MD is not a surgeon. However, the Obstetrics & Gynaecology course combines both surgical and medical aspects, therefore, experts consider MS and MD equivalent in that case.
Which degree is higher, MD or MS?
In MCI, neither one is superior or higher degree as MD and MS are both distinct specialisation degrees at postgraduate level.
