M.Sc Mathematics Admission: Eligibility Criteria and Entrance Exams

MSc Mathematics is a two-year postgraduate program that offers in-depth knowledge of advanced mathematical concepts, theories, and analytical techniques. • Furthermore, those students who are in their last year of graduation and are to receive their degree prior to the date of admission may apply, though with such students, they must issue the correct evidence of having passed successfully with the appropriate marks by the time of the admission.
• In general, M.Sc. Mathematics programs do not have upper age limits to their admission; however, universities may restrict entry by a certain age or other requirements in the admission terms.
• Most government and government-aided institutions can only grant admission to Indian nationals, whereas in the non-governmental institutions, NRI/OCI/PIO candidates can be given seats in management quota seats on the basis of the regulations of each particular institution.

The admission process is almost similar in all the institutes offering the course. For reference, the admission process to enroll into MSc mathematics course at Banaras Hindu University is given below:

Step 1: On the official BHU site, create a new profile of yourself as a test-taker of CUET PG or the BHU Postgraduate Entrance Test (as the situation might be).

Step 2: Go through the online application form and provide the right personal information in the form of: Full Name, Date of Birth, Email ID, Mobile No, Home address, and the details regarding the degree information of the qualified Bachelor's degree.

Step 3: Go to the postgraduate courses providing options and choose M.Sc. Mathematics, and be sure you want to give the right entrance examination (CUET PG or BHU PG Entrance Test).

Step 4: Post the necessary documents such as: the latest photo of passport size, signature, mark sheets and certificates of the qualifying degree
