The 4th year of BSc Nursing is a culmination and milestone phase that aims for the shaping of a student's professional skill and for preparing a student for actual clinical practice. It combines more advanced theory training with substantial clinical exposure, with an intention to shape leadership, teaching, and administration skills and direct patient care. The year is especially significant in that it encompasses an integrated clinical internship where the students rotate through different departments under supervision and acquire competency and confidence in independent patient management.
