AILET 2026 Exam Centres: Exam Dates, List, Do’s & Don’ts, Guidelines

AILET 2026 Exam Centres: NLU Delhi will assign candidates’ with their chosen exam centre for taking the AILET 2026 exam. Candidates can choose their preferred AILET exam centre while filling out the AILET 2026 Application Form. Test takers can choose up to three different AILET exam centres, as such that the 1st preference should be the first choice, and 2nd & 3rd be the second & third choices, respectively. The final exam centre along with its address assigned to candidates will be mentioned on the AILET Admit Card 2026. The admit card can be downloaded from the official website at nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. Previously, the AILET 2025 exam wasn’t conducted in four cities, namely, Bilaspur, Kota, Shimla, and Siliguri. Read further to know more about the AILET 2026 Exam Centres.

How to Change AILET 2026 Exam Centre?

Candidates cannot change the AILET 2026 Exam Centre once confirmed. They need to choose at least three preferences as per their first, second and third choice of AILET Exam Centre, during the AILET Registration 2026. Once submitted, the choice of exam centres cannot be changed again under any circumstances. Therefore, candidates are advised to be careful while filling out the exam centre preferences during the application process of AILET 2026.

 

Do’s & Don’ts at AILET 2026 Exam Centre

Candidates appearing for AILET 2026 must follow specific rules at the exam centre to avoid disqualification. They should reach the centre early and carry all required documents like the admit card and a valid photo ID. It is important to stay calm, follow instructions, and manage time wisely during the exam. Candidates must not carry any electronic devices, notes, or engage in unfair practices. AILET 2026 Exam Day Guidelines

Candidates must carefully follow the instructions mentioned on their AILET 2026 admit card. They should reach the exam centre at least one hour before the exam to complete the verification process. It is mandatory to carry an original photo ID and the admit card to gain entry into the exam hall. Bringing restricted items like mobile phones, digital watches, and calculators is strictly prohibited. Check some of the important guidelines of AILET 2026 exam day as given below-

  • Reach the exam centre at least one hour before the exam starts for smooth entry and verification.
  • Carry a valid photo ID proof in original and one photocopy, such as Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Driving License, Passport, or Ration Card.
  • Bring the AILET 2026 Admit Card with a clear photo and correct test centre details.
  • Carry at least two black or blue ballpoint pens and one HB pencil to fill the OMR answer sheet.
  • Do not bring any prohibited items like study materials, mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, or electronic gadgets to the exam centre.
  • Avoid wearing expensive jewellery or accessories, as the university is not responsible for lost items.
