Vivekanand Business School (VBS)

Admission: The teachers at Vivekanand Business School in Mumbai are really smart and know a lot. They use different ways to teach us and help us become better leaders. The PGDM course is good and matches what companies need. The exams in each semester are challenging but doable if you study hard.

Placement: I really liked how most students from the PGDM course at VBS got placed in 2023. The highest international package was INR 21.42 LPA, and the highest domestic one was INR 12 LPA. The average package was INR 8 LPA, which was 14% higher than last year. Companies like Future Bridge, Thomson Reuters, Aditya Birla Capital, and others hired students.

Campus: The VBS campus is huge, covering 9 acres in the green area of Chembur. The library is awesome, with lots of books from all over the world. You can use Wi-Fi on campus, which is great for surfing the web. The classrooms are cool, with modern furniture and tech like digital boards.

Admission: The professors in each specialization have Ph.Ds, so they know their stuff really well. The course curriculum matches the PGDM setup nicely. Exams are tough, covering six subjects every trimester.

Placement: With an 80th percentile in CMAT, getting an interview spot is pretty much guaranteed. Just make sure to do well in the interview to seal the deal. The same goes for CET. Some big companies that come for placements are Deloitte, Axis Bank, GEP Solutions, Haldirams, Dabur, GMV, Morning Star Lodha.

Campus: The campus has a great setup with an E-Library that has private rooms for meetings. It's perfect for group work, doing assignments, and hands-on projects. The building is tall, with seven floors and four different elevators. On floors above the 4th, there's an auditorium and classrooms for classes.

Admission: The faculty at this college are really supportive and super knowledgeable. They help with research and studies, plus they play a big part in helping us get good placements. Each student gets a faculty mentor for personal help, which is awesome.

Placement: I love how this college offers lots of chances for internships and jobs. It's great for getting ready for the real world and building my career. The college knows a lot of people in different industries, so getting a job after graduating is easier. They teach us things that are actually useful in the business world, which makes me feel more confident for job interviews.

Campus: The college has good infrastructure and offers hostel facilities too. The library is stocked with academic books, which helps us study better. The classrooms are cool, with smartboards that make learning easier.

Admission: The teachers here are really smart with PhDs and real-world experience. We get to work on real projects to see how things work in the industry. The exams aren't too tough, so it's not too stressful. The stuff we learn is up-to-date with what's happening in the real world, which is cool.

Placement: There are about 160 students in my batch. Most of us got job offers around 7 to 8 LPA. The top companies that hired us include ICIC, Infoedge, Kalapatru, and BNP Reality. The placement cell really helped us all find internships and guided us through the placement process.

Campus: The classrooms are big and clean. The library and computer labs are easy to get to. The canteen and hostel have everything you need, and the staff there are really helpful. They've got cool stuff like digital boards, WiFi, AC in the classrooms, and sports fields for people who love sports.

Admission: The teachers here are awesome! They really know their stuff and are super helpful. The teaching is top-notch and the curriculum is divided into three semesters. We even get to go on industry visits, which is pretty cool. The exams are based on case studies too. It's a great place to learn!

Placement: The placement scene here is pretty good. In 2023, around 93% of students got placed. The highest package was 12LPA, while the average was 8LPA. Even the lowest package was decent at around 4-5 LPA. Big companies like PWC, Deloitte, KPMG, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, and Adani come for recruitment.

Campus: The campus here is awesome! The classrooms are top-notch with all the necessary equipment. They look like they belong in a fancy business school. Wi-Fi is available everywhere, and the library is great with a wide selection of books. Love it here!

Admission: The teachers here are really helpful and know their stuff. They teach in different ways, some pretty cool. The subjects could be more connected to what we're learning and more hands-on. It's not super job-ready. We have exams three times a year, so it's pretty fast-paced learning. You need at least 50% to pass each semester.

Placement: About half of the students in our college get placed, which is pretty good. The highest salary offered is between 8 to 10 LPA. ICICI Bank hires about 8 to 10 students for finance. Marketing students have better placement opportunities because their jobs usually involve a lot of sales.

Campus: The Wi-Fi was good when the course started, but now it's weak. Classrooms are nice and the library is well-kept. Hostel rooms are good, but the mess food is just okay. The college has good medical facilities, sports, and games.

Admission: The teachers here are awesome! They have a lot of real-world experience, which is super helpful for us students. The course is very practical and up-to-date with what's happening in the industry. The exams are doable as long as you put in the effort. Most people pass, but some might struggle a bit. Overall, a great place to learn!

Placement: The average package is around 7-8 Lacs, with most of the top packages going to marketing students. Internships mainly focus on marketing and operations. There aren't as many opportunities for finance and business analytics students. ICICI, HDFC, and Deloitte are some of the companies that visit the college for placements.

Campus: The classrooms, library, and Wi-Fi are all great. The school has modern stuff like E-boards, comfy seats, and air conditioning, which helps us a lot. The library is top-notch, it's so nice you don't want to leave. The canteen is small, but the food is good and cheap. They could do better with managing the canteen though.

Placement: The college brings in lots of top companies like KPMG, General Mills, and Deloitte for placements and internships. They really help us get ready for interviews and tests. It's great to see so many students getting good job offers.

The college is really good at getting us in touch with top recruiters. If you're proactive in looking for a job, you can find some awesome opportunities.
