26 Sept, 2025 : IIT Guwahati has announced changes to the GATE 2026 schedule to avoid a clash with the UPSC Engineering Services Examination (ESE) on February 8, 2026. The GATE 2026 committee has confirmed that papers such as CE, EC, EE, GE, GG, IN, ME, and PI will not be held on this date, in line with the UPSC Annual Calendar. The updated schedule will be released soon.

NIT Agartala has an impressive range of scholarships for the UG, PG, and meritorious students. The NIT Agartala scholarship options are offered by different sources, including the institute itself, the Government of India, MHRD, private entities, and multinational corporations. In addition to these options, NIT Agartala also facilitates Education Loans to spread out the course fees for students over a manageable payment plan. However, it's important to note that each scholarship has specific eligibility criteria, often based on a family's annual income.
