MTech in Computer Aided Design and Computer Aided Manufacturing is a two-year PG course. MTech CAD/CAM Admission Process 2025

The MTech Computer Aided Design and Computer Aided Manufacturing admission process is based on the entrance exam.This exam can either be national, such as GATE, or university-specific. Candidates are requested to check the eligibility criteria before proceeding with the application form. The admission process of VIT Chennai is mentioned below:

  • Step 1: At first, candidates will need to register themselves for the VITMEE (VIT Master Entrance Examination. This is a computer-based entrance exam.
  • Step 2: Fill out the application form with the registration number for MTech CAD/CAM available on the website of VIT Chennai and submit the form by paying the applicable fee.
  • Step 3: Then, students must register for the VITMEE examination and appear for it on the specified date.
  • Step 4: Students who have qualified for VITMEE will be shortlisted by the university.
  • Step 5: The final selection is based on GATE score and/or written test and/or interview and/or past academic performance. There will be a counselling session held by the University.
  • Step 6: The selected candidates will then have to pay the admission fee for final seat allotment in the MTech CAD/CAM course.
