams. The courses are interesting and make sense. Our teachers are awesome and easy to talk to. The semester exams are a bit tough, but if we study hard, we can pass easily. That's a plus. They offer a lot of courses like B.Tech and BCA, which is great for getting a degree. I recommend checking out this college for sure.
Placement: The college placements here are awesome! Lots of big companies come to hire students like TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, and Deloitte. In our department, most students get jobs with a cool 56 LPA package. The average package is 8 LPA. If you work hard, you're pretty much guaranteed a high-paying job.
Campus: PG is a good place. It's well-kept, but a bit pricey. The labs and classrooms are nice with good furniture. Plus, there's Wi-Fi everywhere, which is cool.

Admission: The professors here really know their stuff. They're always there to help out if you're stuck on something. In the first semester, some of the course material seemed a bit off, but things start to click after that.
Placement: The job placements here are pretty good, both on-campus and off-campus. The highest on-campus package is 42 LPA, while the lowest is no placement at all. Off-campus package numbers aren't clear, but it's rumored to be over 1 crore per year. Companies like Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Amazon, Flipkart, and Google come for recruitment.
Campus: The infrastructure here is okay. Wi-Fi, labs, and the library are good. But the classrooms get crazy hot in the summer. The B.Tech buildings don't have AC, but the BBA-BCA classrooms do. There's no hostel here, but they have a tie-up with a PG. If you want, you can stay there. The college organizes sports, games, and cultural events often.

Admission: The teachers here are super helpful. They always support us by sharing notes and giving us cool project ideas. Plus, the college gives us everything we need for hardware design. The semester exams are pretty tough, you need at least 40% to pass.
Placement: This course requires studying Physics, Chemistry, and Maths in 11th and 12th grade. After finishing high school, you need to take an entrance exam like JEE Main or WBJEE (for West Bengal). The highest package here is 18 LPA, the lowest is 5.5 LPA, and the average is 5 LPA. Around 65% of students land internships through the college.
Campus: This college doesn't have a hostel, but it's got a lot of departments like B.Tech, BCA, and BBA. The campus has Wi-Fi everywhere, smart classrooms, and a library with all the books you need. They even have clubs for sports, drama, dance, coding, and more. It's pretty cool!
