MBA Banking and Finance Admission Process 2025

The admission procedure for the MBA Banking and Finance at IIM Trichy is as follows:

 

Step 1: Go to the IIM Tiruchirappalli official site and enrol yourself in the MBA Banking & Finance scheme on the official site. Complete the application form with all the right information. Add the requirements of academic transcripts, valid ID proof, passport-size photographs, and certificates of any category in case of need.

 

Step 2: The candidates are required to appear in a legitimate national-level entrance test, the best would be CAT (Common Admission Test) because it is the leading qualifying test, accepted by IIM Trichy. When filling in the application, you should provide your CAT registration and scores.

 

Step 3: Shortlisting of the candidates to the next round will be on CAT scores, academic background, work experience (in case any) and other relevant parameters. The mere list of short listed candidates will also be published on the official portal and/or intimated thru email.

 

Step 4: Shortlisted candidates will be called up to attend the Personal Interview (PI) process. At this stage, the round can either be conducted online or at a specified location as this round will test your communication skills, your aptitude in banking and finance, your academic understanding and also the matching of your interests with the objective of the program.

 

Step 5: Once accepted you will be sent an official offer admission letter through email by the IIM Trichy. Such information as the deadlines of confirmation, fee structure, and needed documents will be given in the offer.

 

Step 6: In order to secure your admission, you are required to pay the tuition fee as mentioned in the offer letter payable within the stipulated date and produce all the original records and a set of attested photocopies (i.e. certificate, mark sheets, ID proof, and photographs) before August 15, 2011.

 

Step 7: Attend the mandatory orientation session on the date communicated by the institute. This session introduces you to the curriculum, faculty, campus life, and your peers.
