Admission to B.Sc Nursing in Jharkhand is taken by the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) on the basis of Nursing Entrance Competitive Examination (NECE). The candidate must have passed 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English with at least 45% marks. The age must be 17 years or above as of December 31, 2025, and the candidate must be medically fit. NECE test will contain 150 multiple-choice items and will be conducted in September 2025 with application for the same being received in August.

 

For Post Basic B.Sc Nursing, candidates should have passed 10+2 and must be GNM qualified with State Nursing Council registration of RNRM. Pre-integrated course training male candidates must submit evidence of INC-approved training in subjects like OT Techniques or Psychiatric Nursing. Admission process along with the examination and application process is also done by JCECEB.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who are going to appear for B.Sc. Nursing in Jharkhand should be for citizens of India, whereas government quota seats should be for Jharkhand origin.

  • The candidates should have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English and obtained at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST).
