Admission: The teachers here are awesome. They're super helpful and really know their stuff. The pass rate is around 80%-85%, so you gotta study for those semester exams. The schedule is tight, so not much time for fun stuff outside of classes.

Placement: Last year, the top package was 16 LPA. Companies like Vedanta, Siemens, Google, Microsoft, and US-based software companies come for placements. Other branches also have good companies visiting for recruitment.

Campus: The campus is alright, but the library rocks! It has everything we need. Plus, there's free Wi-Fi everywhere. The campus is pretty big, with two grounds. Overall, the infrastructure is pretty good.

Admission: Most teachers here have Ph.Ds and over 7 years of experience. The course is super relevant and gets you ready for the industry. It's not too hard, just medium difficulty. You need at least 35 marks to pass. But for first-year students, it can be tough for a lot of them to pass.

Placement: I'm a sophomore in the Textile Technology program. About 80% of us here land jobs. The highest salary is around 18 LPA and the lowest is about 6 LPA. Trident is the main company hiring us. Most of us snag internships, doing stuff like managing production, sales, or testing in labs.

Campus: The Wi-Fi on campus is there, but it doesn't always work everywhere. There are 2 hostels for guys and 1 PG hostel. The PG has great facilities, but the toilets and living rooms in the other hostel aren't so good. The food is fine, and the medical help is only there at certain times. Also, there are 2 messes for guys to eat at. Plus, there are sports and games to enjoy.

Admission: Most of the teachers here have PhDs and lots of teaching experience. The course material is practical and helps us get ready for jobs. The exams are kinda tough, but you just need 35 marks to pass. First year is a bit challenging for most students.

Placement: I'm studying B.Tech. in Textile Technology. The placement scene here is pretty good. Most students, about 85%, land jobs in top textile companies. The rest either go for more studies or take up lower-paying jobs. The highest salary offered is 18 LPA, while the lowest is 6 LPA. Trident is the main company that hires from our course. Almost everyone gets internships, and students get roles like manufacturing head, sales head, and T lab testing.

Campus: The Wi-Fi on campus is hit or miss. There are 2 hostels for guys, one is old and kinda run-down. The other one is really nice with great facilities. Food is decent. Medical help is there at certain times. Two mess halls for guys. Plus, there are sports and games in the building.

Admission: The teachers are pretty good overall, but some facilities need improvement in all departments. Most of the teachers give helpful notes and have a lot of experience. The head of the department is really involved with the students and listens to and fixes any problems that come up.

Placement: The placements at VJTI are awesome! They're right up there with NITs and some IITs. That's a big draw for most students. In Computer Engineering, the average package is around 20 LPA. Other branches like IT, EXTC, and Electronics have average packages of 15, 13, and 12 LPA. The top companies that recruit here are Deloitte, Morgan Stanley, Amazon, ICICI Bank, and more. The highest package in 2024 was 57 LPA, while the lowest is usually between 6-12 LPA. The highest internship stipend was 5.9L, with over 400 internship offers. And guess what? More than 27 students got selected for Google!

Campus: The college has been around for more than 100 years, so some of the buildings are old. However, the CS, Textile, and IT departments have good facilities. VJTI offers hostel rooms, but not everyone gets one. They decide based on exam scores during admission. There are 2 hostels for B.Tech and Diploma students, separate for boys and girls. M.Tech students have their own hostel, which is really nice. It has geysers, clean bathrooms, balconies, and even lifts.

Admission: The teachers here are really nice and know their stuff. The exams can be a bit challenging, but they're fair. There's a mid-semester test worth 30 marks, and you need 8 to pass. The end-of-semester exam is worth 70 marks, and you need 24 to pass. Plus, there's a 6-month internship where you get hands-on experience working at real companies. It's a great opportunity to learn and grow!

Placement: Most students here get jobs, with the best offer being 53 lakhs and the lowest around 10 lakhs. Siemens and Google UPI hire a lot from our college. Those with high grades every semester land jobs at top companies like Microsoft. Employers here look for dedicated and skilled students.

Campus: The Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and libraries are all top-notch. Hostels are nice, and the food in the canteen is great. The facilities in the hostels are also really good. The medical services and staff in our department are excellent. The faculty members are helpful and always keep us updated on new things happening in college.

Admission: I really like the teachers at VJTI. They really get us and make an effort to connect with us. They offer courses like IKS and CC that help us build character and get ready for the industry. I also appreciate the relative grading system because it takes off some pressure.

Placement: I loved Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute because of the awesome placements. In 2023, tech branches had an average package of around 19.6 Lacs per year, while circuital and other branches were at 11-12 Lacs per year. The overall placement rate was 82%, which is pretty good. The highest package offered was a whopping 57 Lacs per year for tech branches. The big companies like DE SHAW, Amazon, LinkedIn, and KPMG were the top recruiters. It's a great place for landing a good job after graduation!

Campus: VJTI is an old government college that was founded in 1887. The buildings may be a bit old, but they have all the labs and clubs you need. There's this cool Robotics and Automation committee called SRA for students into that stuff. You got 2 big grounds, a volleyball court, a basketball court, and a gymkhana to chill with friends and play games like carrom, TT, and chess. And don't forget about the canteen a great spot to hang out with friends.

Admission: The faculty here is great and really supportive. They know their stuff and some even have Ph.Ds. The teaching is top-notch and they prepare us well for the industry. Love the environment here too!

Placement: Almost all students found jobs after graduating. The highest salary offered last year was 64 LPA, while the lowest was 12 LPA. Companies like Siemens hired many students. Around 70% of students did internships last year, and almost all of them got jobs after graduating.

Campus: The campus has good facilities and infrastructure. There are lots of labs and clubs where you can explore your interests. The hostel facilities are great too, with a recent renovation and a new one built. Plus, there are plenty of labs on campus that are pretty good.

Admission: The first semester was tough, but if you work hard, it gets easier later on. If you fail a subject, there's a chance to retake the exam so you don't get a backlog in the first semester. Make sure to attend all the co-curricular subjects too, they count for marks.

Placement: The placement rate is pretty good, around 80-87%. In Electronics, the average salary is 8-10 LPA. To secure a job easily, aim for a GPA of 7.5 or higher. Electronics offers a lot of different paths compared to courses like Data Science.

Campus: The food in the canteen is pretty good. But, just a heads up, not everyone can get a hostel here because there aren't many. They pick who gets one based on merit, and if you're from outside Mumbai University, you might have a better chance. There are lots of groups in the college, so new students should check them out for sure.

Admission: The professors here really know their stuff. They've got degrees from top schools. Exams aren't too hard, but you gotta do better than the top student to pass. The course content makes sense overall.

Placement: Seniors say our college has great placements. For CS and IT, the average package is 22 LPA. Across all branches, 80-90% of students get placed with an average package of 13 LPA. The VJTI TPO really helps students find jobs.

Campus: The college's infrastructure isn't great, but they're working on it. They're adding basic stuff to all classrooms and labs. The cafeteria is cheap, but there aren't many medical services available.

Admission: The teachers are nice and try to help, but some don't know the subject well. The syllabus is old, but students do well in the industry because they work hard. The placement rate is good, but some subjects have tough and practical papers. Only a couple of subjects have PhD teachers; the rest aren't qualified. The pass rate is around 40%.

Placement: Most students got placed, but it really depended on what you studied. Salaries ranged from 6 LPA to 36 LPA, with an average of 15 LPA. In my course, only a handful of companies came to recruit. A lot of us ended up in software companies like Texas Instruments. If you were doing B.Tech, you'd mostly find technical roles, but sometimes there were management roles too.

Campus: The course facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and the library are really bad. The hostel, food in the mess and canteen, medical facilities, and sports are all very poor too.
