JEE Advanced 2026 cutoff will be announced along with the declaration of the result on the official website. This cutoff represents the minimum marks a candidate must score to qualify for an All India Rank (AIR) and become eligible for JoSAA counselling for admission into IITs. The cutoff will include details such as the minimum percentage and marks required in each subject, the minimum aggregate marks, and the overall percentage out of 360 marks. Only candidates who meet or exceed this cutoff will be considered for the rank list and further counselling process.

 

Looking at trends from previous years, the cutoff for JEE Advanced 2026 can vary significantly. In 2025, the cutoff dropped across all categories, with the Common Rank List (CRL) cutoff at 20.56%, GEN-EWS and OBC-NCL at 18.50%, SC, ST, and PwD at 10.28%, and Preparatory courses at 5.14%. However, in 2024, the cutoffs were higher: 30.34% for CRL, 27.30% for GEN-EWS and OBC-NCL, 15.17% for SC/ST/PwD, and 7.58% for Preparatory courses.
