IIM Shillong - Indian Institute of Management

Admission: The teachers in the one-year course are awesome! They really know their stuff and help us out with any questions we have. They focus on making us more disciplined, which is cool. They're like the heart of the college, keeping us all together. Love it!

Placement: Every year, more and more companies are showing up for placements. In 2023, a whopping 173 companies visited our campus for hiring. Some of them are big shots, with the best pay packages around. The placement team really impressed me with their hard work.

Campus: The campus is really nice and spacious, which is why I picked this college. The hostel rooms are super comfy and always clean. They make sure everything is sanitized regularly. Plus, we have easy access to clean drinking and purified water. The food in the hostel is healthy and tasty.

Admission: The best part about IIM Shillong is the professors. They're super smart, easy to talk to, and always willing to help. They come up with cool new ways to make learning more fun. The PGP office is on top of things, always updating the curriculum to prepare us for the real world.

Placement: The placement scene at IIM-S is pretty good, with nearly all MBA students landing internships. Most start off in marketing, then shift to finance for final placements. Campus: IIM Shillong started at a temporary campus, but now they have a brand new campus with top-notch facilities. The current campus has everything you need too. IIM-S is the only business school in India that has a Golf Cup every year. It's cool to see the college focusing on the overall growth of students. Can't wait for the new campus to be ready for us soon!

Admission: IIM Shillong is top-notch when it comes to academics. The coaching and support they provide really help us study better and get high scores. The teachers are so good that more students join every year  admissions go up by around 25%.

Placement: IIM Shillong has some top recruiters like Latentview, Amagi, Yes Bank, and Microsoft. They gave 87% of us placements in my year. The best package was 31.5 LPA, which is awesome, especially for postgrads.

Campus: The college provides great transportation options on and off campus. Remember to switch off your phone and leave it in the lab before going to class. Plus, this college is super up-to-date with technology!

Admission: The teachers here are a mixed bag. Some are awesome, but most are just okay. They struggle to keep us interested. We have to attend at least 85% of the classes for each subject. Each subject has around 20 classes, and there are like 7 or 8 subjects each term. The first year‚¬â„¢s classes could use some improvement.

Placement: The batch of 2020 had a top package of 40 LPA for domestic roles, and the average package was around 18 LPA. Everyone got placed for both their internships and final placements. The highest internship stipend was 3 LPA for 2 months from Aditya Birla Group. A lot of students landed jobs in Consulting and Marketing firms.

Campus: The campus is temporary and doesn't have many things like sports facilities or computer labs. But it's in a good location with everything we need close by. We're moving to a new campus this year. The hostel rooms are small and you might have to share with two or three people. The food in the mess isn't great.

Admission: The lectures here are super helpful. The teachers really know their stuff and teach well. They prepare us well for the real world. If we study every day, the exams are a breeze. You just need 50% to pass the semester.

Placement: Most students in our college got placed, around 85%. Big companies like MNCs, IBM, Deloitte, and Solar came for placements. The highest salary offered was 35 LPA and the lowest was 12 LPA. About 15% of students also landed internships in different fields.

Campus: The college has great facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, library, food, and medical services. Each department has its own space. They also organize sports, games, and cultural events. The dining hall and cafeteria are clean, and the food is pretty good too.

Admission: The teachers here are super dedicated. They run workshops for us, which is cool. Just a heads up, the exams can be tough if you skip classes.

Placement: I really like how our college helps us find good jobs. Almost all students get jobs in big companies. The highest salary offered is 53 LPA, which is awesome!

Campus: The academic buildings here aren't great, but the classrooms and lecture halls are top-notch. Plus, you can stay on campus in the hostel, which is convenient.

Admission: The teachers at IIM Shillong are awesome. They teach using whiteboards and presentations, which helps a lot. Exams are tough but fair. We have assignments as internal exams and mid-term and semester exams every month. You need to score 70% to pass.

Placement: IIM Shillong is great for placements. The placement cell really pushes us to learn and grow. They organize workshops that focus on practical skills for jobs. The highest package is around 30 lakhs per annum, while the average is 15 lakhs. In our second year, almost everyone gets internships. Big companies like Amazon, Microsoft, and TCS come for placements here. It's a good place to kickstart your career.

Campus: The college has awesome facilities and a great campus. The classrooms are spacious and can fit a lot of students. They have separate hostels for guys and girls. The hostel rooms are clean and the food is really good. The teachers here really care about our education.

Admission: The teachers here are top-notch with fancy degrees and lots of experience. They really know their stuff and make classes interesting. Exams are pretty straightforward, and most students pass with an 87% success rate.

Placement: I really like studying at IIM Shillong. Lots of students get accepted here, around 60-75%. The average salary package is between 11 to 25 LPA. They also give us practical training. After our course, top companies like Ford, HDFC Bank, Google, IBM, and Accenture hire students. You can get jobs like Program Executive or Project Manager here. It's a good place to study for sure!

Campus: The college is pretty basic since it doesn't have a sports center or a computer lab. But it's in a good location with everything you need close by. We're moving to a new campus this year. The rooms in the dorms are small, fitting two or three people. The food in the cafeteria isn't that great though.

Admission: The teachers here are super helpful and really know their stuff. They teach really well and have a clear way of doing things. We look at real-life examples and stories from the industry. The course is spot on and made for what the industry needs.

Placement: The summer placements for our group and the final placements of the older students were awesome. Everyone got jobs in top companies. They had roles in marketing, consulting, finance, management, strategy, and other cool areas.

Campus: I go to IIM Shillong, and even though it's in a temporary campus, the facilities are pretty good. The classrooms have smart boards and projectors, which is cool. The campus has Wi-Fi everywhere, which is convenient. The medical facilities are good too, with a full-time doctor on campus.

Admission: The professors at IIM Shillong are top-notch, both the permanent ones and the visiting ones. They really know their stuff. The way they teach using real-life case studies is super helpful for us students. It gets us ready for our future jobs. After the first year, we all have to do internships to learn about the industry. And I like how diverse our group is  we've got all kinds of backgrounds, which makes learning from each other really cool.

Placement: The placements in 2017-18 were awesome! All students got placed for summer and final placements. The salaries and number of companies visiting went up a lot. The Placement Committee did a great job handling everything.

Campus: The campus has everything you need, even though it's a temporary one. The facilities like Gym and Sports grounds are good enough for now. The campus can handle the current batch size just fine. I didn't face any infrastructure issues during my year at IIM Shillong.
