Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management was inaugurated in 1995 in New Delhi in remembrance of Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri. It offers a postgraduate diploma in management (PGDM) in various streams and a fellow program in management. The National Board of Accreditation (NBA) has certified PGDM General and PGDM Financial Management. LBSIM is listed in India's top 20 Private Business Schools and India's top 50 Business Schools collectively. In Delhi NCR, it is ranked in the top 5 Business Schools. Since 2014, the institute has been a member of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.
